Blue Jay 76 Gas Station used to be cheap since early 2000s, fast forward to 2022. No other gas stations is cheap. WTF!!!!!!! This place would've gotten a 5 star rating from me if gas prices where priced between $1-2/gallon. Please bring back affordable GAS! Also, why am I getting taxed more when the roads aren't even subpar in great condition. Just my 2 cents. I should be getting charged less after all this years of high taxation. Nothing better than cheap gas and good quality where I don't feel like I'm breaking the bank and choose weather to starve or fill up my tank to afford to go to work. Other than that, Happy gassing everyone!!!!!! All gas stations will be getting a 1-2 star rating review from me. What qualifies a 4-5 star rating is if gas prices are affordable AF or if I win the lottery or scratchers worth more than $1k to hopefully last me the year or a life time of gassing where I DONT CRINGE EVERY SINGLE TIME ON EACH FILL-UP. Go to the Shell station at 5 Points instead. The absentee owner of this 76 station must not care - the poor attitude of the employees reflects in the looks they give me when i ask for a squeegee for my windshield - Like i'm asking for free beer! This was the third time I've been in and asked for a squeegee thinking it was just a fluke - NOPE! I started pumping gas into my truck - the bill would have been over $100 - I pulled the nozzle out at $25 and went to Shell - I wont be back and I live on the mountain. read more

It is hard to find a good mechanic, especially in a small town. In Blue Jay at the 76 Gas Station there is Dean. Our entire family has taken our cars to Dean for odds and ends. I needed rotors on my Jaguar and I didn't have the time to search out and go down the hill. I dropped it off in the morning and they diagnosed it, finding that I needed rotors and brakes. I had to get it done and was expecting a few hundred dollars for the repair only to be pleasantly surprised that the workmanship and cost were far better than I expected. I was happy with the price, very happy and they had my car ready to roll that same day. I highly recommend not going off the mountain if you are looking for a great mechanic, Dean is the MAN!!! read more

Our car sprang a coolant leak on the way up the mountain to Lake Arrowhead. I managed to get to the Blue Jay 76 station, but with coolant spraying over the engine. Given that the car is late model and the leak was all but buried under the engine cover, supercharger, etc., I was looking at a very big towing bill down the mountain to a Jag dealer. Dean and his nephew took a look at leak, stopped what they were doing, and had the car back on the road an hour later. Their "temporary" repair has held up for 6 weeks now, with no sign of a leak.
