Valerie has a fantastic view of Toronto and the CN tower. Make sure you head out to the patio and take pictures. The service was top tier, the employees are super attentive and helpful. In terms of the food, the 2 items we ordered were so...mid. The maki roll was bland and it was served on a plate with very visible fingerprint marks. The waygu mac tasted like a glorified big mac with a spread that was very forgettable and underwhelming.

This is definitely a spot for the views. Compared to other cocktail bars, it's more on the pricer side. The location is what makes the place. As for ambience it definitely has a fresh and vibrant feel to it. I think the food options can be improved and more shareable items can be added or rotated in the menu. My recommendations are the tempera shrimp. And the mochi ice cream was quite refreshing. It's great for a date night or one on one gathering. I'd say come for the views and ambience. Our service was really nice and hospitable. We had a birthday to celebrate and our server did a really great job to make it enjoyable.

I was excited to visit Valerie, and the experience started off great--the staff were incredible and very friendly! We tried the Winterlicious menu, which included the salmon tataki and soy garlic chicken for appetizers, the sea bass and steak for mains, and the mochi ice cream and matcha raspberry sandwich for dessert. The salmon tataki was the highlight--flavorful with amazing garnishes. The soy garlic chicken was exactly as expected, a huge portion that we ended up taking home. The mains were a bit on the underwhelming side. While the steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, it was a little on the tougher side. The sea bass didn't have the most appealing presentation and was underseasoned--I ended up using the sauce and seasoning from the steak to enhance it and it worked out. For dessert, the mochi ice cream was nice, but the matcha raspberry sandwich was a bit too sweet for me, the raspberry slightly overpowered the matcha. Overall, for a $60 Winterlicious menu, it was a solid experience. I'd definitely come back to try other dishes!

Fried rice & French fries (not the best fries cause they were crunchy) if you like crunchy, these will be good.

Omg such a gem! Abby called me personally to confirm my reservation, went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible experience. She not only made sure I had everything I needed but also recommended the best dishes on the menu, one being the fried rice! I've eaten fried rice all over the world, but I've never had anything like what I had here. It was hands down the best fried rice I've ever tasted--flavorful, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. I don't even like mushrooms so that's saying A LOT! On top of the food, the service was exceptional. Lauren, our waitress, was an absolute gem. She not only took care of our table with grace but also gave us some great tips about what to do around the city as first-timers. It really felt like she was invested in making our experience memorable. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant were perfect--relaxed yet lively, with a fantastic view that added to the overall experience. Every part of our visit exceeded expectations, from the food to the service to the breathtaking surroundings. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for outstanding food, incredible service, and a great time, this is the place to be!

Impressed ! There are many things about this place that makes me say this. For one, its the vibe: calming with a beautiful view. I ordered the Yume Roll, Oni Roll, The Valerie, Unagi Love and French fries. The French fries had great flavor, the variations in flavor made it wow. The rolls were made fresh. If you guys are going here make sure to click pictures. The Toronto skyline paired with good food is what Valerie about. Would definitely come back.

The entire team at Valerie provided an outstanding, upscale, and inviting experience from start to finish! Sadamir warmly welcomed us on the rooftop bar, and crafted delicious cocktails! Once the sun finally set, we were kindly guided to the main bar where Caitlyn continued this five-star service! Food was prepared quickly and every dish was very flavourful! This is a prime location to kick back after a busy day, meet new friends, and dive into an extraordinary scene powered by friendly and accommodating staff who help make a memorable experience!

Very nondescript outside facade - no sign telling you what it is other than a small "BSC" (for Bovine Sex Club) painted near the door. Hard to miss though as the exterior is made up a punk rock style sculpture of rusted bikes & other assorted ephemera. The interior is similar, visually. Great sound system & chill vibes pervade throughout. Weirdly the stage is right in the entrance of the club, on your left, with a long bar along the right side, heading back. Great, crowd, great location in cool area with lots of restaurants & plenty of parking - both on the street up to 2 hours & extended parking for a flat-rate of CA$20 (~$14 USD) from 6:00pm until the next morning, just 2 blacks away.

Are the beer cans running out? It's possible. But, it's a dive in the way of the old dives. And the acoustics for bands are... not great. But they are a sign of what once was. Without attempting to try to present a front of a time long gone, The Bovine simply exists today as it once did in that time long ago, before Smokes stickers, before iPhones, back when people would just go to a bar to talk with those they didn't know the morning prior. Bring cash though, unless you're looking to make some big orders, because credit card is a minimum fifty-dollar spend.

The ambience is lovely and the seating is exceptionally comfortable--perfect for winding down after a day in the city. The staff are very friendly, though the service was a little on the slower side. A solid, easy choice for hotel guests, but perhaps not a 'destination' restaurant on its own.

I've always enjoyed the elegant and modern decors of the cafe on the 1st floor, and Dia Restaurant was just as nice! We made a reservation on OpenTable, and was seating right away when we arrived. We had a cozy booth in the corner with a nice view of the restaurant. Our server was friendly and welcoming :) and the manager also came by to check in on us during our meal. Our server recommended the Mushroom Garganelli, and it was SO creamy good. My partner had the Caribbean Salmon, and she really enjoyed it too, especially that coconutty jasmine rice on the side! The fried pickles with the sweet and chili sauce was yummy too! Overall, a really great experience! I would definitely recommend this spot to my friends and family :)

Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there... but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here... please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. Thank you Soho House Toronto, for giving me a taste of what the Soho House used to be in the states. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

They have a eclectic and faux rustic vibe going on with seating and sight lines set up so that you can watch who is in the room. Truly designed for today's busy d-bag to allow them to half listen to their guest over cocktails while they scan the room to see if someone more important has walked in. The food is meh and it feels like this place simply exists for indie film and local television producers to feel like they are a part of some scene. There are 200 better places to eat a short walk from here.

Transit options are not direct at all, ttc lists a bus that services the venue as a seasonal bus, but i've never seen it in any of my concert going years. indirect options, the 509 harbourfront streetcar, the 511 bathurst streetcar, the 29 dufferin bus to the dufferin gates, the 121 fort york to the princes' blvd gates, and finally the exhibition go station, all of the above are with a 15-20 minute walk to the venue grounds and then a further 5-10 minute walk to the lounge. parking options, on site there is parking, but it fills up pretty quick, $30 a vehicle, across the street on the CNE grounds has alot of parking for $20, and just north of those grounds in liberty village i've seen parking for $5-10 depending on the lot and if they know an event is going on or not, again with a walk. I'm really happy with this lounge, the service levels that they have provided and its always been a great time with friends!
