They also buy and sell designer bags, shoes, and jewelry. I arrived on June 14, 2025, to pick up two pairs of Christian Louboutin's that needed the soles replaced and a pair of Aquazzura heels that need new heel tips. Upon arrival, I was informed that they were having a 40% off sale on everything in the store. I purchased the cutest purse that I had been eyeing for months (picture attached). If you are looking for new heel tips, sole restoration or discounted designer bags, heels, shades, watches or jewelry, I highly recommend Michael's Boot & Shoe Repair. After I gave them to him, he told me that the soles were separating from the boot! I found Michael's Boot & Shoe Repair on Yelp and decided to taken them in for repair. I dropped them off and was given a pick up ticket. The woman who worked there gave me a ticket and said I might want to take a picture of it because it often gets lost. And having that ticket number is the only way to retrieve your item at pick-up. So glad I did because I couldn't find it when I went to pick them up! The woman looked over the boots and said the cost would depend on how much gluing was needed. Fair enough. Once the "promised by" date arrived, I went to pick up the repaired boots. The cost and time needed for repair was reasonable. The repair took place back in December, and they are still holding up, so they did a great job! I would definitely use Michael's Boot & Shoe Repair again if the need arises.

My husband and I searched high and low for another leather couch to replace our old one, but we couldn't find one that we liked as much as our old couch. We finally decided that we were willing to invest in having our old leather couch redone and that's when we found The Leather Hospital. WOW! They have best customer service, the greatest attention to detail, and they are the most honest people around. I received an at-home consultation to discuss all that I wanted to have repaired and they took my couch with them that same day. When my couch was returned I was over the moon! I felt more excited than if I would have purchased a new couch that I knew I wasn't going to love as much as my old couch. Now I have my new-old couch and it is PERFECT! The detail in the stitching, the quality of the leather, and the reconstruction of the support is top-notch! Do not bother looking anywhere else. Their prices are fair and their service is superior! I was quite disappointed with the workmanship done on my two accent chairs that Hugo reupholstered…read more Especially after reading such positive reviews. The chairs have corded trim that runs along the entire wooden frame of the chair, both front and back sides. The corded trim was hot glued on with many sections of "purple" hot glue seen running along the fabric of the chair as well as on the wooden frame. I pointed this out to him and he just shrugged. It took me hours to try to remove the hot glue with solvent, having to be especially careful around the wood frame so as not to remove the finish. Once I got them home and could really look them over, I saw how poorly done the seat cushions were...the fabric does not lay smoothly across the seat and the cording is unevenly sewn on. On both chairs, the small fabric pads on the top part of the wood arm rests look terrible! I'm embarrassed to have people sit in them as they can especially see the poor quality workmanship done on these arm rests. There were also several visible staples used to attach the cording on some sections that I removed. Also, I had to make two trips to pick them up as one had what looked like black grease on sections of the chair and it had to be redone. I asked him if he could remove the visible purple hot glue while redoing the chair which he did not do. He may do well covering some items as I read in the reviews but for me, the quality absolutely is not there when it comes to a more detailed accent chair. These were purchased from Haverty's Furniture but they no longer look like the high end quality chairs they once were. Jeannie Walsh
