I had the best experience at Valencia Smog. Al was able to take me in for an urgent smog test as a walk in. My car failed since I had not driven it in a couple months and Al offered to stay 30 MINUTES (!!!!) after his closing time to re-test (free of charge!!!!) after I drove it on the freeway for 30 minutes, after which is ended up passing. Al is so incredibly generous and kind and I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!! And so knowledgeable as to how I could fix the test that evening. THANK YOU!! read more

Great service. In and out in less than 20 min. You can wait at Arizmendi bakery next door too!

Incredibly helpful in diagnosing a software issue that was causing an incorrect smog test failure, and retesting for free once it was fixed.

Called in to get a smog check, they told me to come at a specific time. When I arrived they said come back in 3 hours.. waste of time

Was able to get a walk-in smog check here around 7:45am on a Thursday right away with no wait. Alli, the owner/attendant, was super friendly and professional. I was able to get everything I needed for my DMV renewal. The smog test plus certificate came out to be $88, which seemed like a good value to me! There's a nice co-op bakery next door to chill at while you wait for your car to be checked. Five stars all around! read more

hands down the best, had me out in 20 min. the guy there was super awesome and quick but not rushed. While waiting i noticed they have some of the lowest gas prices so i had to fill up which he kindly did that for me as well. read more

Good service for a fair price. I left my car and walked down the street for a coffee. After I was done I walked back and the test was done. Not a bad way to spend an hour. read more

Easy, fast and great customer service. I went over the weekend (early Saturday) and they did in less than 39 min.

The technician is very considerate, kind, helpful and highly professional. The first time I did not pass the smog check for my ten-year-old car because a pipe was broken. He kindly told me with great patience where and how I could change this broken pipe. His policy is no charge if not passed the smog check until it is passed. I highly appreciate his honesty and help. I recommend this station highly. S.W. read more

This was my first time doing a smog check. When I got the notice from DMV I gave a big sigh and was like, "Great - here's something that's going to be a total PITA and take time that I don't really have." Well, to my surprise, thanks to to Alli and Valencia Smog, it was painless and quick. I called ahead and Alli saved me a spot. I arrived, gave him the car and went to get a coffee while the work was done. 20 minutes later he calls, it's all done. In and out, totally painless. Thanks for making my first smog experience fast and easy! read more

Have been meaning to write a review . . . came here about a month ago after making an appt with Ali. As others have noted, Ali was super friendly and attentive. The breakdown occurred when it turned out that I needed a STAR certified station, which this isn't. I'm not an expert and had no idea that there are two kinds of Smog Stations. Ali on the other hand should know this, and IMO should confirm which one you need when making the appointment -- rather then after you arrive. As a result, I was late to work and had to scramble to find another station and park my car elsewhere at a greater expense. Great service means being more mindful of customer situation. read more

Everything went smoothly. As others have claimed Ali to be one of the nicest people they have ever met......I cannot say as I did not spend too much time around him. He is professional and friendly and seems to enjoy his career. So no complaints. He is not the cheapest but re-test is free if you need one! I told him he had a lot to live up to with some of his Yelp reviewers positive comments! read more

Great experience ! My cars catalytic sensor wouldn't turn on and therefore I was unable to pass smog inspection. Ali told me drive the car another 100 miles as it had to run through a number of system checks in order to come on. Long story short it worked and I passed ! Many thanks to Ali and everyone at Valencia Smog. I'll be back for sure. read more
