I dropped my dress off first week of February and 2 weeks later I came to pick it up and it wasn't ready for another few hours. The total for getting my dress hemmed was $80. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. He gave me an orange receipt but the price showed $0.00. I came back to pick up the dress and he said it is $15.45. I said, "What!?!? You said it was going to be 8 dollars and change???" He stated (and this was his exact words), "need more fix." I was so upset that I took the dress, gave him 16 dollars in cash, and told him to keep the change. Never going back! Also, he doesn't have a list of his prices. Learning lesson: get documentation or a "receipt" of the price you were quoted. Total rip off.

When she returned to the cleaners, she was told her blazer was missing and they could not find it. The owner(?), an elderly gentleman, told her he'd look for the same blazer and replace it for her. After a week of giving my mother the run around and being told he could not find it, my mother took it upon herself to look for it and was able to find it, order it, and pick it up the next day. When my parents and I returned to the cleaners to ask for a reimbursement, the elderly gentleman had a completely different blazer that he expected my mother to accept. He refused to reimburse my mother for the blazer he lost. It wasn't until the police and civil court was brought up that the owner begrudgingly agreed to reimburse my mother. I would not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone.

There's literally normal, medium, and large sized washing machines. the large machine though will set you back $11 as of 2024. For the Queen sized comforter I brought in I was able to use the medium sized one no problem for $6.25. It's $1 more if you use hot water. Oversized dryers were cheaper for some reason. I was able to dry my comforter for $3.50. While I was waiting for my clothes, the nice lady offered me hot coffee and cookies which I politely turned down but who does that?
