I was looking for a cleaners to have a few items pressed that did not charge highway robbery. I don't iron because I'm terrible at it. I stumbled across this gem on Yelp and since it's on my way to Trader Joe's have it a shot. The turnaround time is good, the prices are better than what I've been charged at other places were better. I was able to get my dress and two men's dress shirts pressed for a reasonable cost. The items came out looking nice and the people who helped me on both visits were nice. This is one of the two one price cleaners I have found in Central Florida so far. I am very impressed with the cleanliness and stellar service with smiles for this dry cleaners. However, as with the other cleaner, I am disappointed that extra starch means little to none. I will give them one more try on this but until I see that starch I ask for a deduction of a star. Otherwise, everything was cleaned as requested, spots were out of my white blouse, and creases where designed. I love that they clean the items on the premises too!! read more

Came in on a Friday at 12:35pm as a first timer. Needed garments by the next day Saturday morning. Manager did it, free of charge. Now that's how you gain a loyal customer for life. Not only that, but the lady at the register had the attitude rejecting me, telling me to read the signs, bring all short etc and he came through to save the day. Not that I'm the type that would leave a bad review for that, I mean I'm the one in the wrong. Plus, it's hot as balls inside and I couldn't imagine working in a place that's hotter inside than outside, in FlORIDA mind you. So, I'll let the attitude slide. Probably one of the worst cleaners I've ever been to I asked nicely after giving them a second chance not to leave pressed marks on my clothes. The woman at the counter got nasty with me at the counter then I proceeded pay with American Express and she nastily through the card back at me and said we don't take that card! This shop has been open for over 20 years and it's refined itself into the best dry cleaning shop in central Florida. The prices are lower than any other store, but you would never know it because the job they do is awesome. Don't be turned off by the low cost. They are always professional. The staff are friendly and willing to help. If they feel something should be done at home, they will let you know and forego the sale. Completely ridiculous experience!! Someone at this place did one of two things...either they got blood on my custom made Tom James white shirt or someone in their employ wore it and got blood on it. I went to pick up my dry cleaning today and they give me my shirts and then hand me one saying we didn't clean this one because there was blood on it. I thought maybe they meant on the collar because that is definitely possible when I shave but no they hand me my shirt with a ridiculous amount of blood on it that did not come from me. I can't even truly explain this so I will post pictures. Then the guy that works there has the audacity to hand me 2.79 and say to me we didn't wash this one. You actually owe me 200.00 for my shirt. What a poor, terrible, place that I will never go to again. I will personally tell everyone I ever meet to never use this place. This is just so wrong. Someone in your employ either wore my shirt out or got blood on it some other way. Never in 20 years of dry cleaning my shirts every week have I had something like this happen. Been going to this cleaners since they opened. Always happy with the service and the personnel...until lately. For some reason they have started using perfumed detergent for laundered items. PLEASE STOP using perfumed detergent! Odorless, "Free & Clear" detergent has been around for a long time. Many people are highly allergic to perfume, including me. Also, I don't want to smell like a chemically made odor. Regretfully, I am moving on to another cleaner/launderer. read more

Was extremely skeptical about using this location because of a previous review left by some dud named Roy (literally a week before my soliciting the cleaners). Well, I'm glad I went anyway. I love that I can always count on a fixed price and that everyone is always so nice when I drop off or pick up my dry cleaning. Also really appreciate that they remember who I am. They do an insane amount of customers and know everyone by name. When I first brought in my laundry they asked questions about what I wanted and even offered advice on different colors of pants. I have been a customer of quality cleaners since 2006 when I visited their second location in Leesburg, Florida. I now currently use their Maitland location. I have been to many dry cleaners over the years and have experienced many negative circumstances. I have had dry cleaners loose my clothes only to later find them placed under a totally incorrect, unrelated name. I once had a cleaners press accordion peats out, of one side of my dress. Something very hard to overlook when dropping off clothes. Only to have the owner, when brought to his attention, state he is not concerned about the damage, take my business else where. All of which he stated in front of other customers, as I remained calm and quiet. As a matter of fact, the particular incident was not the first time I had damage to my clothing at the same location. It was the third and last occurrence. I have had stains on my clothing items, numerous times after items were dropped off. More often than not employees have no manners, never say hello or are even on the phone the entire time you are present on a personal call. You name it, It has occurred. It is an industry, when a customer is on the receiving end of such results, it is difficult to remain a loyal. I am not stating, I have never had an incident at Quality cleaners. Once there was, perceived damaged to items dropped off. I brought the incident to the staff's attention. They took the items in, cleaned the items again at no additional cost. All of the spots did come out, except for discoloration on one shirt. One shirt, which they compensated me for. I wasn't the fact that an incident did or did not occur. It was the manner in which they handled the incident. The incident was handled very professionally. I have brought many items in with stains that I could not get out at home. All items were returned spot free. May I also mention that Michael and the rest of the staff at quality cleaners have always been very polite and courteous to myself, my family, and other customers that are also present at the same time. I also notice they know most customers by name. One on particular evening we were packing and preparing to go out of town, and I forgot to pick up my dry cleaning. I was in the near vicinity and I wasn't sure what the business hours were so I called the store to inquire? I was informed that they were already closing but, I could go ahead and stop by to received my items. As I arrived it was very evident they were closed as I had missed them by nearly 30 minutes. They additionally stated, if such a circumstance were to arise again, to call. If anyone is present they will do their best to accommodate. It is because of the great customer service and experiences I have had, that I now remain loyal to Quality cleaners. At times it can be difficult to remember that the individuals who work behind the scenes are human too. No business is going to get it right 100% of the time and everyone is going to make mistakes. At the end of the day, it is the attitude that counts and if they genuinely try to attempt to get it right. In most cases it is apparent who is making an honest attempt and truly does not care about the customer. I currently know of no such businesses to display such a level of professionalism and customer service as Quality cleaners. An absolutely pleasant establishment to do business with in a world where customer service barely exists. read more

I will never be by again. We gave them lots of chances but they can't even get water out. They also ruined a shirt and several white items came back pink. They denied them all and refused to even refund the money spent on dry cleaning the items. The clerk was very rude. We switched to Orchids and are so much happier. I thought a few items wouldn't come clean because this dry cleaner couldn't get the stains out. But Orchids had no issue with the stains. read more

I wanted to support this cleaners but after my 1st (& last) experience...I will NOT be going back! I took 2 dresses in specifically to have them spot treated to remove a few small makeup (foundation) stains. One of the employees assured me it would be easy to get those stains out. When I went to pick up a few days later, I noticed the stains were still on one of the dresses. I showed the guy & he apologized & sent it back for "redo". I left it there over the weekend & when I came back to pick it up... the stain was still on it & the guy didn't even know. What really bothered me was that this was the 2nd attempt & if they couldn't get it out, someone should've had the common courtesy to call me to let me know! OR at least tell me when I got there. Luckily I checked before leaving smh. All the did was apologized...didn't even offer to refund my $$$ my dad owned a cleaners for years & if you can't get a basic makeup stain out of a dress, you shouldn't call yourself a dry cleaners! I've been a loyal and frequent customer of Quality Cleaners since I moved to the area about six months ago. I've been spending over $60 a month on dry cleaning and until today I was satisfied with the service I received. Today however, when I took back a shirt and a suit that were damaged after I dropped them off at this location I had a completely different experience. I was politely informed that it is impossible for the damage to have taken place while they were in possession of my clothes and since they do not review the clothes when they receive them they are not responsible. I know that both items were dropped off in good condition and the damage occurred when they were in possession of my clothes. I am very disappointed with the unwillingness to stand behind their service and I plan to stop doing business with them. If you care for more than just a low price, if quality of service - especially when a problem arises - is important to you, think twice before using this facility. read more
