We both thought my hard drive and computer were "dead!" However, in less than twenty-four hours, Adam, who told me that he had never seen a hard drive with as much damage as mine, still was able to repair the damage, and then "clone" my hard drive onto a new computer. Voila! As I said, in less than twenty-four hours, I was up and running again, with ALL of my applications and data intact. It was miraculous. I can't say that this will always be the case with NTS, but I can assure you, they will do everything they can to fix whatever problem your computer may be having. We attempted to follow Apple's instructions for clearing data but seemed to have made an error somewhere. My "new" iMac wouldn't work! After spending hours trying to triage the situation myself (searching the internet and speaking with AppleSupport on the phone), I made an appointment with Allied Computing for the following day. At my appointment, I gave a brief description of my computer's issue. The technician seemed incredibly confident and competent and put my worries at ease. I left feeling hopeful that my tech trauma would soon end. The following day I received a call from Allied Computing informing me that my computer had gone through extra diagnostics tests, and was working well! They fixed the bugs in the hard drive, downloaded the latest Operating System AND set up a user account on my behalf. I'm extremely pleased with the service as they truly are professionals. While I truly hope I don't have any future tech issues, I feel much more secure knowing I can reach out to AC next time!
