I cannot sing higher praises! Every second of my experience with Allied Computing was excellent. I had purchased a used iMac from a friend. We attempted to follow Apple's instructions for clearing data but seemed to have made an error somewhere. My "new" iMac wouldn't work! After spending hours trying to triage the situation myself (searching the internet and speaking with AppleSupport on the phone), I made an appointment with Allied Computing for the following day. At my appointment, I gave a brief description of my computer's issue. The technician seemed incredibly confident and competent and put my worries at ease. I left feeling hopeful that my tech trauma would soon end. The following day I received a call from Allied Computing informing me that my computer had gone through extra diagnostics tests, and was working well! They fixed the bugs in the hard drive, downloaded the latest Operating System AND set up a user account on my behalf. I'm extremely pleased with the service as they truly are professionals. While I truly hope I don't have any future tech issues, I feel much more secure knowing I can reach out to AC next time! read more

I recently took my 2013 vintage MacBookPro into Allied for repairs to a very sticky track-pad. They analyzed the system, phoned me to provide details and suggested solution...along with estimated cost and time...then ordered the part and phoned me for pickup. All in just several days. After spending hours on the phone with Apple trying to get my MacBook Air to boot up, I asked if I could send it in to be worked on. Apple said my product was too old for this service and instead connected me with Allied Computing. They fixed my MacBook quickly, which is running great, and I did not lose any of my data that Apple said would most likely be lost. The charge was extremely reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone having issues with an Apple product. read more

Fast, professional and reasonably priced service. I felt very confident taking my Mac there and would definitely recommend them.

Sadly I didn't have a great experience with Allied. I had water spilled on my computer and after drying it out for four days I plugged it in, it worked but immediately died if it got unplugged, the battery was shot. I took it in to Allied and they did a diagnostic test on it for 60.00, then let me know that yes the battery was needing to be replaced and everything else worked but the logic board showed visual damage but was okay according to the diagnostic test. They recommended that we get a new battery and logic board which they could do for over 900.00. I asked about just replacing the battery and they quoted a cost of the battery costing 300.00 plus and a total being over 500.00. We couldn't afford that so I went and picked it up and payed the 60.00. We searched online and found a battery for 116.00 that came with a tool kit, Youtube had quite a few DIY options. We replaced it in about 40 minutes. read more

These folks are the real deal and really helped us out! My husband's Mac has been faulty for awhile, and mine had the motherboard fried from a faulty USB hub. They evaluated our computers very quickly at a reasonable price, and listed out all the options for us. It took a lot of deliberating, but we decided to get a new computer ("new to us," it was a refurbished computer). Calvin put my old hard drive in the "new" computer, and had it ready to go the next morning. Super nice, reasonably priced, and know their stuff. Highly recommend! I am so glad I brought my Mac Book to Allied! Since it crashed, I have been terrified to get it fixed bc I was sure I was going to loose all of my pictures and videos. All 3,500 of them! Took a leap of faith, and not only did they get me up and running, they recovered all of my stuff! Very promptly, I might add! Big thanks to Devona and her team!!!
