Jackson Tree Service employees were great over the phone and in person. Their bid to remove a large…read moretree limb that fell over an electric wire to my house was less than half of Ray's Tree Service bid and they were able to get to my tree within a shorter time frame (a couple of days, given the urgency). I'm very pleased with the quality and price of the service. Ray's was going to charge a premium to have the downed tree limb cut into logs but Jackson Tree did it for me without extra expense. Yes, the bobcat made tracks in our front yard we had to even out afterwards but there was no other way to get the machine into our back yard. Any other company would have encountered the same issue.

In planning, the team had been courteous and were able to get us scheduled for removal of a large…read moretree in our front yard. Their quote was the lowest for the services quoted amongst the Webster approved companies we contacted. We offered to use our neighbor's driveway for access for vehicles but they shared it wasn't needed. There was a lot of rain prior to the service. They did a good job with the tree but destroyed our yard with tire tracks and the bobcat sunk the concrete in front of our house so it's not safe. I reached out to them immediately and they said we should call the city of Webster. I spoke with the street superintendent of Webster and he looked at it personally. He confirmed it was absolutely and clearly the fault of the tree company's equipment. Calling back Jackson, they shared they aren't responsible. I will not use nor recommend them again. I'll spend my money elsewhere and will share with my neighbor too.

The care Clipper took in choosing the cuts brought a result that is something akin to artistic: balance and symmetry for the health of the trees and their appearance was achieved. They look great. All the arborists wore hard hats at all times, put up road signs advising of work ahead, and yes, they cleaned up well. They took the time to speak with us before and during the work, and made sure we were all on the same page with desired outcomes. Great company; highly recommend!

When Doug, the owner of Southfork Tree and Landscaping, came out to discuss the work I wanted done,…read morehe was down-to-earth, and I was encouraged by what he said about "doing extra" and making sure no mess is left behind. He explained what he'd do, gave me a verbal quote (it was a lot, but I had asked for a lot, and it didn't seem higher than it should be), took a few days to write it up, and returned with a written quote to review. While he hadn't captured our entire conversation on the quote, our continued discussion made me feel comfortable enough to proceed. I was not disappointed. He and his crew cut down a 50- to 60-foot hedge, ground it so it wouldn't return, trimmed up some trees, cut back and cleaned out some other bushes, cleaned up growth along my fence line, removed some landscaping stone (a lot more than either of us expected, as there was a ton in the hedge), removed a whiskey barrel planter, and told me how to take care of my mom's 55-year-old rose bush. The crew worked so hard, and the result was perfect. He added no charges for the surprise landscaping stone, and I was thankful. I recommend Southfork Tree, especially because Doug is hands-on. It's not one guy giving you a quote and hiring some other guys to do the work without supervision. You don't have to wonder if everything was communicated, because he's there, working the whole time. If he has questions, he asks. He doesn't assume. If you have questions, he's there to answer them. He makes sure it looks great. Because I know some companies use foreign companies or AI to write bogus reviews, I want to say this work was done in August 2026 on Peachwood Trail in South St. Louis County in St. Louis, Mo. (Oakville to be specific).

They were successful in removing the gigantic dead limb from a separate tree that loomed over the carport, as well as getting rid of shrubbery roots underneath so I could build my fence. They were kind enough to haul away all of the yard waste, but left me some good cut wood to burn in my fire pit. All of this hard work was done within just a couple weeks after I reached out during a busy holiday season, and at a very reasonable price. I will definitely use Southfork Tree next time I need some help.
