Today I had a 90-minute in-home massage by Rachel Daggett. I have had massages by Rachel in the past, and they are always stellar, but this was the first time I had taken advantage of her in-home services, and it was a wonderful experience. Rachel arrived promptly, and parked her vehicle at the end of my driveway, being conscious that my fiancee would be leaving soon, and avoiding parking him in. I suggested that she set up her table in the upstairs bedroom, which she did efficiently, and without fuss. I have a particularly steep set of stairs, and I was worried about her wrestling her big table up them, but it was not an issue for her, and by the time I used the restroom and changed into my bathrobe, she was ready to go for the massage, with her table completely set up. She had the lights dimmed in the bedroom, and relaxing music playing. I didn't have to worry about anything. The massage itself was, as usual, out of this world. I am a combat veteran and a police officer, so my body has been through a lot. My massages are generally a mix of relaxation and corrective therapy work, focusing on sciatica issues that I have, as well as persistent tension headaches and migraines. I am getting married in two weeks, so the added stress of that has kicked my tension headaches and migraines up to a whole new level. In short: I was a complete mess when I got on the table. Rachel has a way about her during a massage, where she is able to locate and pinpoint the trouble spots and ease them with deep tissue work and joint manipulation, however, has never left me sore afterwards. I tend to bruise easy, and her massage work has never left a mark, despite my need for heavy-handed work. She started at my shoulders and collar bone, and worked her way down, flipped me over, and worked me some more. For the full 90-minutes she was scheduled, she was working on me. No stopping, no breaks. Afterward, she gave me the cautionary "Get up slowly, whenever you're ready," and truthfully, I could have just stayed on the table and napped the rest of the night. But, I got up, and slid my bathrobe back on, and chatted with her while she gathered up her mobile workspace. Just as efficiently as she arrived, she left, and nothing was disturbed in my home. I literally didnt have to to do anything. After she left, I stayed in my bathrobe for the rest of the night, and that, I feel is a huge perk to having an in-home treatment. I got to soak all that wonderful relaxation right into my bones, and not have to deal with anything else. No getting dressed, walking to the car, driving home. No pressure to run errands or do other things on the way home that detracted from how awesome and relaxed I felt. Nope. I stayed in my bathrobe, poured a glass of wine, and was sound asleep on the couch with the wine on the coffee table before I was ever able to finish it. I woke up an hour later, totally recharged. Faithful, angelic, respectable, straightforward, temperate, trustworthy, upright, virtuous, honorable, erudite, ingenious, inventive, lively, dexterous, exquisite, fascinating, graceful, hardy, agile, comely. Rachel has ALWAYS had a PLEASANT SPIRIT and is always well kept in her appearance and when she walks into a room, it SHOWS because she lights it up with her PRESENCE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her not only because she is AMAZING in her exquisite intellectual knowledge at what she does, but because I know truly everything about her and I wouldn't change a thing! New to the area and desperately needing to establish with a new massage therapist as I have been in pain and even ended up in urgent care due to muscle spasms. I have been seeing Rachel for three Tera's now. I have been to numerous therapist as I'm a Hairstylist and we are one our feet all day and the back gets a beating. I love the fact that every massage is different. I asked her why that was and she said because I listening to what your body is telling me. I thought wow because I understand that in the field I'm in and I've never had someone tell me that with massage. She has always a bag of tricks up her sleeve to fix whatever is ailing me. Rachel was very calm and polite as well as gracious inviting me from the waiting room onto a lovely massage table. The Nirvana massage for 90 minutes was fantastic, relaxing as if I were floating in the clouds. This was my first visit with Rachel and certainly will not be the last. She made me feel very comfortable with music in the background, a massage with warm stones that were heavenly and a feeling of pure luxury. Taking care of my companion who is a 100% disabled veteran days can be difficult and Rachael made me feel as if I did not have a care in the world.
