The salesperson I talked to wouldn't even look at it, or even ask another associate to look at it, and told me that I should find a Toro store to have it fixed. When I mentioned that I bought it there and that I was told to bring any item I had a problem with back to the store, the associate just shrugged his shoulders as if to say "so what." Later that day, I spoke to the store manager, Paul, who said that I could bring the weed trimmer in the following week and he'd be happy to exchange it for a new one. Paul even told me that the associate I talked to did not follow store policy and that's not how handle those situations are supposed to be handled at the store. When I went back to the store on the pre-arranged day, Paul brought out the owner of the store, Chris, who told me that I do have to take it to a Toro store and that he wouldn't exchange it as I was promised by the store manager. Why would I buy a product from Berger if they are just going to wash their hands of it when it malfunctions? If I buy a car from a dealership, that dealership deals with the problem car and tries to help the customer with the vehicle. I have bought a lot of stuff from Berger because I wanted to buy local. Now I'm going to tell everyone I know about this and urge them to go to Home Depot.

The lid seals beautifully, it really browns better than any pot I have ever used, and the flavors are clean. Also, it is beautiful, and is a breeze to clean. I provided a table for Mr. Appliance technicians to do the repair on but instead they plopped a 100 lb oven on my marble countertop despite my direct request. The technicians continued the 4-hour repair using extensive force while drilling. I provided photos, videos, and a repair estimate from a licensed fabricator and the company dismissed it as a "stain" and denied responsibility. Poor communication, delays, and zero accountability. I'm now forced to pursue this through consumer protection and small claims. Hire at your own risk!
