Wow, what a great experience! George was extremely knowledgeable and was great to work with. The flooring looks excellent. Corey the head of the install team was 100% professional. The quality of the installation was top notch. Highly recommend!!! read more

I would never recommend using Vacaville flooring the owner George hires very poor quality workers and it shows in the results. My wife and I bought our 1st home that was supposed to be a great moment in our lives but when we started to do the updating down stairs we decided to go with a local company ( Vacaville floors ) it was and has been the worst decision we've made. 1. When they 1st installed the floors and baseboards there was huge gaps in the baseboards so they had to come out and fix it. 2. After about a month and a half the floor started to lift up Bubbling up in the living room, kitchen, and dining room 3. 6 months later we had a leak in our kitchen "not George's fault" we decided to have them rip up the floor and tear out the bad area cost us $1,500 no problem we paid in full. 4. After 3 months the floors once again Bubbled up all over the place, mind you each time my wife and I are paying to new floors and George is saying that we should split the cost on the materials smh. So going on a year and half they come out rip up ALL of the flooring and the hardwood underneath, which they should have done in the first place and replace EVERYTHING now going on 3 and half years living here we've had the floors ripped up 3 times and we still have gaps EVERYWHERE and trim falling off. AVOID VACAVILLE FLOORING, AND GEORGE THEY DO POOR WORK AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS HOMES THAT THEY'VE WORKED HARD TO GET. We spent $7,700 and are still very unhappy with the floors. We arrived at Vacaville Floors without an appointment, but when I called, George was there within 10 minutes. He spent a great deal of time with my husband and myself reviewing all different type of wood flooring we were inquiring about. After taking a few samples home and making a decision, George came over to our home two days later, measured, and made some calls to his contacts, and found out the time frame of delivery. Once the flooring was delivered, he was able to begin the following week. This was much sooner than we anticipated, but we were thrilled. We signed a contract for our old flooring to be removed, taken to the dump, and all new flooring installed. George and his two installers, Edwin and Cody, were highly professional, easy to talk to, were on-time every day, and always cleaned up with all tools out of the way. There was one area of our floor that needed special care, which added a day, but they had told us that the additional day may happen. They finished by the fifth day, cleaned up, and trash removed. We recommend Vacaville Floors. Great local business. read more

We wanted to redo our floors, and did lots of research and got several quotes, after everything we decided to go with Vacaville Floors. Great decision! The owner is a great guy to work with, the crew was professional and friendly, the job was done amazingly and the price was very good. I highly recommend using these guys they are top notch and deliver on what they promise. We did the entire house and it was done in week with no hiccups, use them you won't be disappointed. read more

Vacaville floors installed laminate hardwood flooring in our house back around September/October timeframe. George was great as far as suggesting floors and the pricing was excellent. However the quality of work and professionalism of the install was problematic and still continues to be a concern. The job was quoted to be complete in 5 days. The job turned into 11 days. Along with a lack of communication of what time the installation would begin each day. Sometimes the installers would show up at 9am, which was what I was told and most other days would show up to start around 10 or 11 am. There is a serious lack of consistency with this business. We had a floating floor installed. The staggered butt-joints looked good but there were to many gaps. Other sections of the floors were to tight and the boards started to run over each other. The base molding was not cornered or cut to flow with the angles either. After the floors were installed I had complaints about fixing the floor which took multiple attempts to contact George and was very exhausting as a customer. Finally they came to repair the floors. Overall the repairs were done all except the molding which had to be tore up. I was told the shop had to order more and would contact me when the material came in. I was told this back in mid February 2017, it's now April 2017 and have received no call about finishing the job. I would highly suggest shopping around for other flooring contractors before referring Vacaville floors to even my worst enemy. I urge you to think about customer satisfaction and quality before making a decision to hire this business. Business lacks communication, professionalism, and follow through with the customer. read more

So, I'm a researcher by profession. And I researched everything for our home remodel to death. Our floors were no exception. I visited probably every flooring store between Sacramento and San Leandro. Seriously. George at Vacaville Floors was honest, super available, and had the best prices. Being the shop owner, he took much more of an interest in making sure I was happy with our choices, was able to utilize his good relationships with his suppliers to get us good prices and hunt down products that I found online (I would show him photos of things from houzz.com and he would find it). He let us take samples home no problem. We are buying all our flooring for our 3000+ sf remodel from him - hardwood flooring, deck tiles, bathroom flooring, etc. While his shop looks small, he fits a ton of stuff in there and can get anything you want. And his prices were better than any other place I found (including the shops in Chinatown!). I really do feel I have a relationship with him and can trust him. He goes out of his way to get you what you want and make sure you're happy. I wish all of our vendors for our remodel were half as great as he is!!! read more

I had carpet installed in my bedrooms and closets. It was an easy process from picking carpet to scheduling measurements and installation. Prices were reasonable and the installers moved furniture and cleaned up everything. George was helpful and professional. I'll definitely recommend Vacaville Floors to all my friends. read more

Disappointing experience. Poor customer service. Lack of planning, couldn't meet scheduled appointments. They postponed the finishing installation of the base boards until we finally just cancelled it and did it ourselves. The promised refund has yet to show up. When meeting with the owner, he acted as if he was doing us a favor, and kept commenting on how he wasn't going to make any money on our project. We did not at any time ask for any discounts??? While I am very satisfied with the finished product, I cannot give Vacaville Floors any credit. The outside contractor that they sent to do the carpet installation, did a great job. I only wish we had asked for his name and number so we could hire him directly for any future projects. read more

We told George our family's needs and he picked out the perfect carpet for us. Prices were affordable with excellent quality and installation. read more

We bought a new house and had a number of projects we wanted to complete. We spoke with George about putting in new carpets and found he could also do our kitchen and painting. Evolution had a great team and installed new carpets, granite countertops, a new tile backsplash and painted the entire interior for a very affordable price. All the guys worked very hard and George made sure that any problem was taken care of right away. We will definitely use them when we have other remodeling work to do!!! read more

Horrible experience. Terrible customer service. Bad quality. Horrendous installation (they had to come back 3 times) In the past I used Carpet's and More... but this time, I thought I'd go with a cheap company... wow... you get what you pay for... George is cheap and his workmanship is terrible. Worst experience ever!!! I went with George to install carpet in my house. He said he could install it the day after Memorial Day. I specifically asked if the holiday was going to cause a problem and he assured me it would not. I took the day off work for the installation. The day before the install, George called saying he was unable to install due to the holiday. I was furious as this was EXACTLY what I asked about. He never apologized and acted like this is just normal business for him. Long story short... we rescheduled 3 TIMES because George promised me days before confirming with his workers. I ended up taking 3 days off work for NO reason. George had no clue on how to schedule workers and zero reliability. When the carpet arrived, it was not the same quality as he had shown me in the store. The installers agreed, my neighbors agreed and a third person (who installs carpets) agreed. However, George (who was in Reno and no where around) INSISTED it was the same quality... Seriously!!! He wasn't even around, never saw what was delivered, yet insisted it was the same. George just told me that "it was my problem" and "I had to deal with the manufacturer". I tried calling the manufacturer and they said I needed to deal with the store. George refused to back his products. He made the sale and that's all he cared about. The installation was horrible. I wish I could post pictures. The seams were overlapping and George had to have someone come back 3 times. The transitions were too big and didn't match. When I insisted on getting smaller transitions so I wouldn't stub my toe walking in my house, I had to wait another few days. Then they got the wrong transitions. The installers didn't even have a vacuum!!!! They said it broke and they hadn't gotten a new one yet. So, they left the house with carpet shavings everywhere!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! At one point, the installers tried putting two completely different metal transitions with different patterns in the same room. George was standing right there watching and was completely clueless. I SERIOUSLY CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW HE STAYS IN BUSINESS If I could rate this company with zero stars I would. I only wish I could put pictures with this post to show what crappy carpets, installation and show some of George's texts/emails with me... he is one of the worst businessmen I've ever encountered. He is cheap... low quality... low workmanship... and does not back any of his work. read more

After running into a problem with another company, we went and talked to George over at Vacaville floors. Immediately we became friends and when my wife and I explained our dilemma, George not only answered all of our questions, he made our decision making easier, and even beat the last companies price. George is a man of integrity and a true customer satisfaction kind of guy. We had a few concerns throughout the project and Vacaville floors proved themselves to be the professionals they claimed to be. There was no hesitation to create a solution to our problems and my wife and I are more than pleased with the finished product. George also recommended other home renovation professionals that are currently in the process of completing our outdoor home renovations. I would recommend that Vacaville floors be everyone's go to company for any flooring and tiling needs. read more

We bought a foreclosed house that needed flooring, and George at Vacaville Floors was recommended by our contractor. What a disappointment! Very poor installation of laminate, carpet and tile! Thought I was buying good quality laminate...got very poor quality instead! Terrible installation, with gaps everywhere! Carpet was good quality, but poorly installed on stairs. Tile was good quality, but grout is already cracking! Can't get a call back after leaving messages! Feel burned. Now storefront on Mason St is gone. read more

Great experience with Vacaville floors. Not only was the price right the installation was fantastic. Cory and his Co worker did an amazing job and my new laminate in the kitchen looks perfect. I highly recommend Vacaville floors they were great. read more

Vacaville floors is the go to flooring company in Solano county! Way better quality and customer service than lumber liquidators, floors for less and Home Depot. When my sisters boyfriend was looking to replacing his carpet throughout his house we shopped around and were lucky to choose this place! The owner George is a huge help and rather than promoting a specific product like many companies do, he showed us a wide array of laminate flooring and went over the pros and cons of each and also gave us a background on a few different hardwood flooring as well! Once we chose a much nicer textured laminate floor instead of the other floor we were looking at George made sure the price worked for us, and placed the order. Within the next week the order came in and George's install crew came and had the floors finished for a 1,200 sq ft house within a few days and left our house cleaner than it was before! My sisters boyfriend is definitely going through them for their kitchen and bathrooms in the next few months! read more
