Stanley was so awesome to work with from beginning to end!…read more Some background: I needed my exterior shutters replaced; and I was in a bit of a time crunch thanks to my HOA. I read other reviews and decided to only get quotes from two places: SJ Contractor Services and a national-level 'handy man' service. I am a renter; my landlord does not live in the local area. Why I chose SJ Contractor Services: Stanley made the entire process so easy. I received a quote the same day. He explained to me the entire process, warranty, and broke down the pricing for me. After I received the quote, I still needed to weigh my options. Texting is one of the ways Stanley contacts his clients, which is awesome! Their prices were excellent, and his customer service was outstanding. The process and end product: From the start, Stanley & SJ Contractors were respectful of my home, my time, and my requests. As soon as we decided to do business, I was immediately emailed a quote. Once the quote was signed and accepted, he came out to take measurements and take a look at what needed to be done. As soon as the measurements were taken, he made me aware of the timeline, which was fairly quick. I didn't need to be present for the work. They stand by the products they use and their work they do. I was able to pay online, and was emailed a receipt as well. After the work was done, I even received a thank you note and some chocolate in the mail! TL;DR Stanley is awesome. SJ Contractors is awesome. You can text them. All documents are electronic. Work and customer service is outstanding. They mailed me chocolate to say thanks. Hire them!

Window washing is just something I never thought about beyond an occasional spray of windex and a…read morepaper towel. One day I noticed my neighbor's house, which is the same model but always impeccable and sparkling, and wondered what made the difference. Then I saw the Clean as a Whistle truck in her driveway and I was in on the secret. That was two years and two neighborhoods ago, and I'm a repeat customer- with good reason. -Quality- these guys deliver exceptional results- really you see better through the windows and your house feels cleaner, newer after one visit. It's a small, local family owned business that has been around for 30 years. No small feat in this region! -Top to Bottom- these guys don't cut corners- I've been home and away when they cleaned and the windowsills are always wiped spotless inside and out, all screens are brushed and sprayed clean, and windows are washed and squeegeed to a sparkling finish. -Efficient and Reliable- they always arrive on time, work quickly and as a team, and are of minimal disturbance to your household goings-on. I've been on conference calls for work, had a sleeping baby in the room, you name it and they work quickly around the situation, politely, with shoes off etc. those little things add up to a very positive experience! -Fair Prices-for my townhouse with 12 vinyl clad windows and two storm doors, the total was $140. About the same as getting your house cleaned and definitely worth their labor and precision. -Excellent communication- proactive and easy scheduling- whenever I called I spoke with Rick or he called me right back. He's a real person, it's not machine operated or online scheduling, he remembers you, and I was pleased to be able to schedule their visit only a few days in advance during a busy summer season. If you've never had your Windows cleaned, I've gotta say give Clean as a Whistle a call and a chance at your business. You won't regret it.
