I responded to the email and received a follow up phone call to discuss my needs. I was able to schedule services with in a couple of days and I didn't even have to be there when they came. I received an email with pictures of before and after and WOW they did an amazing job! Very professional and thorough. Payment was super easy and very reasonable. I reached out to SJ Contractor Services to have my gutters cleaned out earlier in the week. They responded to my questions and send me a quote after I provided some details and photos. I gave them a few dates that worked for me, but they contacted me early and said they could come by today and that I didn't need to be home. I ended up being gone but was happy to have them come by. Stanley was so awesome to work with from beginning to end! Some background: I needed my exterior shutters replaced; and I was in a bit of a time crunch thanks to my HOA. I read other reviews and decided to only get quotes from two places: SJ Contractor Services and a national-level 'handy man' service. I am a renter; my landlord does not live in the local area. Why I chose SJ Contractor Services: Stanley made the entire process so easy. I received a quote the same day. He explained to me the entire process, warranty, and broke down the pricing for me. After I received the quote, I still needed to weigh my options. Texting is one of the ways Stanley contacts his clients, which is awesome! Their prices were excellent, and his customer service was outstanding. The process and end product: From the start, Stanley & SJ Contractors were respectful of my home, my time, and my requests. As soon as we decided to do business, I was immediately emailed a quote. Once the quote was signed and accepted, he came out to take measurements and take a look at what needed to be done. As soon as the measurements were taken, he made me aware of the timeline, which was fairly quick. I didn't need to be present for the work. They stand by the products they use and their work they do. I was able to pay online, and was emailed a receipt as well. After the work was done, I even received a thank you note and some chocolate in the mail! TL;DR Stanley is awesome. It was refreshing to get such wonderful service from beginning to end. These guys are truly professionals. This is not your shady craigslist "company". I requested a quote for a full powerwash of my home. They came over to give me a quote. I was not home at the time but they emailed me a detailed quote laying out the work to be performed and attaching their licenses and proof of insurance. I didn't even have to ask for that! Sweet. I accepted the proposal online. The next day I was contacted by the company and we scheduled a appointment. They did request a reschedule the day of the original appointment due to equipment issues. The experience thus far was very professional so I didn't mind it. They took steps to cover all the outside electrical sockets and other electronic devices prior to starting the power wash. The powerwash work was fantastic. I had major buildup on my sidings and the house looks as good as new now. After the powerwash they did a walk around of the house with me to ensure I was satisfied. I need my gutters cleaned and sidewalks powerwashed soon so I look forward to working with SJ again! read more

Communication and pricing was good, but more importantly they did a great job replacing all the shutters that met our HOA's specifications. I had an outstanding first time experience with SJ Contractor Services. The company was excellent with overall communication from start to finish and were very easy to set up appointments for both the estimate and the actual job. They showed up on time as scheduled for a combo house pressure was hand gutter cleaning. My home had not been pressure washed in years, but after Stanley finished the job the house looks brand new; we couldn't be happier with the service. For the size of our home, his pricing was very reasonable too. To top it off, Stanley has the highest integrity. I was at work while he worked on my home - he called me to let me know that our gutters were in good condition and not requiring a cleaning, therefore he would not charge us for the gutter cleaning. Being away from home he could have easily claimed to have cleaned the gutters and I'd have no way to prove it. His integrity, top of the line service, excellent communication, showing up on time and competitive prices make SJ Contractor Services a diamond in the rough. We have hired Stanley and this company for multiple jobs and they have exceeded expectations each and every time. The communication is great. The estimates are clear. The appointments are punctual. The prices are more than reasonable. We were out of town for the first project that we ever did with Stanley and he coordinated to pick up the materials for us from Lowe's and complete the work before we even made it back. After how smoothly this job went, we referred some work for our neighbors. Stanley is a good of a guy as there is. He is responsive, kind and patient. He went well above and beyond our expectations. Due to issues outside of his control we were unable to move forward with the shutter installation. However, we did utilize his team for a power wash.
