The on-site team reiterated the same information. That assurance was the deciding factor in choosing this service. To be clear: I would not have selected this company had I known this would be the outcome. After paying nearly $400 for this service, no donation receipt was provided. In this economy, that's not a minor issue--it was a key part of the value I was told to expect. When I contacted customer service, I was redirected from the national line to a local office, where I was told I "should not have been told that" and was advised to use my paid service receipt as a tax write-off instead. That is not an acceptable substitute for a legitimate donation receipt. I also reviewed your website and found no clear public-facing policy stating that donation receipts are not provided--yet your team explicitly told me I would receive one. That level of inconsistency is unacceptable. If this is truly company policy, it needs to be clearly communicated upfront--not contradicted multiple times during the sales and service process. Customers should not be misled into expecting documentation that will not be provided. I am requesting: * Clarification of your official policy regarding donation receipts * Accountability for the misinformation provided * A resolution for this specific situation At this point, this reflects a clear misrepresentation of services and a breakdown in communication. I would appreciate a prompt and transparent response.

XD) We're so glad we called 123 Junk to help us get rid of this unexpected "Christmas gift." We booked the appointment just the day before, and the scheduling process was smooth and simple. JJ, our client representative, was professional and friendly throughout. Albert and another gentleman arrived right on time at 9am. They were both super friendly, and the whole job took maybe 10-15 minutes--even though the grill was in a tricky spot. Everything was handled quickly, cleanly, and without any hassle. He apologized profusely and says that no one had informed him of this service issue. He said that he himself is going to go by my house this afternoon and pick up the piece. Apparently, this has identified a process failure within his company, and he promised to correct it so it doesn't repeat. Props to Phillip for taking ownership of the issue instead of handing it off to someone else to resolve. If he keeps his word and the piece gets picked up I wll come back and improve my rating . EDIT 2 - Phillip was true to his word and picked up the trunk before I returned home. As promised, I have increased my rating from a 2 to a 4 star. Originally I had planned to raise it to a 3 star if the trunkhad been collected, but in recognition of the fact that Phillip understands that talk is cheap but actions are putting your money where your mouth is, as he left a small token of apology at my door. Yelp wouldn't let me do 3.75 so I rounded up in recognition... nice save Phillip. ORIGINAL POST Trash and recycling go out on Sunday night for early Monday AM pickup. Everything out where it should be on the curb. Nothing blocking the view. Come home from work early on Monday and the trunk I put out is still there. Recycling gone, three bags of trash gone. Someone made a decision to not take this item. Couldn't have been because it was too big... 30"x18" maybe.. made of chipboard and covered in vinyl. I call their "customer service" (I use that term loosely) at about 2:45PM.. CS is open until 7p. They tell me nothing they can do, all of their people are gone for the day. OK, fine, please have someone pick it up tomorrow (Tuesday). Get home about 5PM on Tuesday and it's still there. Call Customer service - surprisingly no one answers (not really), leave a message. Fancy phone system texts me back on my cell "Sorry we missed your call, how can we help? " I reply back with the same message I left on the VM. Fast forward to Wednesday AM... text back from them with a picture from the truck with the piece in question circled, asking if this is it; I confirm it is. "Thanks, let me coordinate with the crew about picking it up." 1:20PM... text back like they are delivering good news... "The crew tells me they can pick it up tomorrow morning..." I should be ecstatic except that they are actually going to pick it up on my next regularly scheduled trash day.... So, no extra effort to correct their mistake. Apparently, it's acceptable to the good people at Garby to leave trash in front of a customer's house for three days, then make it sound like they are doing you a favor by collecting it on a normal trash day. "And we flagged your address to ensure this never happens again"... that and $5.25 will get me a grande latte at Starbucks.

We lived in one of the largest apartments in our area with two bedrooms and a loft. The space was on the fourth floor with no elevator. We tried to empty out as much as we could to quickly realize we needed the help of professionals. In just two sessions, Carlos and his team were able to COMPLETELY clean out our residence. This included everything in all cabinets in a very stocked kitchen and two bathrooms, three King sized beds, three very large mounted TVs along with their mounting, five couches and all screws and wall hangings. I was in utter disbelief when I went to do a final sweep since there was literally nothing for me to sweep. Not to mention the cost for the service was VERY competitive. I am truly grateful to the team and i will be recommending them to everyone I possibly can.
