Chris is very patient and efficient. I moved in and needed a really good handyman to help with hanging up decorations and assembling an entertainment center fast. After the entertainment center assembly, he went room by room and hung photos and other wall decorations. He even helped by suggesting ways to hang things up based on ideas from previous jobs. Ok so i'll just start by saying i have used the services of griffin logistics for three times now and so far i am one happy customer! It is a local hidden gem that i hope people would utilize. Below are my experiences on hiring griffin logistics: My first experience was when i was having troubles getting my car to the shop. My busy work schedule wouldn't allow me to have some time for it. So a friend of mine actually introduced me to this company where they would actually take care of it for me. So i contacted them about it. We set a schedule for Chris (more on him later) to pick my car up & take it to the shop & back. It went smooth & i have no complaints once i got home. The car was ready to go the next day and i didn't to take some time off to get it done. Second time i used their services was when i needed a ride to go to BWI airport in Maryland for a flight early in the morning. I would've taken an Uber headed there but it would be too expensive. I could drive there & leave my car for a couple of days but it would also only be costly & would add unnecessary to my car. So i reached out to griffin logistics about the matter. We discussed a fee for him to bring me there & pick me up when i got back. The price is reasonable for me so i hired them again. On the day, i got picked up early & got there in a timely manner for my flight. When i arrived a couple of days later he was there on cue & took me home. Again i was satisfied with the service provided no complaints & i got to save a few bucks for it. Third experience was when i needed some supplies for a celebration i was having for my mother. Like i stated earlier i have a busy work schedule so i did not have enough time to go buy some missing ingredients for the food i was about to cook. I needed specific ingredients (which i can't buy online) from a specific Asian store for my recipe. I needed them by the time i get home. So i contacted griffin logistics about it. They handled it for me & they delivered it to me right about the time i was leaving work. At this point i see the value of this company for people like me who need specific tasks done on a busy schedule. Nice guy, but no attention to detail and this mattered for my project in a big way. He tried to put together a swing set for me and said it didn't fit together right (so he couldn't finish assembling it). He said the holes were drilled wrong. He didn't charge me for it and worked hard, so I wasn't going to leave a review, but it turns out that he didn't read the instructions at all and spent very little care on doing it right before blaming the company. Not only did he treat pieces that weren't interchangeable as if they were, but he put it together in the wrong order, which the guys who put it together swiftly and precisely (after disassembling it) told me was the main reason it didn't fit together right in the first place. Maybe use them for small or easy things, but, anything that requires great attention to detail, find someone else. read more
