Fast forward 6 months (I never used the fireplace during the 6 months) and I was converting to gas logs. The gas fireplace company said I needed a chimney inspection and cleaning. I told them I had it 6 months ago - but I needed a new one. Fine. I used a different company to inspect the chimney and do some brick work. I saw the photos of the debris on the shelf and inside the chimney!! The other company removed Half of a 5 gallon bucket of debris. And they showed me a nail or screw one damper that was not secured during the first cleaning. So I am very disappointed - did JCS even do anything? Oh, and I paid double to JCS rather than the second company for the same services. TLDR: I do not recommend JCS

We still did not even get an appointment date. I have mobility impairment and my spouse has mobility limitation and because of that we cannot clean gutters ourselves. Meanwhile because of clogged gutters water has been pouring to the foundation and basement has been flooded all these days. I live in the basement because it is dark, quiet, and cold and I have sensory sensitivity to light, noise, and heat. Because of floods black mold has been growing in the basement and I have been exposed to it. Today I woke up from suffocating to death and found out that all my airways are blocked and I am bleeding from my mouth and my nose. I have asthma and exposure to black mold really did do its thing. Read how this company has treated disabled people and make an informed choice. If you care about your health and safety of your home, stay away from this business because they do not care.
