We went with Reno's Roofing after talking with a few other companies. Talked to Roger on the phone and he promptly came over to give me a quote. Price was very competitive, which was better than most quotes that I got. Quote didn't include any plywood, but he threw in 2 plywood for free (only had to replace 6 plywood total, so paid for 4). We got our roof done during busy rainy season, so picking a date was a challenge. The project itself went well. On the first day of the tear down, I was surprised how fast and efficient the team worked. By the end of the day, roofing materials were already delivered, damaged plywood replaced and underlayment installed. They finished the project exactly on time, as they said they would. It's expensive and the workmanship quality is so important. As a result, I focused on Yelps trusted service providers. Immediately, I noticed that Reno's roofing had an excellent reputation. My experience was so fantastic. I want to share all of the details. First of all, this is the second time I've had to purchase a new roof in the last 10 years. I won't mention names, but the first time I went with one of the big box stores. I was not very satisfied with the entire experience. I will leave it at that. Reno's roofing has it down perfectly. The professionalism immediately stands out, they are organized, efficient, and every step of the way I felt as though I was in excellent hands. I'm talking about the initial phone interview, the gentleman who came out to do the quote, the workmen who performed the job and the steps in between on an administrative level. Specifically, the gentleman who came out to do the quote did the job so thoroughly I was immediately comforted. He spent a good amount of time on both my garage roof and my home roof to ensure that he covered all of the bases and that there were no surprises later on. Here is another observation. It is my opinion that this company has a good culture. I think you know what I'm talking about. One can tell when employees are disgruntled and not happy to be at work. Everyone I dealt with at Reno's roofing was so professional and happy. I overheard them talking to each other and laughing and enjoying their work, that says a lot to me. Happy employees definitely lead to better outcomes. I was bringing my trash barrels in as it was trash day, and Boris saw me, even though he was on his lunch break, he insisted on helping me up with my barrels. This is what I'm talking about good culture, quality standards, and wonderful follow through. I give Reno's roofing five out of five stars. They arrived on Wednesday with three more crew members and worked throughout the day, finishing the whole task by Thursday. Kurt and his team did my roof in Oct. 2021. I waited to post a review as it became clear that the…read morepoor quality of their workmanship would require them to return for many follow-up visits. But after learning how little the Roof Experts' warranty is worth, I decided I couldn't wait any longer to write this review. During the first rain after they installed my new roof, the flashing around our chimney began to leak. This was frustrating because we decided to go with the Roof Experts despite their estimate being higher because the flashing was included. It took almost two months for Kurt to send a team to do the necessary repairs, but he sent two guys who hadn't worked on the original job and were unfamiliar with the house. Unsurprisingly, the leak recurred in March 2022 and Jan 2023. Then after the epic rains in February, the leak came back, this time so bad it cracked open a ceiling and damaged the house's original, 90-year old floors. When I emailed Kurt, he had the gall to claim the chimney was "properly flashed" and did not send a team to check and honor the Roof Experts' "10-year warranty". An insurance inspector and an independent contractor came to our house and confirmed that it was the flashing that was leaking, as suspected. We had to replace the entire flashing, tearing up surrounding shingles to do the new job. It turned out to be a good thing Kurt didn't send his own team because now the leak is finally fixed after having professionals do the job. When offered the opportunity to refund us for the cost of the flashing replacement, Kurt sent one follow up email asking for additional information, then ceased to respond. And that's just one reason I have to recommend you not use the Roof "Experts". The workers left trash from their lunch in our yard, damaged several plants that are still recovering 20 months later and left roofing debris I'm still finding to this day. I was promised that my gutters would be re-installed properly, but they left pieces of it lying on the floor when they left and installed other parts so poorly that the resulting spills are warping window sills on my house. So do yourself a favor and save yourself numerous headaches and find someone else to do your roof.

Cristian returned my call and scheduled an inspection very quickly. He was very knowledgeable and polite. I had a lot of questions and he was quick to respond and took the time to explain everything to me, including the permit process. He also explained the overall process, timeline and hours he and the crew would be on the roof working. There were a lot of chipped and cracked tiles that needed to be replaced. He found replacement tiles that were a perfect match. All tiles had to be removed to replace the paper, and when the tiles were reset, they were straight and looked consistent across the whole roof. At the end of each day they took the time to clean up around the entire house and even used magnets to pick up any nails. They were also careful not to damage any of the landscaping around the house. Cristian was present for both inspections from the City inspector and completed the roof and patio cover according to the timeline. The overall cost did not change from the estimate, and there wasn't any hidden costs. A contract was created and signed which included a warranty. Over the past two years, there have been several heavy rain storms including high winds. Cristian called to check on the condition of the roof, and there have been no leaks or tiles out of place. AGA Roofing is a local Santa Clarita roofer, and I'm extremely happy with the job they did. I received quotes from 5 different roofers and AGA was the most honest and transparent.
