I contacted McCormack Roofing as when I had my solar panels cleaned they said I had a missing tile (I foolishly did not ask where or if they'd take a pic). I chose McCormack based on Yelp and wanted to add to the solid reviews. I was able to reach Alan right away and he came by the next day, on time. He examined my roof (thank goodness it was fine!) and only found a tile above the garage roof that had slid out of place which he took a pic of and fixed/siliconed back in place for me at no charge! You always worry about getting taken for a ride but based on this I'd say McCormack Roofing is honest and I can highly recommend them. read more

Alan was great. Very professional and personable. I just had a small job for him -- to re-caulk a leak around a pipe's flashing. Whereas other companies had a very high minimum, McCormack adjusted the cost to the scope of the job. He took photos of all the pipes and recommended re-caulking all of them. He did the job and showed me photos of the final results. He also took photos of my shingles and recommended that we'll need a re-roof in a year or two. I had Alan out to clean some algae off my roof and I was very pleased with how the whole process went. His communication was prompt, detailed and clear and they worked hard while they were out here in the heat. They showed up on time, cleaned everything off the roof, did some tile repairs and general maintenance while they were up there, and then cleaned out the ground level area before leaving. Unlike some companies that use drones for estimates, Alan personally inspects the roof, thoroughly examining not just the tiles but also the areas underneath and around them. I had a couple of other companies assess the leak and overall condition of my roof, but neither was as thorough or reasonably priced as McCormack Roofing. Alan found an issue that the other companies missed entirely. Some of the great things about working with Alan include his excellent communication skills and his clear before-and-after pictures. The before pictures were particularly helpful in coordinating the removal of solar panels so the leak could be fixed. I contacted McCormack Roofing to diagnose and repair 2 leaks in our roof that appeared after the last big rain storm. Alan was able to come out quickly, despite his busy schedule and provide an estimate for the repairs. Unlike other contractors, he was able to show pictures of broken tiles and the compromised membrane that needed to be repaired so I was very clear on the work that would be done. Alan took up a section of tiles over the leak and replaced the failing membrane and tiles. He also replaced the rotted out plywood underneath. I am happy to report that after the last major storm the leaks have not returned. Alan just completed a skylight replacement and some roof repairs. Had a great experience from beginning to end. Two weeks prior, Alan was able to quickly come out to my house and provide an estimate. I approved the work and set the date for the job. No deposit was required even though he was ordering the skylight. On the day of the job, Alan was on time and got to work right away. Throughout the process, he texted photos of the work. At my request, Alan inspected the flashing around the skylight opening. He gave me his professional opinion that it did not need to be replaced and sent photos to support his recommendation. At the end of the job, all trash was disposed of and he took the old skylight with him. The final plus, Alan charged me less than the original quote because there was a bit less work he had to do.
