I had the good luck to be referred to Lee Yosef and family owned AAA Roofing company. A few weeks ago, during an early winter storm I had the homeowners nightmare of a leaking roof. Being a 21st Century kind of guy Lee went directly to Google Earth and looked up my roof and was able to assess the situation....one that I had not considered....I have a roof full of solar panels. Oops I forgot about those. He advised me that I would need to have the section of the panels in the area of the leak removed so he could come out and troubleshoot the roof, find the leak and repair it. He knew I didn't need a new roof, he knew that I live in Venice Beach and his office is in Calabasas, and he knew it was coming up on a holiday weekend. Remember this is likely not going to be a huge job and the owner of the company saying that he will be coming himself. Nevertheless he put me on his schedule the Monday morning after the holiday. At this point his office manager and wife Anita took over. We texted back and forth frequently always keeping me in the loop. She helped me coordinate with my solar company so everything could be done at the same time. This is a family business and even though we had never met or done business before I felt a personal touch that is not usually the norm. Monday after the holiday weekend Lee arrives as scheduled, spends over an hour on my roof, and finds the source of the leak. He doesn't try to upsell me, or schedule one of his assistants to come back another day to repair what he found. He heads back down to his truck, grabs materials, goes back up to the roof, makes the needed repairs. Price was very competitive, which was better than most quotes that I got. Quote didn't include any plywood, but he threw in 2 plywood for free (only had to replace 6 plywood total, so paid for 4). We got our roof done during busy rainy season, so picking a date was a challenge. The project itself went well. On the first day of the tear down, I was surprised how fast and efficient the team worked. By the end of the day, roofing materials were already delivered, damaged plywood replaced and underlayment installed. They finished the project exactly on time, as they said they would. It's expensive and the workmanship quality is so important. As a result, I focused on Yelps trusted service providers. Immediately, I noticed that Reno's roofing had an excellent reputation. My experience was so fantastic. I want to share all of the details. First of all, this is the second time I've had to purchase a new roof in the last 10 years. I won't mention names, but the first time I went with one of the big box stores. I was not very satisfied with the entire experience. I will leave it at that. Reno's roofing has it down perfectly. The professionalism immediately stands out, they are organized, efficient, and every step of the way I felt as though I was in excellent hands. I'm talking about the initial phone interview, the gentleman who came out to do the quote, the workmen who performed the job and the steps in between on an administrative level. Specifically, the gentleman who came out to do the quote did the job so thoroughly I was immediately comforted.
