Let me start off by saying that I am new to Long Beach, NY and just purchased our first home with my wife. We were moving in with both sets of our parents and extended family in town for the weekend helping. On Saturday, one of our AC units stopped working! In a panic, I searched the web until I found V Vota Mechanical , and Vinny. I called the company and left a voicemail on Sunday morning at 8am, in 45 min I received a call back and Vinny set to come by that morning! By 10am, he had come out to our house, completely inspected our AC and Heating units, assessed what needed to be fixed (Flux capacitor.) Vinny Vota is definitely the guy you want for all your HVAC needs. He replaced an HVAC unit for me a few years after Sandy, as well as, fixed my other unit which was losing compression. He has a entertaining-medical way of explaining the mechanical situation, which totally works for me! He has detailed knowledge of various brands, their warranties, and provides suggestions for what would be best with your home. When my other unit was not blowing cold air, he came within the hour to add refrigerant. Really nice of him to do that being it was a Saturday and in mid-August. My home was cooled within the hour and I was able to have my Mom's birthday dinner that evening. I noticed that he doesn't charge extra for weekend or quick service calls. He is ALWAYS fair. Recently we used V Vota Mechanical to replace our original gas fired Boiler (had LILCO sticker) and 15-Year-old Hot Water Heater with a wall hung Gas Fired Combi Boiler. It is always a pleasure to deal with someone like Vinny. I had a burning smell coming from my Energy Kinetics boiler and Vinny was able to diagnose the problem after I sent him several pictures.
