Boba time in Colton was added to a predominantly Latin American demographic we have in Colton and it's become popular with the demographic because drinks are pretty sweet compared to more modern and new boba shops that places an emphasis on more stronger and less sweet boba drinks. For the health conscious person boba time is probably not the best but the tea and syrups are as good as quality as you're going to get compared to somewhere like LA MICHOACANA dessert chain which uses an ungodly amount of sugar for their deserts and refreshments. When going to a dessert place ask yourself are you paying for sugar?

A blended strawberry & cream was a smooth blend resembling an Italian ice sort of shake. The lychee butterfly tea with sea salt foam was a tad sweet I would maybe do 50% less sugar next time. But the flavor was nice and refreshing. The featured flavor was a nice Thai tea brown sugar with cold foam and boba. This was also a tad too sweet for my liking. I would maybe try it with less sweetness. It's a nice option to have customizations for individual tastes making each visit more enjoyable. The golden fish balls.. yes golden are a bit hot right when they come out. Be careful! It has a sort of glutinous rice chewy exterior with a juicy filling. It was actually pretty good. Definitely not a first date kinda food, more like yelpers wanting to be more adventurous kinda day. The fries were nice and crispy with the perfect spice level. Dips include a spice Thai, ranch or ketchup. They have a game shelf for guests to enjoy while sipping on their favorite drinks. Great to extend visit with some good laughs and entertainment. Even though we regularly frequented a Sunright location back home, this location actually feels like a local establishment. They know my partner's name and chat with him (when it isn't too busy) and have helped him through several online ordering issues. He's gotten to know way more of the bobaristas here than back home. The inside is a standard Sunright. This chain is very much grab n go style, often in quite small business locations. They decorate sometimes for the collab events, it's cute! Even though it's small it luckily gets to participate in most of the Sunright collabs (except that one bread collab).

The drinks are solid across the board, and I really appreciate that you can adjust the sweetness level, so it's easy to customize exactly how you like it. You can tell they use real tea and real ingredients, not just powders and cheap syrups like some other shops. The flavors taste clean and balanced, not artificial. They also have a good variety of toppings besides just boba, so if boba isn't your thing, you still have plenty of options. On top of drinks, they also serve food items, and I always get their bubble waffle with my boba--it's become part of the routine at this point.
