matte gel (just a polish change)

I think this place gets pretty busy based on their sign-in procedure and some signs they have about waiting, but I went right when it opened and only waited less than 10 min. I don't know her name but she did a great job and it was reasonably priced. They gave me a punch card, 4th manicure gets $5 off!

Went for the first time. Got seated within a short time. Went for a full set and the experience was pretty good. Love the back area to wash your hands, it's got a salt scrub that I was impressed with. When I tell you they have choices of colors, they have tons (I got mood changing Gel). Will be going again.

    The day of the incident

for a while I was coming here for convienience and the diversity of the staff. They do really great with the exception of one nail tech. Carmela or something like that. She doesn't understand when people express They are in pain, to stop doing what she's doing. I personally don't even want to go back due to the fact sometimes you have to get who you get Since it's so busy in there On Fridays. my toe currently is turning black due to her not understanding that I was in pain, and to leave the nail alone. It wasn't ingrown or hurting me, she caused more issues by trying to fix my toe while being nosey during a customer incident and wanted to play it off like it was my ingrown. My foot bled in that foot bath for about 30 minutes and she kept putting it in hot water. I said twice,(don't worry about painting my toes if it's bleeding) because I didn't want to cause any cross contamination with my blood. She glued my toe together after I suggested it, and it still was bleeding. Now my toe is black and I'm traumatized because I also nearly passed out. I was sweating a lot and asked for Water. That never happened before, she's overly rough and aggressive for no reason and that's what upset me about this. its going on a week and my toe looks worse and worse. I'm hoping I dont have to see a medical professional about this issue because I feel like escalating this further like Better Business or something. But it's just her, so I'm not going to crack down on it.

Did a good job. Nice selection of colors. Area isn't too great but cheap price for regular manicure $15 vs downtown

I had just an hour inbetween a family member's appointments at the cleveland clinic and needed to get my nails done quickly.

I love getting my nails done at Glossy! The staff are so friendly and sweet, booking is easy, and…read morethey have a wide range of colors, plus optional nail art that you can chose from. I think there's about 8 nail stations and 3 pedicure chairs. Glossy does not do dips or acrylics, they do regular polish and gel manicures with builder gel. The salon is super clean and does not smell like acrylic or any other chemical. I don't think I've ever been out in under 90 minutes, so you do need to make sure that you have time. The techs are pretty punctual. As some folks have said, there are only a few dedicated parking spots, but you can usually grab an easy street spot. I will say, much as I love it here, it's on the higher side for a manicure. It's definitely worth it, you don't feel crowded or rushed, and they do a really thorough job with your nails. I really love the builder gel, which does add time to the process, and that, of course, adds to the cost - my natural nails click obnoxiously like the girls with the acrylic extensions and I love it.

My appointment was at 7:00, but I got there a little early because I work just down the road and got off at 7:00. They have a few designated parking spaces on the side of the building, but they were taken. However, I found a super close street spot no problem. I walk in and the receptionist was so cheery and friendly. Offered me coffee of tea. My mom and I sat and discussed which color gel we wanted, whilst looking in their "glossary" of colors. They had SO many cute options. I went with a shimmery white because I wanted something festive, yet subtle, for a 4th of July wedding I was attending. My nail tech, Becky, was so warm and welcoming. Honestly, I was so comfortable with her, it was like we were longtime pals. My mom and sister said the same with their nail techs as well. This was such a great experience. It honestly felt like a little home with a little family.
