Great Experience !!! Everyone was so nice and worked very hard to get everything done. The reason I didn't rate 5 stars because of my toes. They only lasted a couple minutes from the chair to the dryer then outside I noticed a piece of polish came off my toe and my toes was ruined. Also i had alil polish on the side of the nail. I wish they could of dried my feet while i was sitting in the chair. Overall all i loved it! Great job! read more

I have never been to a nail salon did not use soap and water during a regular basic pedicure. Your nail tech was rushing for no reason because it was not busy. Therefore, I didn't enjoy my pedicure nor did I receive all that I should have with the classic pedicure. I different tech had to come over to polish my nails because the 1st lady was doing such a poor job... I also pay attention to how a certain demographic of clients were being treated differently. Absolutely the worst place I've ever been to get a manicure. I was a walk in for a gel manicure, there was no other customers there when I got there. I sat down and the technician working on my nails didn't speak a single hello or anything outside of asking for what color I would like. She proceeded to do a pretty subpar manicure followed by the worst technique for applying gel. She would do one or two nails and have them go under the light for a second then bring them back out and add more polish? They were bubbled up and looked terrible. Thankfully it did not go unnoticed and she started to remove the polish. She was scraping them off with a nail file and then would use such a fast setting with the buffer it would burn. I decided to just leave it at that and decided to leave. They wanted to charge me $18 for a regular manicure- no polish even though I was leaving with my nails looking like they did in the photos. My first time going and I only wanted a polish change. She did not take her time to get all of the old nail polish off then she proceeded to put at least 12 coats of polish which started to make a few of my toes look bad. I had to point out the toes that didn't look good and she tried to do a 13th coat!!! I told her to remove the polish and do it again which made it look better. I also had to point out some polish left on my skin. I'm wondering if it was because it was just a$10 polish change in her eyes but in mine it's still my hard earned money and I should receive quality service no matter how much I'm paying. Disappointed that I was charged $3.00 to clip my nails down after my initial appointment three weeks ago. Clipping and shaping should be part of a fill-in service. Additionally, $5.00 to replace a single nail is too much when the bulk individual of a nail tip cost is not even a $1.00. I went to this shop on 7/16/2021. I got a full set of nails and I got the deluxe pedicure which was $35.00. I do realize my feet needed extra attention since I had not had a commercial pedicure in 3 years. I got a regular set of nails gel,and polish PERIOD!! The absolute worst nail salon I've ever been in. Completely unsanitary. The pedicure tub was filthy. Poor customer service and communication. I was left with a cold towel on my legs for over 15 mins. First time going there for a pedicure. I don't get polish of any kind. Toes nails cut feet scrubbed. The sign on the walls says basic pedicure was $24. I sit in the chair and she shows me a plastic sheet of paper and tries to up sell me to a $40 services. I say NO and point to the service that now is $28. During the service she asked if I wanted my feet scrapped of dead skin? I said yes. She didn't dry my feet and legs very well and got up and walked to cash register. I am so disappointed by this location. The staff is so sweet, but the nails are done poorly. you're lucky if they get the right size on your nail. the gel and acrylic is a waste of money, don't get gels if you're getting the fake nails. stick with the acrylic, no point in spending an extra 14$ for a polish that's going to need to be filled in a week. i've never had acrylic nails chip on me, but i had six nails pop off in a time period of 5 days. yes. five days. and i got four of them replaced, hoping no more would pop off. when i lost the other two, i gave up and said screw it & ripped my other nails off, all without any pain. which means not enough glue was used, obviously. i will never go here again, and i rarely write reviews. but i am sad about wasting 44$ on a set of nails that came off in a week. read more

The pedicure is even bad. i had a man who was extremely rough. you have to pay extra if you want your feet scrubbed and ingrown removed. I'm just used to a more all inclusive service especially when you upgrade services. my nail tech is across town and I was looking for someth ing asap. I should have known. I'm very basic with my nails. Nothing fancy basic polish, no fill-in, no non-chip, just polish. However, I still like my nails to look nice and and because I'm not having some special service done then the technicians at V rush through. My very basic polish looks a hot mess. I could tell she was rushing and I even said, cover the nail, make it smooth and make sure you clean it up. The polish isn't smooth and it does not cover the entire nail, the polish is very uneven and the polish is on my skin. I could have done a better job! It looks very unprofessional. What did I just pay for?!? For the amount of time I waited, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome. Unfortunately, due to the poor lighting this is hard to determine inside of the nail salon otherwise I would have insisted on then taking the polish off and starting over!!! I will say this has been my experience at V more than once however, I was in a crunch and my hope was it will be okay, this time. It's hard to just mess up polish. This was my first visit here. They did a good job on my pedicure. But as far as my S&S nails. The nail tech was clueless. She ruin my nails, which my polish looked like sand paper once it dried. Please don't waste your time coming here. When you walk in you have to wait a few minutes before someone even addresses you. I've came here for an eyebrow wax and had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. The last time I tried to visit this nail salon was told they take their last client at 7 I was told I could go ahead and come and when I got there 15 minutes after 7 I was told they would not wax my eyebrows. After visiting numerous salons both in the small town of Covington/Conyers as well as nicer parts of Atlanta such as Buckhead & Virginia Highlands I've amassed quite a standard for nail places. I look for a respectable staff- one that speaks English preferably- clean surroundings- fair prices and a plethora of color choices - I prefer OPI & Essie brands over the others. V Nails leaves much to be desired- although the salon is decently clean- and color choices are good- the SERVICE sucks! I don't like salons where I'm forced to only see one person in order to get a good mani-pedi. I had to request my nails be done over- polish was on my cuticles it was thick & uneven and two of my nails were half painted. My cuticles were left dry & peeling and I felt I could have done a better job blind folded. On the second botched attempt- the polish was applied too thickly thus inhibiting proper drying time- after letting them fan dry for 45 minutes (the lady said to wait five) I still managed to "shift" and crinkle the polish in an attempt to get my keys out of my purse. I ended up scraping the nail polish off in the car which was still gummy and NOT DRY AFTER AN HOUR!! As with most things I find myself having to drive far to ensure quality. Ill never step foot inside of this place again! read more
