Well I have been going to Whiteheads since I was a teen and I'm 54 now, I saw Jim when he worked with his dad and watched him grow into an excellent mechanic just like his father. I saw Warren hand his business down to his son and my trust never wavered because before Warren handed it down to Jim, Jim was already doing great work on my car. And his mechanic Steve, what can I say about Steve? I had an old Dodge Caravan that made knocking noises when stepping on the gas or slowing down and on bumpy roads. I brought it to a mechanic I was using for awhile because he was inexpensive due to the fact he worked out of his garage at his home and had little overhead. He told me it was my struts and $380 later which was actually a great price for getting two struts down, and I drove it away and it still made the same noise. I said that's it I'm going back to Whitehead, I'd rather pay more and get it fixed the first time. So I brought it to Whitehead and Steve was the one I explained things to do he worked on my car. He calls me up in a couple of hours and says your all set. I said really? He said yeah noise is gone. I cringed and said what's the damage? He said $66. I ssid your kidding what was the problem? He says you had a broken motor mount and I was able to weld it back together. So if you want honesty and Quality work, Take it to Whitehead!

They had kept me in the loop on every detail as the day went on, but then...when I was expecting to pick up my car on the day before Christmas, they called me. Told me that they now felt that I didn't need the ignition control module, previously believed to be the problem. They removed the new part and reduced my cost by 50%!!! Needless to say, I was devastated. Had to make a hit and run claim because the neighbor would not admit anything, even though the paint transfer on the door and rust on the ground were 100% from her car. My appraiser recommended Classic, so I called and made an appointment. When I went there on a Wednesday, Tony said to bring it in on Monday so I wasn't wasting my rental while they researched doors and also the weekend passing. I thought that was very considerate of him! Dropped it off on the Monday at about 8:15am, and they set up the rental. Got picked up and had my rental and was at work by 9am. Not bad! I mentioned to Tony that there was a preexisting scratch on the hood and on the bumper that I would like a quote for. He said don't worry, we'll take care of you. The car was ready Thursday afternoon, and I picked it up on Friday. As soon as I saw it, it was like a weight had been lifted. The new door looked and worked perfectly, and the paint was an exact match. You would never know that it was new! Also, I couldn't find the scratch on the hood and bumper! They gave me a great price on the extra work I had them do, and it looks like it just rolled out of the factory. All in all, they took an awful situation and made it into a GREAT experience. Tony and Jimmy take pride in their work and their customers and it shows. I've never had this kind of experience with a mechanic or auto body shop before, and I will definitely come back in the future, and I'm telling all my friends and family! Thanks guys!
