Young person (Coby), along with her mother, standing behind the counter is nice until you, a customer, have paid the bill and realized they damaged the side panel of your car beneath the front passenger door--right where the car is put on lift. First it was the denial that it could not happen in their garage. If you insisted that the small dent looking fresh and was not there until you pulled in; and requested that they acknowledged it could have happened in their garage. To no avail, you leave and directly go to a body shop to find out if the damage was new and could be caused as the car was put on the lift. With the preliminary estimate of the damage, almost $1,200.00, and the verification by the bodyshop that it could very likely happen as the garage put the car on lift, you return to East Coast Tire and show the young person and mother the estimate and convey the bodyshop's assessment. The young person suddenly and unexpectedly becomes irate and, with a foming mouth, repeatedly asks you in the foulest language to leave; and with a quick jurky motion and his stature advances towards you. As you hold your position, the mother attempts to hold back Coby. They then call Gloucester Police to have you be removed from the premises. Now, you humiliated with a big knot in your stomach end up with no option left other than seeking an arduous, yet uncertain legal action.

Had a routine oil change on 4/13/26 only to find several days later that my car was leaking oil (took about 10 days before the warning light came on) due to being stuck out of town I was unable to get it back to them until Friday afternoon 4/24. I was told that the oil plug was stripped (due to being over tightened during the last change) and that they wouldn't be able to take care of this until monday, they would either have to fit an oversized plug or replace the entire pan. The pan replacement was likely to cost me at least $1000. For a part that they broke during my oil change. I was also given a hard time about taking a loaner car, as it's their policy not to lend one out unless I agreed to any service that was needed. As I didn't have a choice (I had to get to work) I said yes. I won't even get into the quality of the loaner car. I called first thing in the morning on Monday after looking into possible options for repair myself over the weekend only to be told that it was done and I should come and get it. They fitted an oversized plug and it was done. Well, it wasn't done. My car was leaking oil immediately after getting it home. faster than before. And as I had already been burned twice by FCC's less than quality work I took it to the dealership, who sent me a video of the oil leaking from their "fix". And the pan had been drilled out so poorly to place the oversized plug that the dealership was unable to salvage the pan.

I've been going to them since 1979 without issue, and if they should make a mistake thet always…read moremake good on it. I would not go anywhere else for general maintenance, tires, brakes Etc.. Bill S.
