It's pretty sad that the first contact you have are with these unfriendly faces. Some of the policies, I will assume that Dr Farr knows of, make no sense. Making an appointment is not fun - you get sent a text message and "request" an appointment. After several days, you still need to call the office, if you can get anyone to answer the phone to make the appointment. Send an email - no response. Communication is not very good. The care providers however are great, listen to concerns and spend more than a few minutes with you.

I called to inquire about becoming a new patient, but I was immediately placed on hold, and my call was disconnected twice before I even had the opportunity to ask a question. When I finally spoke with someone and mentioned that my call had been disconnected twice, the woman responded in a very rude and snarky tone, stating that they were busy and that was why I had been placed on hold. I understand that medical offices get busy, but that is no excuse for poor customer service. I then explained that I was interested in scheduling an appointment with Dr. Del Toro Diaz, only to be told abruptly, "We aren't taking new patients." I responded, "Well, maybe that's a good thing for me," and ended the call. It's unfortunate because I was looking forward to possibly establishing care here. We transitioned over to Dr. Deltoro-Diaz and I was very appreciative of the type of care she provides. Since a teen I struggled with weight issues and even had weight loss surgery 2001, so when I had to move to a new doctor, all of the unpleasantness came into play. I always hated when a doctor would not listen to what I am going through but with Dr. Deltoro-Diaz, she listened and talk through it all. Besides my doctor, the staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming. It wasn't until recently that one of the staff just didn't seem motivated to answer some questions I had regarding my insurance and authorizations. When it comes to ones own health, you cannot tread lightly with it and when it comes to your wife and kids, you want the very best care possible. The girls in the front are the sweetest. The only downside is that they're always BUSY. If you're a walk in you need to be there by 7:30am and (hopefully) you'll be able to be seen before noon. My husband also started seeing him 10 years ago as well as other friends we have referred. Dr. Campbell is thorough and knowledgeable and does a great job with senior citizens like us. He does not hesitate to refer us to specialists if the need arises. He got me to a hematologist, a rheumatologist, pain management, orthopedist, and mental health. He is really good about checking on lab work and meds. I don't like going to the doctor, but from day one I have been comfortable keeping my appointments with him. I am glad he hasn't retired yet!
