No work interference! Plus the location was easy to find and not far off I-64, which was convenient. I checked in at my specified arrival time, paid, and sat down. Not more than 30 seconds later, the tech called my name, asked me the requisite questions, and got me set up with a gown. Then another person called me over to insert the IV for contrast. Both folks were very pleasant and personable, keeping light chatter throughout the process. The MRI tech was great as well, and she checked in throughout the scan to make sure I was okay and to tell me how much longer I had to go. I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend them to others. Thanks for a positive experience from start to finish!

They were kind, respectful, efficient and friendly. Registration was a breeze. I hope to not have any more visits there, but if I need to see an ER doctor I know where to go. Thanks guys. My 10-year-old son sustained a concussion diagnosed in the ER. Our pediatrician, Dr. Sinha, referred us here specifically for an evening appointment so she could review the imaging disc, assess his condition, and complete required school clearance forms. We waited nearly two weeks for this Friday evening scan. Earlier in the week, an office staff member called regarding insurance. During a standard renewal gap, his caseworker confirmed and documented in writing that medical claims during this window bill directly to the state. I immediately emailed the caseworker documentation directly to the staff member so their billing department had full transparency. The office never replied or communicated any issue. I rushed from work through heavy traffic with my concussed child, only to face pure chaos at the front desk: 1. Unilateral cancellation: The receptionist ignored us in an empty lobby, looked confused, and sneered, "Oh, he has Medicaid." She announced someone called at 9:00 AM and canceled his scan. I received zero calls and zero voicemails. 2. Disregarding official confirmation: When I showed the official text message sent by their system confirming our appointment, she dismissed it with contempt, stating it was just an automated computer text and not from them. 3. Lack of accountability: When I showed the email proving I sent the state paperwork days prior, she brushed it off, claiming multiple staff share that name, and claimed the authorization was still pending after sitting on the file for two weeks. 4. Shifting blame and demanding out-of-pocket cash: She tried to insist that I must call the pediatrician's office to resolve their authorization before they would squeeze us in. When her conflicting excuses collapsed, she stated that if we could not wait, we could pay six hundred dollars out of pocket on the spot. To cancel a concussed child's brain scan without notice, contradict official confirmations, dismiss written records, and demand hundreds of dollars in cash is completely unacceptable. We walked out and will never return. I am notifying Dr. Sinha's practice so they remove this facility from their referral list immediately.

Urgent Care does not take outside doctor's orders. So I called Carilion Crystal Springs Imaging. The phone manager listened and wanted to make sure I got the correct answer so she sent my call to the x-ray technician, Lisa. This lady was professional, knew protocol, was kind and confidence-instilling. Lisa is IT.....this is patient care. Within 3 hours after I called her, she had our doctor's order from another office in another city, my husband's x-ray was done and faxed to the ordering office and we had the emailed results as well. Kind and Good are the words that label this visit. I don't always leave the hospital feeling that way. Thank you, Lisa.

The nurses and doctors are very compassionate. They take the to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. We have always been pleased with the service we received here. The wait times have been much better than other urgent cares in the area.

I have horrible medical anxiety and I loved how the visit went. Wait time wasn't horrible either, it was my first time there, all in all probably an hour but I never go in any urgent care expecting to be seen immediately, personally. i came in and had an mri done through uva imaging in febuary of 2026. i was treated kindly and exam…read morewas done in a reasonable time. my issue is with their billing department. after having my exam done in febuary, i received a bill for $812.18 in september 2026. the funny thing is, i have two insurances, primary & secondary. primary covered $2,432.27 and their was an adjudgement of $ 572.55, leaving $812.18, which uva imaging billed me for. when i reached out to uva imaging, i was told that secondary insurance paid nothing and i needed to call them. so, i did! my secondary insurance said they paid that bill and gave me a number to give uva imaging if they have any issues. after that i then called uva imaging again to let them know what the secondary insurance said and they said no, that they denied it and needed more information. so, they resubmitted the claim to secondary. what upsets me the most is that if you don't reach out and do the work yourself you will be stuck with a bill you shouldn't had to pay!!!!! so, please pay attention to these matters because the company who is making money off of you, uva imaging, won't do the leg work, you have to!!!!!!!!
