She is thoughtful in her approach and always willing to tweak and try new things to perfect her practice. She is open to exploring different treatments with each of her clients, but never pushes anything. Amy is clearly dedicated to increasing her knowledge base, which is a giant green flag for anyone working in the health and skincare realms! Amy took the time to help me create a "wedding treatment plan" in preparation for my June wedding, and I'm already so impressed by my skin (and it's only February). Charlottesville Plastic Surgery is truly the go-to place in Charlottesville for all your skincare needs.

I had such a positive experience in all aspects of care!! Pleasant and helpful staff to greet me and get me signed in, excellent and friendly nurses, anesthesiologists and doctors to make the scary surgery experience as positive as possible. I was so thankful to be in the new facilities, with people that clearly cared about the work they do! Finally, I'll add the business office has been extremely helpful with my insurance being slow to pay and delaying. Highly recommend this hospital.

I had previously had a horrible experience in another hospital and was very frightened, but the people at Augusta soothed my fears. Love this place!! As…read morea new mom, I'm worried about everything. I mean everything. The doctor's here have eased my mind at every visit. Dr. Boersma is the best. You can tell how much she (and all the doctors that I've seen) truly care about your children. She specifically is super educational. When she was talking to me about first feeding my baby solids, she gave me a whole background on why she thought it might be good to start at the time she recommended. I appreciated that so much. She always explains things a lot and makes it more understandable for me as the parent. Plus, she's caring, fun, and makes me feel at ease and comfortable. Let me just say I am wary of doctors. I don't know why and I don't know where it came from, but I just am not one to take the doctor's advice without any resistance or questioning. Though I've only been a parent for less than half a year, I have never felt resistant to the advice of the doctor's here, especially Dr. Boersma who I see the most. I just feel like they know what they are doing, they are caring, they don't make me feel stupid for asking questions, and they make me feel comfortable. All good things. When it comes to offices, I've been to both the Crozet and main Rio office. I definitely love the Crozet office best. It's so nice that there is really only one doctor at a time (except during walk in hours) so the waiting room is never crowded and the wait usually isn't long. This is nice, because I know I'm not going to be sitting in a room of sick kids just for a well check. Overall, highly, highly, highly recommend and especially recommend Dr. Boersma (if you couldn't tell)!

Since being acquired by Trusted Doctors, their office staff has been nothing short of a nightmare…read more After being patients for close to 10 years, they put all of our children to "inactive" status when there was a problem on their end with billing and insurance, even after we had done our due diligence to fix the problem. They provided no further communication that there was an ongoing issue, and we were surprised to find we were unable to make an appointment for our sick child when she needed to be seen. The providers are wonderful. The front office and billing staff is the worst I've ever experienced. I would not choose them to provide care based on the wall of problems we've run into since their acquisition. Sad, since they used to be wonderful.
