Arrived and called at 11:44. Was on hold for 14 minutes so I hung up and called back figuring they'd forgotten I was on hold. Q (lady who answered the first time) answered again and I told her my name and appt time. She said my appt was cancelled bc I arrived late (after 10 min it's cancelled). I politely said I'd been on hold for over ten mins and wasn't late. Q said, "oh I know I put you on hold but it was only a few minutes ago" with attitude. I offered to show her my phone that it was 14 min if I could just please keep my appt. Feeling terrible and desperate to be seen. Nope, couldn't. No empathy or sorry, just attitude. Called the nurses line and by that point the provider had left.... I feel horrible, have three sick kids at home, and have been a patient for nearly 40 years. Spent hours of my life waiting while they're running late. Treated like crap when I needed to be seen most when I have the flu. Done with them.

She is the BEST DOCTOR I've ever had and that is saying a lot because I have a couple of chronic conditions and have seen literally more than 200 doctors! She listens patiently, discusses your illness or disease and its likely course, then discusses the options with you. With me, I feel like I go in to see her, tell how I feel and what my symptoms are, she asks a few clarifying questions and exams me, then she tells me what's wrong and discusses with me how to make it feel better and get better. She is willing to change directions when something is not working and she is also willing to "try it your way" when you come in with thoughts and ideas for a treatment plan that you want to try (as long as it it safe), even if it is not the approach that she would normally advise. She will tell you when you need more advanced or specialized care than she can provide in her office and will refer you to an appropriate specialist. She is always open and honest with her patients. Her office staff are all professional, efficient, and kind. I highly recommend her! If she is not available, Dr. Kurtis Elward, another doctor in that same practice, is also very good.

Mackie, a specialist here, did an evaluation of general structural imbalances in my posture, then proscribed a series of exercises. It didn't come cheap and felt a lot like PT, so I was skeptical as I left the country. However, within a few days, I noticed a reduction in pain. Months later, I can say for sure that these exercises have made a huge difference in my day-to-day comfort. And for follow-up sessions, Mackie has been very helpful in working with the distance to continue treatment to proscribe new exercises as needed. If you're in pain, give them a try.
