After telling me it's just a scar with scar tissue but really not offering any reasoning for it he proceeded to leave the room and without any eye contact asked me while walking out if there were any "moles on my back I would liked checked also"....I felt like I was just a waste of time in his day.

The staffing is pretty decent with lot of float pool nurse filling in the shortage gap. The nurse to patient ratio of 1:4 is nice, the hospital has a lot of resources to help the staff, and the cafeteria offer a diverse range of food. Many staff ride bike on campus so there are a lot of bike rack area to store your ride. Staff have to park off site and take a bus to the main hospital. It annoying that during the football season staff have to park somewhere else or risk getting ticketed/towed. All in all, a pretty good place to work at.

Relative to other ED & urgent cares i felt the wait was minimal. They have lots of exam rooms, staff who are talented and multi-taskers make this an efficiently run UC. I worked for a hospital and my primary doc is also an urgent care in another city, I've waited 4x longer in those settings. I thought the care and time i received was very good. They have all that was needed for my assessments, xray, EKG, breathing treatments. Only thing i didn't clearly get one of the meds i requested but that was extra. The waiting room is large, so sickies weren't coughing on you. It wasnt that busy so it was comfortable. The doc or PA cant remember which, was thorough, explained things well and i didn't feel rushed. They give you your prescriptions to hand carry to a pharmacy. Went to a Wegmans which had a "special" if you never filled at that soecific store, each Rx up to 5, they give you $10 to use anywhere in the store, how awesome. Anyway i would recommend this location. The only thing they said i would have to go to an ED like Martha Jefferson Sentara if i got worse and needed IV antibiotics, so lets pray i don't want to do that review if i dont need to!

There is a nurse named Debbie H. that is so nasty still cant figure out why she even wanted to be a nurse the first place. She will try to scare you and threaten you with falsehoods and you have to do your research and homework to uphold your rights. There is a female named April in the office that is not capable of having a conversation without yelling at you-she is very unprofessional. We asked the nurses to please wear gloves when handling the PICC they would not. They say that they wash hands so we watched them and they did not. They drop stuff on the dirty floor and just pick it up and use it without washing -etc. Unprofessional and unfriendly staff. There are a few exceptions we will not include their names because we now believe that if you do then the nasty ones will retaliate on the few good ones. They would not give us the contact information for the ownership.
