The menu is short and sweet, speaking of sweet bring your sweetner since only raw sugar is on offer here *insert joke about T&S being sweet enough*. Having lunch with some friends I grabbed a large coffee which was hella large, hella yummy and hella quick. They tried the BLT (of which I nicked the cheeky eggs on the side) both simple and delicious whilst the steak snaga with caramelised onions, the special of the day, really dazzled. Really cool venue again heed warning if you're super duper picky as the menu is pretty thin. Best for a bright sunny day, with a coffee and paper on hand.

She acted as though it was my fault she took it in the first place! Strange. Then, they brought out the first meal (Chic n' Cheese Omelette) and went to take the number yet again! I said we still had another meal supposed to be coming...the waitress seemed to have no idea. We told her the dish (Specialty McFifty3 Muffin) and she said she would go and check the order. No apologies. We definitely paid for two meals! Anyway, they HAD forgotten it and went off to make a rushed version of the dish which was no where near as delicious and fancy as they made it sound on the menu. I give this place 3/5, as the coffee is fantastic, the omelette was fairly tasty and maybe the waitress was just having a bad day. It has left me with a sour taste in my mouth however, but I most likely would still return for their coffee. Fifty3 has potential to be a great, quirky cafe in the heart of a shopping centre, but I think some of the staff need to remember the basics of customer service! Dear Daisy occupies the space left by the Leah St Deli and is right on the tram line next to the Forestville tram stop next to the hairdressers. I've popped in and out of here a number of times for coffee and have been most satisfied with smooth flat whites and spicy long blacks and am always pleased with the sparkly service and cheery staff. The menu here is catered to the breakfast/brunch crew (all day breakfast, huzzah!) but Dear Daisy is developing a great lunch menu. The selection features all your standards for brekkie and lunch has a mix of wraps and rolls as well as some great specials (pulled pork buns, zucchini fritters anyone?) and over the past week since its opened I've seen the menu change and evolve. Lunching here I had a pulled pork bun with coleslaw with potato salad on the side, the pork was soft and tender and the potato salad had pickles (yay!) with yumminess all round. Pricing is quite reasonable and on the cheap side for the Goodwood area. It has a modern fit out in blue tones and floor to ceiling glass panels curve the corner of the cafe (see photo) allowing natural light to flood the space. The menu is extensive - a large, double-sided laminated sheet offers pastas, risottos, pizza, a good range of salads and plenty of sweet treats for after your meal. You order your food and drink at the counter and meals are delivered to your table. The service is fairly prompt, but I've got the impression the young staff can't wait for their shift to finish. Coffee is good and I sometimes grab a takeaway from here if Mooi's (cafe in the middle of the Mitcham Shopping Centre) is closed. (Soy milk is Vitasoy Cafe) They also do a movie meal deal which is well priced.
