My mother had been detoxing and she has heart failure and kidney failure. I was extremely concerned with her being in hospice rather than getting the correct medical treatment. No one would listen to me. My mother has survived being put on hospice now four time. A security guard with the name Eric demanded that I delete the pictures and audio recordings of my mother health care or be barred for 24 hours. I said, No! I'm deleting anything from my phone. i asked to file a complaint with Sheila, my mothers patient advocate. Sheila demanded that I must delete the recording and pictures as well. I said no! Three days had passed so i was in the hospital and Juan the security guard pulled me from my dying mothers room and demanded that I was criminally trespassing and I not be on the property for 365 days now. I was escorted from the property like I was a criminal. The entire time my mother was in the hospital she was not getting the right care, I was forced from the hospital by security guards that my mother was in. Juan, Sheila and Eric destroyed what could have been something special to be able to spend the last days with my dying mother. Instead our family will always have the memory of Juan, Eric and Sheila enforcing a policy the hospital does not have just to prove their authority over common citizens such as myself. Dutung the two week period I begged over and over please show me this policy that says an individual can be criminally trespass from the property for not deleting a picture. Sheila explained to me that all policy are internal and can be given to anyone. How can a hospital security team enforce a policy that is not shared publicly due to internal policy? Hie many policies have been violated while enforcing a policy that can not be shared publicly?

I went to the Orem Community Hospital Emergency Room yesterday morning at the request of my dentist…read morebecause I have a severely infected tooth, a visibly huge and swollen cheek, and so much pain, OTC meds weren't touching it so I was forced to take my back pain meds (which still didn't take the pain away,) as well as a fever of 103.4 earlier in the morning. My dentist thought I should go to the ER for IV antibiotics for fear that my tooth infection had turned into something much more serious because the antibiotics he gave me weren't working. The admitting person was a sweetheart as was the male nurse; both compassionate, empathetic, and kind. The doctor came in and made me feel foolish and idiotic for going to the ER for 'simple' tooth pain, actually pulling faces at the mention of a dentist sending someone to the ER, and rolling her eyes. THEN, when she seemingly, finally decided to figure out exactly what was going on, she sat down in front of me and said, "Hon, tell me what is going on. How did this happen?" All I could think was, are you serious?? I mean look at my ginormous, pink cheek, lady!! She talked to me as if I were a child and was extremely condescending. I just felt stupid and wanted to leave and go to a different ER but I had an IV at that point (for blood tests, mind you, not antibiotics). Then she sent me in for CT scans of my face to make certain that the infection hadn't spread anywhere dangerous, finally taking my issue seriously. She didn't give me the IV antibiotics for the severe infection, she simply 'upped' my antibiotic (from the one the dentist gave me) to a stronger one. How hard would it have been to simply give me even just a injection of stronger antibiotics?? Or better still, through the IV that was already in my arm?!? Then, she numbed my tooth to take away some of the pain, which it did, for about 30 minutes when the pain came back with a vengeance. I feel like the doctor didn't like being told what to do from a measly dentist, or God forbid, me, and didn't do the antibiotics out of sheer stubbornness and pride. No, I did not go to medical school, I am not a doctor and will not pretend to know how to heal someone in the way a doctor can. I do know my body and knew something was wrong. I also know empathy, which this doctor didn't seem to posses, nor, really, did the female nurse who just acted like it was an inconvenience for me to be there. I went to this ER with the hopes of having some relief from my pain and severe infection. I left feeling stupid for going in the first place. There was no empathy, compassion, or even patience from this doctor. I know there are other doctors working at the Orem Community Hospital's ER, some with likely more empathy than was shown me, but I will *never* chance that again. I will drive the extra several miles to AF Hospital's ER where they are kind, respectful, and even humble enough to listen.

They didn't ask after either. I got a statement in the mail with a paystub and a return envelope. I made a payment(what I could). I am on social security with no other income. The next month I got another statement, made the same payment, did this for 4 months then SLAM. They SLAMMED me into collections for the rest. No notice to call, no call, nothing said letting me know the payments I made were not good enough or that I needed to call, nothing just SLAM me into collections, granted my fico score is in the toilet anyway and I don't care because I pay cash for everything. I will never use this facility for anything ever again.

However, there are billing problems EVERY SINGLE TIME I use Revere at any location. I have primary and secondary insurance. I got notification that I owed a balance, which I should not, since the secondary insurance pays whatever is left after the primary pays. I called billing and they said they were unable to reach my supplemental insurance company. I called the insurance company and got through to an actual human right away. I called the hospital billing department back and told them what number to call, and to wait to talk to a human. I will wait a few days to see if they get it straightened out. I am concerned, because I am scheduled to have the other knee replaced next month, and do not want this hanging over me when I go for that procedure. What the heck, Revere? I was told they had checked on my insurance and I hadn't met my deductible so I was responsible for the full amount. I agreed to the terms to receive the discount and paid the amount ahead of the scan. There were no complications or issues. A month later I received a bill for more than I had already paid. I contacted the hospital and they said the original quote was only an estimate and the procedure cost was actually more than double what I was quoted. After disputing it with a manager (Matt) I still ended up paying a substantial amount more. Very unfair practice in my opinion. I would not have had the scan done had the cost been accurately quoted to me originally.

I am only leaving 1 star because I did have many great nurses, physical therapist and occupational…read more therapist. But if it wasn't for that I would leave 0 starts because of the Way my wife was treated by the administrator Ruben Jessep, Codi Fitzwater and a night Administrator. It was disgusting and uncalled for. When someone's spouse, mother or father tells you that their loved one is not in the right mind to make dicission they are right and you should listen, not try to tell them that they are wrong and you know better because you talked to them for a few minutes or for few days (at the most an hour) (Codi) and make money. There is so much more I could say about how awful you were to my wife. Yes there were good nurses and therapist but if you want a place that is going to treat your spouse, mother, father or caretaker that has been taking care of you for free because they love and know you, this is not it. I did not ask or want my wife to get kicked ou like you did, I did not want her to not get important information about me or any of the other crap you did and caused. If I didn't have a strong marriage you could have ruined it by lying to a very sick man and worse what you did to my wife. This hospital is not for people that have longterm caretakers for years because they will just get thrown aside, lied to and worse. You people I mentioned and the night administration should be ashamed of yourselves. And yes I've read my wife's review and correspondents with codi where she lied more. Again 0 starts except for some nurses and therapists. You could have very easily ruined a 10 year marriage over your lies and caused problems with my Gas, pipes and plumbing if it wasn't for my amazing wife and in your words it wasn't your problem

He doesnt understand what is going on most of the time or what he is saying. And even worse him mom suddenly passed. Yesterday he started taking it out on me (his wife of 10 years) march 17th . he told them things that were not true , it was obvious they knee they wernt true, he is in such a messed up state he told them he didnt want me going into his room so i cant even say goodbye to my very sick husbsnd. He also wants me out of our house before he gets relased and i cant even see if he is thinking better because they wont let me see him or talk to him. This place ruined my 10 year marriage knowing the paitent isnt with it yet A lot if not most of the time. Dont let them ruin yours. The hospital admin also harassed me, was very rude to me, chased me, threatened to call the cops and a womans sheltter knowing i had someone coming to pick me up and i was trying to wait quietly by myself. I have been my husbands care giver for about 10 years and know what is and isnt normal for him. I tried to tell them his actions were not normal and getting worse. Someone came in for a few minutes and asked him some very simple questions , including simple subtraction. He has always been amazing at math yet couldnt do them or many orher things ans yet again i was told he was fine. Though he couldnt do those or even remember names and doses of medications he had been on for years and has always known. Thete were a few gteat nurses but this was one of the worst expierences of my life all because they thought that they knew more in a few minutes then i have in years, didnt do anything to help when they were told many times somthing was wrong. Now we are in a horrible situation. Not only that but a Dr didnt come in once the entire almost week i was there before being chased, harassed, threatened and forced to leave. They also tried to give him medication he can not have and food he can not have while i was there and now im worried that they might now im not there. It was alot worse and there isva lot more i could say but its late. There was a wonderful night nurse that could see the issues he has been having and tried to help. But i would be very leary leaving a loved one there and knoeing they are safe or that you as the long time care giver will be listened to or treated with any respect!

All the nurses were so attentive in Labor & Delivery. Everything was honestly as it should be. I also had to take our newborn to the Lab downstairs for a couple heal pricks and it was easy to find, in and out within a couple mins. I also really liked the little cafe they had downstairs.
