Horrible, unethical Dr. came in on a Saturday to have an x-ray of my son's wrist. It's two days later and Dr Gibby has still not read my son's X-ray. If you offer x-ray service on a weekend it should be read on that same day! Never experienced anything like this in my life. This Dr is happy to take your money for no actual result. I sent the pic of my son's wrist to my sister in law who is a Rad tech in California. She and her coworkers were appalled that an x-ray of the entire hand was taken and not focused on the wrist. Even the techs here are a joke. Utah healthcare is the absolute worst. Going to another facility where the radiologist actually does his job. read more

While I didn't get good news while I was there I still liked my experience. I visited them on my Drs recommendation to have yearly routine tests done. The Radiologist who was on site read my scans and came right in to explain things to me. He looked 20 but took all the time I needed and explained in great detail. Do not go here. terrible. doctor was super rude She didn't care about anything I was saying. she rolled her eyes at me multiple times while I was telling her why I was there. The phlebotomist came in to draw my blood and she had no idea what she was doing. I have been a phlebotomist for the last 2 years and I had to teach her how to draw blood she said that no one really trained her at all. read more

0 stars should be an option. I had an appt Friday morning for a covid test. I sat in my car in their basement garage in the dark for 30 minutes before I knew what was going on. I felt like I was selling a kidney on the black market. CT machine was not working so I went home after sitting in my car for 40 minutes. Their tech guy was going to fix the machine, so I called them 3 hours later to check on the status, and the best they could do was Monday morning. Thanks for the update. Doctor Fjeldsted and his team are super efficient, thorough, and really listen to me when I come in. Even when they are busy, I am quickly helped and cared for! HORRIBLE !!!! I would've been better off going to the emergency room. Definitely not coming back and I wouldn't recommend it either. I went in for a really bad sore throat, chills, headache and it turns out I had some fluid on both ears. The doctor on duty didn't want to prescribe any medication and told me to continue taking NyQuil/DayQuil called the next day for results on a strep test and nothing, called today Friday and still nothing... ‍‍‍ I feel like I got worse and now my left ear hurts. read more

After 21 days of waiting to hear back about test results, we had to call back and were told, "Well, I thought I called you." Obviously their patients are not a priority here. Record-keeping isn't a priority either, as when we called, we had to recount everything that we had told the doctor previously. Although the symptoms described several possible problems, only one test was performed for one specific condition. We were invited to return for another test - of course, so we could pay again. Like another reviewer's experience, the doctor didn't explain what he would do before anything happened. He invited the nurse in and then explained the procedure to her step-by-step, as she apparently had no experience. Again, like other reviewers have said, the doctor was very condescending, arrogant, and judgmental. The nurse at the front desk didn't know whether or not our insurance would be accepted, and didn't know how to find out. As we were leaving, the doctor followed us out to the lobby and began talking to the nurse at the front desk. He started explaining our entire visit IN THE LOBBY, in a loud enough voice that we could hear him clearly as we walked out the door. There is a huge lack of respect for patient privacy, a lack of respect, and a lack of professionalism. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I wouldn't recommend it. The procedure was fine but the staff, rude. I did not receive my billing letters that they say they sent out. Which I understand can happen sometimes. But I also did not receive a phone call or voicemail before finding out that they had sent a $100 bill to collections. I gave them a call to ask what happened and the lady at billing was incredibly rude and unempathetic. She told me to call the agency and that there is nothing she will do and was not kind about it. If I could give zero stars I would. I took my mother here for an ultrasound for a possible blood clot. While we were in the waiting room there was one other patient, his doctor came out and started discussing his private medical information where I could clearly hear him. After waiting in the exam room for more than hour past our scheduled appointment (keep in mind there was only one other patient there) I asked how much longer we would be waiting. They didn't even know we were back there. I actually startled the nurse when I came out of the room because they had forgotten we were there. When doctor Gibby finally came in I asked him if it normally took more than an hour after a set appointment to be seen. My asking this clearly offended him because he told me I was welcome to wait in the waiting room. I declined and he began the exam. My 2yr old was with me and was talking, as babies do, when Dr Gibby told us to leave. I gathered my things and said we were here to support my mother. When I left the room he told my mother, some support she was. We will never go back here. read more

My wife was seen for an MRI and now she is in extreme pain (24 hours later) but the doctor can't be bothered to even see her. She called his office promptly at 8am (when it opens) only to have the receptionist tell her he was not in...two hours later he finally shows up but only because he had an appointment. She called his office at least 4 times in the two hours and his receptionist didn't even bother to contact him or if she did he didn't care that he had injured a patient and couldn't care less about helping her. Do not go here if you can in anyway avoid it!! read more

They we're quick, kind, and efficient. My mom lives next door at Jamestown. Shehad cut her leg, and they took care of her and then followed up over the next week until she healed. Don't listen to the grumpy complainers. I suspect they think everyone treats them unkindly and cheats them. Drs Gibby performed a rather sophisticated, technical, and lengthy procedure on me and I am VERY pleased with the results. The equipment was new and modern. Dr Wendell Gibby's two sons (also Interventional radiologists) gave me a very thorough consult the week before to put me at ease. A nurse was at my side the whole time making me comfortable and safe. They contacted me twice at home after the procedure to see how I was recovering. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone and I have. read more

It was so much nicer, faster and easier than going through the check-in procedures at the hospitals. The radiologist came right in and talked to me about the results of the scan--top notch service! I have always had a great experience when going to blue rock medical. They always get me in right away without an appointment and are very prompt. I don't think that I have waited more then 10 minutes. Before going back to a room. The doctors are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are much cheaper than going to the IHC urgent care. My mother has had a rough year. First, she tripped, flour, and broke her hip on Black Friday. She worked hard and was getting around better than anyone thought she would. Then in April she bent down to pick something up and hurt her back. She was in excruciating pain and was taken to the emergency room in Arizona. They couldn't see anything wrong and told her to go home and take some ibuprofen. My Mom was a CNA for many years and knew something more was wrong. They careful he drove her to Utah so that I could take her to see Dr. Wendell Gibby at Blue Rock Medical. He took a look at her MRI and saw a compression fracture in her spine along with some disc herniations. Dr Gibby was very kind and spent time explaining everything to her. He recommended a lumbar epidural steroid injection. It began helping her within a few days and she was able to start getting around. She was so happy to be relieved of pain and it gave her back time to start healing. She calls Dr. Gibby her miracle worker!! read more

Definitely do not recommend. They overbilled me for the visit and when I called and asked why it was more than twice the estimate, the person I spoke to (her name was Pam) was incredibly rude. She did end up charging me the original estimate (and lowering my bill) but was so rude and condescending during our phone call that I hung up feeling angry and upset. I love Riverwoods Imaging. Every time I come in the office I am immediately greeted by the friendly front desk staff. The wait is never long even when the office looks like it should be!! I love Beth and her staff in the back they are always so caring and make sure that I have a great experience. They also send a thank you card each time I come to visit. Dr. Gibby has been a great doctor. He is so kind and makes sure I understand what the process is before we even get started. I really recommend going here!! I recently went to Blue Rock Medical Center after I was in a car accident. The doctor and nurse were excellent! Barry went over everything thoroughly and was very friendly and personable. The billing/front office is what killed it! I just needed an itemized receipt to send in to get reimbursed. They refused to give me a receipt until my health insurance paid. I informed them that my health insurance would not pay them, because it was from an automobile accident. The girl I spoke to in billing was very condescending and rude. She wouldn't stop talking to even listen to what I needed. I still have no receipt. I am an office manager in another health institute and know how these things work. This was crazy. Not sure if I will go back there. Liked the care and doctor, but the billing staff was terrible. read more
