2nd time having issues here now…read more I specifically requested an AC diagnostic and explained upfront that I had already replaced the compressor, had the system charged the day before, and that a full leak/pressure test had already been performed. Instead of moving forward with a true diagnostic, they repeated the exact same service (discharge and recharge) that had just been done, and then charged me $285 for it. In the end, I'm back to square one--still not knowing what's wrong with my AC, but now out the money for a redundant service I did not need. To make it worse, I was told I'd need to pay even more for a diagnostic... which is what I had asked for in the first place. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. Be careful coming here for service and make sure they're clear on what you're requesting, or you may end up paying twice without answers. Always ask for Donny. He is awesome! Even after buying new cars, I come back to Discount Tire to check the wear and be honest about what my car actually needs (not just be upsold at the dealership). The certificates are always worth it! You never know when something is going to happen to your tire. Replacing a $200+ tire for free (or $49 if you get a cert on the new one) is extreme value in an unexpected time of need. Many complain about the wait. I say this is a variable that isn't always true, but is indicative of a trusted business. They do try to prioritize urgency, so be transparent with them if you have time or don't.

After about 20 minutes, they (the techs) came and got her (the lady at the counter) and came to tell me (the author) that she (the truck) was just fine and didn't need brakes.
