2nd time having issues here now…read more I specifically requested an AC diagnostic and explained upfront that I had already replaced the compressor, had the system charged the day before, and that a full leak/pressure test had already been performed. Instead of moving forward with a true diagnostic, they repeated the exact same service (discharge and recharge) that had just been done, and then charged me $285 for it. In the end, I'm back to square one--still not knowing what's wrong with my AC, but now out the money for a redundant service I did not need. To make it worse, I was told I'd need to pay even more for a diagnostic... which is what I had asked for in the first place. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. Be careful coming here for service and make sure they're clear on what you're requesting, or you may end up paying twice without answers. Always ask for Donny. He is awesome! He wasn't available when this happened.

The free flat repair service was what first brought me to Discount Tire long ago as a first time driver, and the fact that it's free, professional, and informative made me a permanent customer now. Even after buying new cars, I come back to Discount Tire to check the wear and be honest about what my car actually needs (not just be upsold at the dealership). The certificates are always worth it! You never know when something is going to happen to your tire. Replacing a $200+ tire for free (or $49 if you get a cert on the new one) is extreme value in an unexpected time of need. Many complain about the wait. I say this is a variable that isn't always true, but is indicative of a trusted business. They do try to prioritize urgency, so be transparent with them if you have time or don't.

I wish they had a mechanic there too! Great Place. I spent…read morea couple hours calling around to different places in the area trying to find tires for my custom rims after a flat the other day. Only a small amt of businesses even answered the phone and only one other place ( that bothered to answer that is) had my size tires in stock....New for lots of $$$ and about 1 1/2 away. Most had an answering machine that said "Come on in we'd love to fit you with tires" Um no I am not going to drive to you to See if you can help me. I called Alarcons and got a quote over the phone, yeah when I got there the guy said "hey for just a little more money I could give you 4 of these...." so I spent the $40 extra dollars and left out of there with 4 custom size almost brand new Name Brand tires with about 90% tred (I could rested a silver dollar nicely in tred and then some) for $240.00 + tax. and not only that they were 8 blocks or so from my house. Yes I could have driven 1 1/2 and got brand new tires for $960 + tax which is cheap compared to the last set I bought. But to save $800 I am mind blown. They had great customer service as well.
