Mailed out a package from here. Weeks later it was returned. The package was marked insufficient postage. I used their kiosk to weigh and pay for the postage. The package was opened and one of the items was missing. I was mailing two pens to a friend that my mom had made. One pen was for Christmas and one was a funny pen of Trump yelling. Interesting, that the package was returned with the Trump pen, but not the Christmas one. Never mailing anything out of this post office. read more

It is 7/29/2025, I have no idea where the package is. I got this search # but can't track it. I was told the package maybe back at the PO but I have no way of knowing. Super friendly staff here, spacious post office with 4 attendants working. The line was super long at 11am so you're better to go early in the morning. I can't give 5 stars because no dogs welcome so that makes it hard for me. Only blind people are allowed a service animal. read more

There are no clear markings to help anyone figure out anything with any special circumstances. Stood for thirty minutes to ne told to wait another thirty minutes in a different line. Then was attended by a supervisor who could have cared less about why anyome was there. The lines have always been quite long at this post office especially before the holidays. Today, I had exceptional service provided by Dawn. Her calm demeanor is definitely what is needed to deal with the general public & especially with so many mailing options that can definitely be confusing to many people. Everyone I've met at that post office has always been extremely polite to me. It is best to know what you are doing before going in to any post office. Lots of specifics can be found online, but of course, the employees always know the best way to mail items depending on customers needs. The only reason for the 4* is because of the long lines, but there is a hiring sign outside. I wonder why no one would grab a job there. Not sure what the jobs are, but I would guess they have good benefits. Note: Also, I found out for snowbirds, each individual person has to come in to get mail forwarding form to complete with ID. Previously, my mail person in NH provided one in mailbox. It probably varies as to who you speak with. read more

Avoid like the plague. There is a reason our postal service is losing money. I want so bad to support them but from the beginning to the end, my experiences have not been favorable.... for years...... The staff can begin by smiling, be nice. Then how about service? There is confusion on which line means what, WHEN they are open. They close at 5pm because in their book none of us work, we all won the lotto. They station one rude person to allow the PO box customers through but block the main way and send you to the machines with no help. THIS IS 12 days BEFORE CHRISTMAS????? It is not that hard to be nice, especially when you are being paid more than I with better benefits. Please try it. THEN concentrate on NOT losing my 3 packages, at the same time. My Naples Post Office is the lousiest on the planet! For the last several years I have requested a 'Hold Mail' when going on vacation. For some reason they continue to deliver and place my 'Hold Mail' with the note and confirmation number on the mail to be held! John is the best! I am not well-versed in post office procedures and he made it a completely stress free experience. The world needs more workers like John. So positive and helpful! All the self-help machines worked in there and it was well stocked with boxes and mailing stickers. This location is immensely better and more well-run than the UPS store on Santa Barbara. Go here, do not go to the Santa Barbara location. It is worth the extra drive and I hate driving. read more

The lady at the counter was beyond rude today. If you know me, you know I am a positive person. I'm not sure why she was sour. I needed a box mailed and stamps. Right away she looks at my box and says " why you shop online? I hate shopping online, it's for lazy people". I told her because I hate driving in Naples traffic to stores, and I can save time. She gives me a smirk, then says she won't mail my box because I don't have a strip of tape on the top. She also says " do you think you can mail something without tape? Go buy some tape and then get back in the back of the line". Then she hands the box back to me/ the very small box I might add. Then I point to the stamps I want. She says "these are Chinese year of the dog, where you born in the year of the dog" I said no. She then shakes her head like I'm stupid. Sorry but I like the looks of the stamps and my daughter was born in the year of the dog.... so I go to walk out after buying the stamps. I see a different counter and ask if I can buy some tape to mail my box. The guy John takes my box, puts a piece of tape on it and says "no good deed goes unnoticed". I thank him and leave. He did a good deed and I was thankful- or was he referring to the elderly lady I let cut in front of me in line earlier? I don't know, but he was greatly appreciated. This other lady.., how is she working there? I'm sure I wasn't the first person she was rude to. Her clerk number was 14. The good thing is, her meanness will not ruin my day. read more

December - The busiest shipping dates of the Year. I entered the postal lobby and see through a crowd that a long line is standing inside. In the lobby, there are two vending machines for dispensing stamps and weighing packages. There are also two very large self-service slots for depositing outgoing mail. This lobby is only about 10 x 10. Short lines are moving in front of each postal kiosk. Interestingly, there are three human beings in postal clothes who are assisting in this lobby. They read everything aloud as it comes up on the screen, and toss mail into the slots in the small work space that puts them face to face with holiday shippers.. Aren't three employees too many in a self-service area that is as small as the interior of a compact car? No. As I wait my turn, I see that without exception, every person who comes through the door, stops on the entry mat, and asks aloud, "Where do I mail this?" Holiday stress runs high it seems, but the postal employees are there to reassure and take over the simplest of tasks. Everyone smiles. read more

Most frustrating USPS store, that I've ever dealt with. Never ending, on going issues. Packages not picked up, only to find out if a certain supervisor is out for the office for the day, electronic package pickup requests are missed. My Packages are already postage paid and ready to go for the mail person. MY mailman can't tell the difference between a FedEx label and a USPS label !!! Go figure. Put in a request to have my mail redelivered 2 days ago, no mail yet...i was gone 2 weeks instead of three. So I did it electronically online. NOTHING!! This post office NEVER answers their local phone as well as no answering machine . So one has to call the 800# and today waited over 55 min for someone to help me. Horrible mail carrier, horrible service, horrible post master. USPS needs to be privatized. !!! read more

This post office is beyond incompetent. They quote you lies about the law, lose your mail, and confiscate your mail at their discretion. Furthermore, when asked about the law, they went on record and quoted me a complete falsehood and then hung up the phone when I recited them the correct law... few minutes later, I get a call from their supervisor telling me that they misspoke about the law, but I have no right to record them. I asked this gentleman if he knew what it means to to on the "record." And then he proceeded to hang up the phone. I have them on record telling me that if you do not get your mail in 2-3 days from your mailbox, they will confiscate it... these people are ridiculous and have completely failed a first amendment audit. In fact, they've confiscated and not delivered mail that was time sensitive and thus led to me not being served due process. As I read the reviews of other people here, I realize that my experience is not just an isolated event but a microcosm of the serious need to audit this facility. read more

We sign up for Premium Forwarding and are charged a weekly fee of $21 for this service and they are awful! The mail is picked up on Wednesdays, should be mailed immediately and arrive in 2 days and this hardly happens and when you open a case they don't have an explanation. This is the worst post office ever and as usual nothing is being done to correct it! If I acted this way with my business I'd be closed! This post office needs a complete overhaul. read more

The postal clerk behind the counter was extremely rude to an elderly gentleman who as confused about the postage. He treated the man like he was a stupid idiot. I was about to step up to the counter and say something but a lady in line beat me to it and told the postal clerk man to quit being rude, and she helped the elderly man. This postal worker was wearing shorts and a pocket tee shirt. I don't know why they look like they just got up out of bed these days when working with the public. This USPS branch at 1200 Goodlette Road Naples is one of the worse customer service post offices in Collier County. I have used this post office and never had any problems. It seems to be the main, or largest, post office in Naples, so the volume and traffic may explain why the service is not so great for some people. As for me, I am happy to have my mail delivered in a timely fashion, and this post office has never disappointed in meeting my expectations. They provide a contact name, number and fax number in case there are problems. What they don't tell you is they never answer the phone, the voice mailbox is full and faxes aren't read. I have to say I have not been to a post office in several years. Yet because Christmas was coming and the Christmas cards needed to be mailed, I thought we'd stop and buy some stamps and drop our cards in the mail. Boy was I wrong. The line was out the door and people were complaining and frustrated at every piece of the self service station located just inside the front door. People couldn't figure it out, and the service inside seem to slow. To be fair, we later realized that this was declared the last day you could send things through the USPS and have them arrive prior to Christmas. So certainly this overcrowding was not their fault entirely. I still don't Grant stars for anything other than my experience. The post office is an outdated and dying institution. They try to deliver mail to my house five days a week and most of what I get is junk. Let's pull the plug on the post office and come up with a better delivery system. How about every third day or something. I can throw the junk mail out just as easy once a week. read more

He refused to take responsibility for a missing package, that miraculously was found at a neighboring location-not until then did he suddenly remember how it got there. He told me that he was providing me this information out of the kindness of his heart-no it is your job! I made this phone call from out of state only after the recipient had visited this location twice within 7 days inquiring where the package was with the tracking # and still was given the run around and false information. We've lived in Naples since 2009 but it is our second home. When we went back up north and forwarded out mail, all of a sudden we started getting emails from our banks and other important places that they were getting our mail 'return to sender' back to them. We tried repeated to find out why after all these years they will not deliver out mail to our mailbox and are returning it. We spoke with the 'main' headquarters and opened a complaint. Then, we got an email from Elton from the Naples Post office saying "they were looking into it". WHAT???? Just start delivering our mail you dumb sh*ts. Why did you start returning it in the first place? Anyway, after calling again and emailing AND having our house sitter go down in PERSON to speak with them this situation STILL wasn't resolved...everyone simply disappeared or lied and we can't get anyone to deliver our mail yet. It caused us to miss an important letters from our banks, insurances, etc.. They should be held liable for this. It is inexcusable. read more
