The White Marsh Police Precinct stated that they get at least one complaint a day regarding stolen checks from mail at the following three locations: Perry Hall Post Office, Nottingham Post Office, and Rosedale/Golden Ring Post Office. The post office is doing NOTHING about it. No cameras installed. No warnings to the public. In fact, when I spoke to the Perry Hall Post Office, they said they had put a sign on the blue box for people not to use it but they do anyway so the sign was removed LOL. Sooo you are ok with people being defrauded out of thousands of dollars? I said why don't you lock up the box or remove it - mail person said we can't do that. But you can put a sign on it that says don't use it LOL. I heard it is an internal ring operating across these three post offices. You can't step on someone's property without a Ring camera catching you but the USPS can't install cameras to monitor the mail workers and blue boxes?

I may regret adding this location to Yelp as it is my favorite and I don't want the secret location…read moreto get out. Most people in my area forget that there is a better post office than the White Marsh location. My bf mails a lot of packages and I've recently been sending some to my sister overseas. Somehow my packages get to her much faster than when my parents mail from their post office (also in Maryland). The first time I went and was completely lost with figuring out how to mail something internationally, they were very patient and helpful. Even if there is a line (there rarely is when I go) it moves quickly. The ladies working the counter are nice and never seem overwhelmed even when some cranky customers who can't wait longer than 45 seconds get up to them. Added bonus, my favorite grocery store Aldi is in the same parking lot. There's also a cute coffee/pastry shop and Baskin Robbins.

This little Post Office is tucked away in a tiny little town outside of Falston Maryland called…read moreBenson. It is behind Jones car dealership. I found it by mistake some years ago and now I make it my stop for everything that I need to mail of importance. It is out of my way, but it is worth the trip and here's why. There are two amazing people that work there most of the time . One is the Post Master, who is a lovely lady. She is very charming and helpful in all instances and extremely friendly, and the other is a man named Derek. He also has wonderful qualities which just make you feel secure and know that your packages will get to their destination. I have brought both of them multiple packages quite often to go out of the country , and now with the new EU rules it's quite a tedious process to fill out the correct forms and do the things to be certain that everything goes smoothly. The nicest thing is that if something does not go well they are on it immediately and I have found that unfortunately that is quite different than many other Post Office's . Several days ago I mailed a package to Germany and it is very important that it get there. I asked questions about a different way to send it by priority mail , and Derek had all of the answers. Even when I'm sure the questions are annoying both of these people make their customers feel special, and as if they are very important. In this day and age it's quite difficult to find that type of service anywhere. Thank you Derek for your professionalism and your kindness and your knowledge . It's really too bad that the post office can't clone you.

The woman behind the counter are unprofessional and rude. Comments being made about "Why is she even here, did she even book an appointment. we are closed?" completely unbelievably unnecessary. When I've waited in line for 15 mins over the actual appointment time. When asked to speak to a manager she mentioned that I was mad about the Incorrect Photo that she told me to get from CVS. Not knowingly being aware of the fact that I've been unsatisfied from the level of introduction from the very start. Nobody greeted me said Hi or even asked what bought me in. But when other customers came in to get their passport serviced. The employees seemly shown favoritism and or excitement to service. Sad to see how poor we treat each other. These young ladies should understand professionalism, etiquette, and integrity to all customers who come to this post office. I will intentionally revist this location for the exact same service and expect better service. Update: Please go to Towson Public Library, for your passport needs. Thanks to Mellisa they will take care of you. Very professional and friendly, speak to you the moment you arrive. They even take passport photos. Ask for Melissa. They are very competent respectable and professional and will educate you on the prices.

Since when is it appropriate for a clerk to be on a personal phone call while assisting customers…read moreat the front desk? Several times, I thought she was speaking to me when she was speaking to someone through earbuds on the other end. Not only is this incredibly rude, but it also helps prove the clerk assisting me could not multitask. Her job is to deal with customers, not worry about whatever discussion about tuna she was having and monitoring her kids over the phone. When I tried asking a question about a zip code, she never acknowledged it. Then she took the overnight label I filled out, applied it to the envelope *that she never handed to me* and then sealed it as I was trying to point out that I was still holding the contents to be shipped, she said "Oh, I thought you already put it in". How could I when the envelope was on her side of the barrier? When I asked to start over, she ripped it open, inserted my documents, then taped it back up. Ironically, when the survey popped up on the touch screen, she reached under the barrier and clicked on the green smiley. I WOULD NOT have selected that one and she knew it. This also is UNACCEPTABLE, especially if they are rated on their performance with these. This particular post office is FAMOUS for opening envelopes/packages and stealing gift cards and money, so I won't be surprised if the documents I shipped don't make it.
