The store itself is quite a disaster too - there is no one out on the floor checking to see if everything is stocked up, or cleaned/organized. You'd think that they would have more help during the holiday season, but you would be wrong. The only good thing is that ONE GUY, when I asked about getting a small Priority Mail box, responded to my inquiry and made it happen. The parking here also drives me crazy - which is why I also avoid the Kroger that shares the same parking lot. Basically, I would rather go over to the UPS store (where the employees are kind, atmosphere is chill, and parking is fine) and pay twice as much to ship something than go to this location again.

Always had a parking spot every time I came to do mail stuff. 3) Interior: it's a little older, but everything is in working order. Clean, neat, orderly and not a spec of dirt anywhere. 4) Employees: exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They're always glad to help you out. I don't know what kind of other things to talk about when it comes to mail. I walk in, drop my mail or a package off, I pay for it, I walk out and I'm good to go. My mail or package gets there early is a plus, but all in all I just need it to get there in a timely fashion or even if it's extremely backed up, I would just want the item to get there period.

I had an appointment scheduled today to get a passport, but my experience was very disappointing…read more After waiting in a long line, I was informed by an employee that all passport appointments had been canceled. When I asked who had canceled them, the employee simply replied, "I don't know; I was just told to inform anyone who came in that appointments were canceled." He explained that he was the only staff member working at 1 p.m. today. I understand staffing issues can arise, but there was no prior communication about the cancellation, which wasted my time and caused unnecessary frustration. Better communication and planning would go a long way in improving the customer experience.

The staff here is engaged in their work.  They are friendly and neighborly.  The parking lot is…read morekept up very well.  The lobby and entrance is clean and kept free of debris and snow during the year and inclement weather.  The postal boxes outside are in good condition too.  This post office is conveniently located in downtown Romulus.  There are parks nearby and it is an easy ride or walk to several other businesses. The building is clearly marked.  It is a little difficult to find the door at first because it is tucked behind the main facade but that allows for easy entry during inclement weather as mentioned.  The landscaping is attractive and well designed.  All in all it is a pleasure to visit this post office for my postal business.

The United States Post Office in downtown Romulus, Michigan is easy to access.  There is plenty of…read moreparking here.  The staff here is very much interested in their work and they provide quality service here.  The building is kept neat and clean both inside and out.  It is easy to locate the materials and shipping items as the vending area is kept well stocked. The counter clerks are very good at what they do and offer a positive outlook.  It's refreshing to do business with them.  If the building is closed there are some conveniently located postal boxes right outside.  You can drop items in when walking by or even drive up if you want to.  The building is located in a quaint plaza and the traffic passing by is usually quiet and moving at a reasonable pace.
