This is one of the more friendly post offices I've been too. I normally don't have good experiences at USPS due to long waits and rude & unfriendly staff but luckily I've had good luck with going when it's not busy and everyone's been friendly here so far. read more

My mail is delivered from this location and it is the worse delivery service EVER! If the flag is up, that means there is mail inside, right? Not in my neighborhood. It could mean drive right by or just deliver the mail and DO NOT pick up the mail inside or just take the letters and leave any out going packages or this one is cool, deliver me everyone's mail but mine. And maybe 2 out of 5 times, they will put the flag back down. This is Postal 101. I know you had to take a class and the flag on the box is covered. So WTF! I use the usps a great deal, but half the time, I wonder if it's safe anymore. Disappointing as hell! Clean up your act! read more

Long story short: they are absolutely terrible . I would give zero stars if possible. They're extremely rude and even laughed at me over the phone. My friend had 2 packages coming from Kohl's, 1 was delivered just fine but the other one was "disposed of" according to the USPS website. When I called the nation wide USPS customer service which is a useless robot, it said it was not returned to Kohl's because of the "perishable nature." It's a t-shirt. When I called this branch the lady that answered was extremely rude and I was telling her the website said it was "disposed of" and she kept saying "what?" So I told her "disposed of, like in the landfill or thrown away" and she says how would anyone know that? And then she proceeded to gaslight us into thinking the apartment address wasn't on the package, but the other two were delivered just fine. Also could not offer any explanation to why it was disposed of. Not to mention the mail carrier that goes to said friend's parents house just refuses to deliver packages half the time and says no one is there to sign while the parents are home. Rude and had the audacity to laugh at me when both the Kohl's site and the USPS website said it was the post office that disposed of the package. Zero stars. read more

This is a review for the passport service only. I called and made an appointment for a passport application very easily. I called on a Friday and got an appointment for Monday morning. I brought all the required documents (I looked up online what I needed) and was in and out of the office in less than 20 min. That include the time it took them to take my passport picture and for me to get a money order from the front desk. Service was quick and polite. No complaints. read more

The supervisor was the rudest of all.. he had no regard for her time and offer no help other than to repeatedly saying "I don't have your mail"..The office has always been slow and a rude, but the supervisor takes the cake for the rudest of all.. read more

Out of my 50+ years on this earth receiving mail from the postal service I have never received such horrible service on a WEEKLY basis of where I currently live in the Fredericksburg area. Tracking information for packages means nothing because they deliver them whenever they feel like it. Sometimes they state they are delivered and where they've placed them, but they are nowhere to be found. Sometimes they scan them as undeliverable, for what reason I don't know why, but then they show up the next day. Tracking information states a note was left because I wasn't there to sign for a package, but there is no note, and yet again, it shows up in my mailbox the next day, or later. I have signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, which sends an email each morning with pics of letters and other flat mailings that are due to be delivered that day, along with the status of packages that are supposed to be delivered during the week, with the dates noted. It means nothing. I received a notice with a pic that my DMV tabs were due to be delivered and they did not arrive. I waited a day and then several, and no plate tabs. TWO WEEKS LATER they show up. In the meantime, I'm in a panic thinking they were stolen out of my mailbox. The main line to call the state DMV is impossible to get through, so I had to set an appointment with my local office to go in and get replacements. F*ck U postal service for causing so much stress because your carriers are so lazy! WTH do you do with those letters that come in? Just throw them in a box at the station and then pick out a few to deliver that day?! How the h*ll can these people keep their jobs when they clearly don't do them! I have filed complaints through the USPS site and have not received any response. I have seen similar complaints via Google about this same station so I am not alone here. What a dump. I haven't visited the post office for a little over five years, and when I recently started using it again it just looks so run down and dumpy. They do not have a large package drop like other locations, so I actually have to travel to the other post office is that are out of my way to drop large parcels. Returned two packages; post office did not scan the correct tracking bar code, both packages lost. Post office manager less than helpful, would not acknowledge their mistake; states that they scan and track more than just the tracking number, but apparently could not track the number they did scan. I have used this local post office for many years without issue; however in the last year or two I have had multiple issues: delivering my mail to someone's house down the street when I did finally receive it, it had been opened, packages delivered to mail box ripped and torn, mail box door not closed, came home to find mail on the side of the road and in the ditch...Overall poor customer service and management. Will be using UPS from now on and online payments in future. read more

It's a hit or miss with this post office. If you put a pickup for the next day it may get picked up or you may have to call and ask why they didn't pick up and then get told that they didn't see any packages out side even though you put them out there and you where home waiting because the package was to heavy for you to carry alone so that's why the pick up was made. Then they'll pick it up the next day, geez thanks. Then most times they don't want to come to your house if they have a package and needs you to sign it. So then they just leave the yellow card in your mail box and says sorry we missed you! Wow I was home and this has happened more then 20 times! They are lazy, rude and don't give 2 sh**s about their customers! I have no other choice but to have them deliver my mail but it sucks and I'm sick of it.
