After more than 24 hours, I started leaving messages with a few businesses asking for help as soon as possible. Matt called me back within an hour -- on a Sunday. He took the time to troubleshoot everything with me over the phone, and when we realized the equipment was dead, he offered to come out with an older router so he could at least get my Wi-Fi working again for my computer and TV. He ended up staying for several hours to make sure everything was set up properly, tested, and working well with a strong signal throughout the house. He also assessed my existing system and is going to help clean up my older professionally installed setup. Matt was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly generous with his time. Everything is working great now, and it was obvious he really knows what he's doing. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend Hook Me Up by Matt.

Matt and Paul changed my life and brought me into the 21st century. I had recently moved in a new…read morehouse from out of state and had to start from scratch. It began with needing internet as well replacing a complicated, antiquated AV system. What started out as six clunky AV components with multiple remotes was replaced with ONE main device. Clean and easy. I now have kick-ass internet, non-glare TVs with Sonos bars giving me phenomenal sound. They also installed additional Sonos speakers so I can seamlessly listen to music throughout the house, something I love but have never had. There were other goodies I needed that they were able to supply: a new thermostat, camera door bell, and security cameras all thoughtfully placed around the property - and all connected to my phone. Hook Me Up Solutions covered all the bases I needed and did so in a timely, professional manner. And they're super nice guys! In many ways, they truly went above and beyond. I'm not the most tech savvy person but Matt and Paul patiently got me up to speed on how to use all the new technology, most of it from my phone. This was key. In addition, they also updated my lighting. I had outdated recessed lighting, which they replaced and installed dimmers throughout the house, making a huge difference. Last but not least, I had carted an antique chandelier from California that I wanted in my dining room (replacing a very generic fixture). I was waiting forever on an electrican to do this. Instead, Matt did a white-glove installation, reattaching and cleaning each crystal. I was completely blown away. It was phenomenal having all this done (we spaced it out into 4 stages) by guys who are amazing at what they do and truly care about how they treat my home. Yes, it was an investment. But I now feel safe, and my home has been transformed into a peaceful, fun, harmoniously sanctuary. I would highly recommend Hook Me Up Solutions for any of these services. Again, above and beyond. Thank you Matt and Paul. You guys are the best.

I called Jeff on 2/28 for a keyboard replacement for my ASUS TUF. Which has worked flawlessly for 4…read moreyears. I had picked off the backspace key and couldn't not get it back on. Apparently the whole keyboard had to be replaced. Sounds good. Was quoted 150$. Cool. Was told to come pick it up on 3/5 and that it was good to go. Got a call today 3/6 that the laptop would not turn on and apparently the ribbon cable was not connected to the motherboard. He mentioned soldering something and how it would completely break the laptop. He said That three screws were missing and asked if anyone has ever opened it before. No. It has never been opened before. Only used for school work. He said that the motherboard disconnecting was not from him because he went in from the top to replace the keyboard. FYI. Jeff. There is no way to go in from the top of the laptop. After we brought the laptop home and paying 100$ for Jeff to break my laptop we opened it up and it blatantly is visible that he flipped the motherboard over to access the keyboard and that it snapped the ribbon from the motherboard. With having a video of the laptop working fully the night before it makes it obvious that I not only paid 100$ for him to break my laptop but I also paid 100$ for him to lie to me and blame me for something he broke. 0/10 IGN. I know now not to put my faith in humanity again and assume that people have good intentions and will tell me the truth. Now I have to replace my entire laptop costing me 1k. Good thing my school work can be restored off the ssd hard dive. Good luck to lying ass Jeff.

My first time here and I'll certainly be back and recommending these dudes. Came here after I…read moredropped my iPhone (15) and the haptics started making an awful grinding/rattling sound instead of the normal "buzz buzz". YouTube said it's common after a drop that the screws break and that results in the rattling sound. I contacted five other repair shops and no one but Fixoid said they could do the repair. Also, Reddit reviews as of 2026 HIGHLY recommend Fixoid's Vancouver location - no idea why it's rated so low on yelp Called to confirm the price and their hours. Came in around 4:30pm mid week and slapped down $100 ($110 with tax). They called my friends phone to pick up in about 30mins and said they had to remove my protective screen so they put a new one on for free. Super happy. Thanks guys!!

The staff seemed nice, and what I was trying to get resolved didn't seem to be that large of a problem for a computer "expert". So when he seemed to have succeeded by indeed, introducing my new (new to me... It was an older "Magic Keyboard") keyboard that just had to recognize my iMac. He had to use an "adapter", his words... to get this done. I was very pleased and relieved and gladly gave him the $26 and change that he determined to be the damages. I get home and unpack the iMac and turn it on and my keyboard cannot recognize my computer! I call him and tell him my situation, and he responds with I am gonna have to get an adapter of some sort... I was aghast!!! You did this and apparently knew that it was not going to be a "fix" without said adapter and you charged me...?!!!! So I mull it over a wee bit and call them back and get another staff member. I ask if I could use the $26 as a credit to a key board that they had for sale for $89? She responds that her manager is out for the day, "off the clock", and she cannot get this question satisfied until "tomorrow". I get off the phone and travel too Portland and buy a new key board for $99... Should have done this 1st thing yesterday morning... NEVER GOING BACK and I HOPE $26 was worth this review !!!!
