I have a defective modem…read moreand I called AT&T Customer service I was nicely told to take the defective modem to any store.We walked in there a lot of customers sitting and waiting only two staff people working. Normally when you walk they take your name and tell you it'll be a few minutes if they're busy. The one staff member came up and took my name- I told him I have a defective modem to return, he said it will be just be a few minutes. About five minutes later, different staff member told me the ATNT stores do not take any returns. He went on to say the procedure is that you take equipment to UPS. UPS will scan the Modem/ equipment and send it back to AT&T with no charge. AT&T needs to train their staff on their return procedures. They proudly Displayed a little hand written YELP sign.

I came here, frantic and stressed. A polite man with a beard helped me right away, asked me what the problems were with my phone. In 15 minutes he was able to get my texting capabilities back along with the ability to call out to any number including the certain number that I had not been able to make a call to - plus, finally my internet service was working away from home. My personal experience here was great and I was thankful that the store was not too far from my house.
