THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH! I believe in patronizing local stores. This was my first time (and last) at a "Batterie Plus". Purchased a battery through the internet with a pick up at this store. The battery showed as a Sony being in stock. When I went to pick it up, I was given an inferior battery (Renata). When I brought it up to the employee's attention (Dirk) he said "that is all we have". I ended up paying a premium price for a cheap battery. read more

I've done business at this place before but never have I been treated like I was by the idiot that works there. I was polite and cordial from the time I walked in but she was patronizing, condescending and had a chip on her shoulder from the beginning. Every time I would ask her a question she acted like pained to even respond.. I was about to buy two $25 batteries and asked a simple question about a charger. She told me they don't stock the charger. I said " but this is a battery store and it appears to be a common charger". She responded "we don't stock everything in the world" and acted like I was stupid for asking in the first place. She told me to Google it. She kept up with the patronizing attitude, and my switch flipped. I slammed the lid down on my case, told her to kiss my ass and walked out the door. I wouldn't buy a pocket flashlight from there now. Another customer walked in and she didn't treat him any better than she did me. Went to get a battery replaced in my fob.The tech advised me that my key fob was shorting out the batteries so he wasn't able to help me. The tech gave me back my fob without batteries in the fob. I requested for the batteries. I advised I'd would replace them. Once back at my office I replaced the batteries and the key fob works just fine other than the face of the fob is know broken. I called the store and told them the fob is working just fine also that the fob face is know broken. I asked the tech if he had broken my fob with a short pause he said no and ended the call. In late August 2018, I took two brand new men's Diesel wrist watches to the Edmond (OK) B'way location to have their batteries replaced. (I had them both in storage since Christmas of 2017). When I arrived at the B'way location in near triple digit temps, I was told by the employee behind the counter (a young male) that THAT store didn't have the batteries to fit my Diesel watches, but the Batteries + Bulbs store on May Ave (OKC), did. After a 15 or 20 minutes drive on a blistering hot (August) Friday in rush-hour traffic, I arrived at the May Ave. store, only to be told that they couldn't get the watches open to change the batteries! The 'technician' (female with arm tattoos) seemed perplexed and irritated that she couldn't open the watch, especially AFTER I told her they had the same tool at the Edmond store, and THEY opened it! She ended up calling the Edmond location (B'way) for assistance, but she still could NOT open the watch. There was another young lady behind the counter that tried to help her, and even had a suggestion about the proper 'tool' to use. By now, the tech (w/tattoos) is getting a bit aggravated by not being able to open the watch and is starting to get dangerously close to damaging my watch with her 'tool'. That's when I called a 'timeout' and told her to give my watches back and I'd pay for the (new) batteries, take them (and my two $250.00 watches) BACK to the Edmond (B'way) Batteries + Bulbs store and have THEM perform the installation. Another 15 to 20 minutes drive BACK to Edmond, in near triple-digit temps, during Friday rush-hour traffic and I'm BACK where I started. Walking into the B'way store in Edmond. Guess what? The technician that I started this 'journey' with at the Edmond store "just left for the day". His replacement, "Dirk", had no knowledge about this debacle I was going through. "Dirk" must translate to "Superman" in another language! He sorted through all the drama and got-the-job-done! He opened the backs on BOTH of my men's Diesel watches and replaced both batteries. Drama-free!! Moral of the story: the 'technicians' are at different levels of experience & training, and customers are not always patient enough. It CAN be a roll of the dice! read more

Screen never functioned properly after repair. After just 15 days several areas are now showing up with scratches and marks from underside & now screen appears to have a crack developing. Jessica says there is nothing they will do about. I remind her they told me I had 2 weeks to decide if I wanted to keep the substandard repair. At first I was willing. Now after a marks and cracks they won't do anything. Do not take your iPhone here the $20 or so savings compared to Apple isn't worth it. read more

I have been going there since they opened and have always had good service. Yes, they charge a bit more than Walmart, but they have knowledgeable people who can instantly find what I am looking for, saving me the time and trouble of looking all over another store - and probably not finding what I am looking for.
