I play lost of Video games so I'm kind of a nerd and AT&Ts internet doesn't even meet AVERAGE internet requirements it's insaine, I also live rite next to a 5G tower and it does nothing AT&T is garbage stay with your plan

If you move to Humboldt County, please **do not** under any circumstances sign-up for AT&T…read moreinternet. After I moved up here everyone informed me that Suddenlink is the best (and it seems to be cheaper, though they have bad yelp reviews, too)--I wish I had known that to begin with. After paying AT&T $100 for installation, my internet does not work properly--it cuts in and out constantly, making it impossible to stream TV shows, movies or do anything that requires a reliable connection. After many calls, AT&T sent several people out to fix my service, all of which had different answers to solving the problem, but after five attempts (all of which required me to stay home from work) none succeeded. One technician was supposed to show up between 2-4pm, but didn't get to my place until 6pm--I guess I didn't need to miss work that day. After three months of trying to resolve the issue, I called to cancel my contract and was put on hold for an hour. For some reason I was under the assumption that they would release me from my contract considering the great lengths I'd undertaken for reliable internet--it's not my job after all. When I finally got through to someone she was so unbelievably rude (providing the worst customer service I've experienced in my life) and informed me that even though my internet isn't working properly, they will not release me from my contract and will retain the $100 deposit. I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was one. Not only that, but she told me that they had few notes from the technicians who visited my house. One wrote that he had moved my modem to another room as per my request, which didn't happen--he replaced what he said was a malfunctioning modem, which he blamed as the source of the problem, and it stayed in the same room. Apparently the last technician, who informed me that he fixed the problem (and didn't), just didn't make any notes of his visit at all. Neither did the person who he sent the following day to fix something outside that he blamed as the problem's source. I have been traveling during the weekends and haven't been able to take additional days off of work to have a technician come look at it again, and so I'm still having the same issues. Basically, I'm just using my phone as a hotspot connection (which remarkably works better!) to do everything, so I'm paying AT&T for nothing. This is a long rant, but I'm livid--normally I log into Yelp to write positive reviews, but AT&T's "service" is beyond the pale.
