My son used to be very shy and uncomfortable trying new things. When we first enrolled him in taekwondo, he was even too embarrassed to introduce himself or say his age in front of others. He has now been attending for about 10 months, and looking back, I truly feel it was one of the best decisions we've made. The biggest change is his confidence. He now introduces himself proudly, speaks up, and expresses his thoughts wherever he goes. Our entire family has been amazed by how much he has grown. Beyond learning taekwondo techniques, he has developed confidence, discipline, respect, and good posture. I've heard that many taekwondo schools focus heavily on games and entertainment to keep young children engaged. This school is different. They don't simply keep the kids busy with activities--they teach real taekwondo. The instructors emphasize discipline, proper etiquette, respect, focus, and correct technique. For our family, those values are far more important than simply having fun. The Master and the Manager genuinely care about each child and give them personal attention. You can tell they want every student to learn taekwondo the right way, not just earn the next belt. I especially recommend this school for children around 5 or 6 years old. Those early years are such an important time for building confidence and character. I honestly believe that if we had missed this opportunity, my son might still be the shy little boy who was afraid to speak up. We plan to continue here for many years. I've also heard that staying in martial arts through the teenage years can make a huge difference, and I can already see why. If you're looking for a school that values discipline, respect, manners, focus, and authentic taekwondo training--not just games and entertainment--I highly recommend this place. 6/8/2023 I was waiting on the parking for this business to open up , cuz I want my daughter to get classes on this place, looking at the reviews it looks great to me until they arrive, I was park right in front of the business & a lady toll us if I was to move my vehicle that was so strange she give me the look of WFK you doing here, so I say yes, so I decided to look for more places I didn't move my car of course.. & a few minutes later she came out of the business again asking if I was to move my car & toll her I was there cuz I want to have my daughter enroll but she was soo RUDE & unrespectful than she said that I was on her parking spot, non on the parking spots in front of this business are assigned BAD BUSINESS, I had 2 boys & 1 girl to enroll here but I'll look somewhere else NO GOOD BUSINESS read more

This is a great TKD school. My girl liked it since the day one. The class was smaller when she started in the midst of Covid in February 2021. Now the classes are bigger and my daughter enjoys it more with more friends. They never miss safety protocol with bigger classes as well. Great school to learn not only TKD but also discipline, respect and self esteem. She just got a green belt and she couldn't be happier. She's determined to get black belt. Master and all staffs are great help too. Master is patient, listening but also teaches discipline at the same time. Amazing! I recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

My husband and I came by this business to ask if we would be able to observe a class to potentially register our child into Tae Kwon Do. As soon as we walked in the Karate instructor stopped and told us we could not enter. He yelled out for his secretary to come and assist us. She advised us step on a mat and proceeded to check out temperature (Covid protocol) We walked into her office and asked her if we could watch a class because we were looking for a martial arts class to enroll our son in. She said we could not watch a class and that the class that was being taught at the time was not for his age. She made us feel like she wanted to rush us out to leave. We thought we would find a small martial arts class for our son and all we found were unpleasant customer service. We will take our business to a place with more gratitude for their clients. read more

My son has been coming to USA Tae Kwon Do Center for the past year and it is fantastic! The reason we chose this dojang is because the space is huge, a flexible schedule, and sparring when kids get to a certain belt. The tae kwon do masters are great teachers who are encouraging, patient, yet provide that balance of discipline needed. My son has been coming here for the past year and loves it. I really like how there is the goal of moving to the next belt and through practice, every student can achieve it. And after each belt test, kids get to play dodgeball with their instructors! Master Cho is the Tae Kwon Do Master instructor for my son since he was 5 years old. He is a phenomenal teacher of Tae Kwon Do who takes the time to explain the purpose of every move, to raise the bar so one continues to grow as a student and martial artist. He sees the potential in every student and knows exactly how to motivate each to reach higher, kick harder, develop intensity and focus. Master Cho, Master Tak and Master Hong serves as an exemplary role model both on and off the mat. My son has been coming to USA Tae Kwon Do for over three years. He started at the beginning and is now a black belt. He loves the instruction and the physical activity. It challenges the mind and body. Master Cho is excellent, as are the other instructors, who really nurture the kids growth and understanding of the sport. We go twice a week for an hour of 8nstruction and an extra hour on Fridays for sparring where the kids put the technical instruction into practice. The only area of improvement would be in communication with parents via email to keep schedule changes updated or reminders and such. Otherwise highly recommended read more

Master Cho and all the guest masters and instructors teach with compassion as well as discipline. I'm an alumnus of this TKD school and I have to admit, it is pretty good. Quick story, the owner and grandmaster of this school was (not sure if it is true on his own word, but the pictures seem to tell the truth) a former bodyguard of one of the South Korean presidents. That being said, you will expect a tough, aged man who is likely to become a drill instructor for the students. When I had went to this school, I was about 10 years old and had to quit after 4-5 years because of a bad back. However, the training of the school is REALLY intense for its main children students; a lot of the training is very unorthodox and unconventional, such as forcing students to jump over other students when performing a jump side-kick or jump off of the wall to break a target. The training center is pretty large. I'm figuring that it used to be a gym of some kind before it turned into a school because there is also a "locker"/change room in the back. However, it isn't to say that there would be enough students to fit in one hour, because it's big enough to fit only about 15 students (30 kids though) Price-wise? It's not very cheap, but once in a while, the school is trying to show off large discounts to entice more customers, so it'd be better to take advantage of those opportunities. Unfortunately, I will have to give this place 4 stars out of 5; I'll be honest, I am proud to be a former student here and to learn invaluable skills, but let's be honest, I think the instructor is a bit too harsh on his students and, in rare cases, not strict enough. What does bother me is the instructor's partner/assistant teacher, who sometimes runs the show when the instructor isn't there; once, I recall that he would make us dance and kick targets whenever he felt like it. That wasn't what bothered me, but I've seen this particular individual berating young students and taunting them whenever they didn't listen. What is also a problem is the state of the back "locker" rooms; Unlike other TKD schools, it would be a plus to have a locker room in the back, but it is really dirty. I once had my uniform stained by another, younger student's feces; from that day, I never used the back rooms. Bottom line? Go here, the skills are incomparable to other TKD schools, but be cautious about enrolling young children; I've seen kids left and right get hurt and leave class crying because they were kicked or were landed on. read more

My son who is 9 has been attending close to one year and I couldn't be happier with this place. From day one they'll make you feel right at home. The instructors are the main reason why I have continued to bring my son. They are great with children. Just the right amount of discipline in a caring family way. Instructor Zach is a "Super Star" the way he works with the children and communicates his instructions is awesome to see. My son has a long history with difficulties focusing and following instructions, but these instructors really know how to get the best out of him unlike any other place.
