I re cently used USA Logistics to transport my car from California to Virginia. Christina, the rep was great. The driver, Levan was on point in explaining what to expect. My car was picked up on Tuesday night and delivered on Sunday, a day ahead of the promised delivery date. The prize was a little higher than the market prize; however, I went with them based on my confidence in Christina regarding the information she shared. Two of our boxes got lost and the customer that mistakingly got it called 3x to get them to pick it up and we called/texted multiple times to find it and if it werent for the driver giving us the customer phone # then this would be lost for good. Company was responsive and professional up until day of move. We paid $8700 or a full truck so we could secure a direct route and expedited timeline. What we got was drivers who wanted an extra $1400 after 90% of our items were on truck, which was no where near full and less than cf quote. No communication or response from USA despite multiple attempts during the move process, while we had no idea where our items were or after the delivery to discuss issues, two additional subcontractors expecting payment we were not told about and items delivered wet and damaged 10 days late after being held in a storage facility. read more

Absolutely the worst moving company ever. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Was told they do not subcontract and everything is in house. Should have known when they offered a lower price compared to other companies just to charge you the actual price they initially wanted at pickup. Moving from VA to SC and Was told pickup would be on a Wednesday/thursday which was fine, we planned on leaving town and moving out whenever they came from those days. Told us it'd be Thursday (that Wednesday) so we already planned to leave Thursday then last minute told us it wouldn't be picked up until Friday which inconvenienced everyone as we had people at the house Thursday that were taking care of our stuff and waiting on movers while we made the drive down since we still had to drive out of town Thursday. Was told 2 separate prices about a week before and that final price would be during pickup. I knew we didn't include everything on the inventory as we were still packing and leaving behind things but it was still only a LITTLE bit extra that didn't even take up much room and they tried to charge an extra 1k which is conveniently the second price they tried to tell us in the first place. One guy said 1600 and one lady said 2400-2800. Not only did they keep delaying pickup/delivery, there was miscommunication with everyone or no one ever answers when you call. Tried to tell us we had to pay the second portion of the money or they won't deliver our items yet they still couldn't tell us when they'll be here and also delayed again for a second time. They tried to up charge every chance they get. Told us they would dissemble the tvs but never did and someone else at the house had to. Charged us for packaging that we did not authorize as we had already left town and they never called to ask or verify anything and even had a tenant at the house stay to talk to them and make sure they got everything. They were only supposed to package 2 TVs . 95% of everything was also already packaged in bags and bins besides TVs yet they put the already packaged bags in their own packaging and charged us for them. There was a bunch of unauthorized charges and fees, lack of communication, last minute changes, contract not being honored, and just making up numbers and up charging anything and everything. Was told last minute after the second delay that payment will be either cash or Zelle, we Zelle'd but bc they were a new contact it took a while to process and the mover refused to give our items until he received payment even tho he saw us trying to pay and the payment was obviously pending. After calling Zelle and the bank multiple times and hours later, everything worked out. One of the movers didn't even help at all bc he was only worried about the money the other mover was the only competent one and doing his job and moving in our stuff for us. So far the movers they sent me are a nightmare. My price has gone up 3 times, and has tripled. I was not given a bill of lading for my boxes. Boxes weren't labeled by them. They will not show me the measurements. They did not measure, took pictures sent to Juan in corporate . Juan told me the movers measured, the movers told me Juan measured. they half stacked in the truck and told me I had 2x amount estimated. I've not got a call backs when I'm asking for bill of lading and paperwork I learned I should've received. They've charged me $1300 dollars to move a mattress and box spring. No headboard or footboard no frame. . Makes no sense to charge $1300 to move a mattress when you can easily buy a new one. I asked that it be left behind that I had to make decisions on what was left, but they managed to get my bed and vanity on there without me noticing. That would've decreased the price by half according to what Juan is charging me for a mattress. I was on the phone with Juan upset about the price going up $1,000 every time I talked to them. They wait until right before load up to come out and look at it giving me no choice but be held hostage. If I have to be somewhere for a job, I cannot cancel and rebook someone else., it's been horrible experience. I should've read the reviews. Let me start saying I work for Amazon and I think I know enough about logistic. I also moved 6 times in the last 8 years. My move with USA logistic was the worst. They have no clue when your stuff will be delivered, they just share made up dates. The dispatcher based in Washington, Diana, is very aggressive, bad manners, unpolite person. Update as of 4-10-23. This company has now threatened my daughter with not getting her belongings if I do not remove this review.... You WILL NOT be infringing on my freedom to tell the truth! This is extortion and illegal per my attorney. The attorney General in Nebraska, Utah and california have been alerted..... USA Logistics is the company her move was brokered to. Venture van Lines is a broker, not an actual mover. According to the 58 complaints on the BBB They get people hooked ,take their deposits purposely mis quote cubic feet needed to move their things and shuttle them off to a broker who is then stuck to deal with unhappy customers when they find out they were misquoted. Usa logistics out of California is this company. They have several locations, so good luck trying to get ahold of anyone. They have over 100 complaints on the BBB that have all been unanswered. Go figure. They more than doubled the moving quote at pick up. My daughter unknowingly hired them to move her from utah to nebraska. She listed all her things she needed moved. She sent me the list as well. Venture van Lines quoted her 397 cubic feet for an entire house full of furniture. How they did this with not asking for measurements is beyond me. The movers came, USA logistics, and said if she wanted everything she listed moved, she'd have to pay another 8k. This is fraud. 2/3 of her stuff is still in Utah, and they want another $950 to deliver the 1/3 of her things that they actually moved on top of the 2k she's already paid. Breech of contract. I would definitely steer clear of this company. She has no way to get her things. She's 7 months pregnant, she's in a house with basically an air mattress, a 3 year old, and the clothes on her back. The absolute worst business I have ever dealt with in my life... contracted through Cardinal Van... who were so kind in the beginning after They got a huge deposit never returned one call after 3 weeks of a no show from USA Logistics hung up on me every time I called to find Out where my Things were ... and it they didn't hang Up on me they would put me on hold 20 minutes at a time . They will low-ball you on the quote to get the business and then ask for double once the truck is loaded. We changed out quote 2 times and ended up with less than we had on the original quote and they still wanted over $2000 MORE than the most expensive quote. (I want to apologize for the long review but please read the ending of this review to get helpful info on how to shut this company down.) This company needs to be shut down and fined for its criminal practices. Our experience with this company has been a nightmare with our move from Northern California to Houston Texas. I will only highlight just a few of the issues with this horrible company. After USA Logistics removed everything from our apartment, the foreman told us that the price for the move was now going to be $10,000 instead of the quoted and agreed upon price of $4350.77. We were shocked!  None of the movers ever mentioned any price change from the initial quote until AFTER everything was moved out of the apartment and onto the street. At this point, we had no choice and we were in a desperate situation as it was later in the day.  We asked why the price change was never mentioned to us, especially before everything was taken out of the apartment.  The mover responded with, "that's how it's done". We declined the price increase because this was not what was agreed upon between us and USA Logistics. We asked them to return everything back into our apartment. The foreman refused to return our items back into our apartment and said we will need to pay him $1800 in cash for them to remove a number of the items they had already placed into the truck. We told him that we could take them down ourselves, but he said we could not go unto his truck and he proceeded to pad lock the truck door with our belongings still in the truck. They were holding us hostage in every way possible! I was in tears at this point. This was probably about 6pm when they notified us of the price increase. The foreman told us he can try to get his boss to lower the price of the move if we leave some things behind and if we pay the whole balance upfront with a check.  We had no choice but to agree to new and different terms set by USA LOGISTICS while our belongings sat on the street, and some things locked in their truck. Once again, they changed the quote for the third time, asking for $8600 to be paid that day. So now we come to the delivery portion of USA LOGISTICS moving company, which is even more horrifying. The contract states the delivery will be completed within 21 business days, but we still haven't received all of our belongings and it's been over 2 months now. We are still waiting for our dining room table, TV stand, king size mattress and our 55 inch TV to be delivered. The MAJORITY of the furniture delivered had some sort of damage upon delivery after being in the possession of USA Logistics. To date, we have not heard from anyone at USA Logistics regarding our missing items.  We have made multiple attempts to reach out to USA Logistics by phone and by email regarding our missing and damaged items and have been unsuccessful. After multiple documented telephone calls and emails, we still have not received any replies. Additionally, after sending our initial email to USA logistics regarding our missing and damaged items, our emails have been blocked and our phone calls now go to a full voicemail inbox. We have come to terms that we will most likely not receive our missing items, but we will not give up on bringing this unlawful company to justice.  We plan to report them to the texas attorney general, to California attorney general, department of transportation, and any other agency necessary to get justice. Things to do to get results: 1)Report the company to the Consumer Complaint Office of Attorney General Public inquiry unit at http://www.oag.ca.gov. Phone number: 1(800)952-5225. 2) Report them to the Department of transportation protectyourmove.gov. 1(888)368-7238. If they have your belongings and they are holding you hostage call a lawyer. I recommend Michael García Attorney at Law in San Diego, 1(877)299-0550. He has won a case against this company so he's very familiar with their illegal practices. Don't wait to reach out to an attorney ASAP! Also take them to small claims court for your losses. Don't let this company continue to get away with illegal business practices. We need to report them to the right agencies because that's the only way they will be shut down. They can pay to remove bad reviews or create fake positive reviews but they can't do anything once we report them to the right agencies. The Feds will shut them down as long as they get reported enough times and so far this year the company has had at least 20-30 complaints with the department of transportation. Last year they were reported 50+ times, the year before that they were reported 60+ times. I have never experienced such a thing... I had them take 10 boxes from CA to NJ. They came 1 month late. Then for the day they are supposed to come they come 6 hours late. They show up and say it needs to be paid in cash even though that was not the agreement. Because we didn't have cash at the moment they tell us they are going to put the boxes up for auction (mind you he is yelling at me the entire time). The price more than doubled. The care for my personal belongings was less than if I had picked them up at the dump. Not one item arrived without marks or damage. The door of a cabinet that is not replaceable, was ripped off, the back of a chair was broken, a bathroom cabinet destroyed (arrived in pieces). We had them all set up to move at a set price $$ for about 2 months in advance. I can't even tell you the horrible experience with this company. And the worst part about it was that I never even used them to ship my car. I originally contacted Mr. Romano (the owner of the company) about a price quote to ship my car from the east coast to the west coast, but ended up finding a different shipper with better prices so I went with the other company instead. I never signed any type of contract or gave him any deposit. So please tell me why more than a month later I get an email stating that he wanted me to pay him the remaining amount for shipping my car?? Excuse me what???? He then proceeds to email me some bogus receipt saying that my car was picked up and delivered on such and such date with the wrong pick up address and the wrong delivery date from when it was actually delivered. When I wrote him back saying that he must have been mistaken he then threatened to report me to the authorities if I didn't pay him!! Needless to say, the conversation ended when I told him to never threaten me again, that I never signed a contract with him so that he was therefore entitled to nothing, that I have the bill of lading from the company who did actually ship my car, and that if he continued to try to extort money from me I would have him sued for harassment. If this is any example of his usual business practices then I warn you DO NOT do business with this guy. He is shady and unethical and is only out to get your money. If you are in the market for 100% more stress than what you're already under during your move then by all means use this company. If you love horrendous customer service once they rope you in and you put your deposit down this is the moving company for you! PLEASE heed my advice and look elsewhere. Nobody deserves any additional stress on top of a move. This company gave me a quote and on the day of pick up stated they could not come until the next day. Luckily I had some wiggle room as far as when I needed to move out of my house so I figured it wasn't a huge deal. The day of the move I reached out to the company and they stated that I was under-quoted by $4,000. On top of that they would not be able to come on that day. I was told a manager would call me to go over the details or issue a refund; 5 hours later I still did not receive a call. I attempted calling and was given the run-around and hung up on TWICE! Some manager named "Ben" assured the quality improvement manager that he spoke with me and I agreed to the new price and new pick up date. I never spoke with "Ben" or agreed to any new terms. If you want a company that is unreliable, uncommunicative, disrespectful and dishonest, you've come to the right place. I booked them weeks in advance with Steve, lured by the low price and the "family owned business" he touted, and they never showed up. They were scheduled for a 3-5 pm window on 8/13/20. Then on the day, I received a call from Carolina saying they would be there at 6-7 pm. Then I got a call at 8 pm from the "truck driver" saying they'd "gotten stuck downtown with a broken elevator," and could they come in the morning at 7 AM? You can imagine the pattern emerging. To summarize, they never showed up, even after I was promised by Carolina three times the next day that they'd be there. I was also promised calls from the Supervisor to discuss the situation, who never did. I eventually had to leave, since I was 8 hours behind schedule, but my roommate confirmed they never arrived. I never got a call from anyone with an explanation, or an apology. Thank goodness I used a Discover credit card, and got to dispute my deposit. Pay the extra money for a reputable company. Tried to send an email via the website and it can't be delivered. Here was the message: We are so absolutely mortified at the services received. It not only took over 2 weeks to receive our possessions, but when they did arrive, those that did arrive where so poorly treated that furniture was broken and glass, etc...from damaged boxes. Currently, we are waiting for the second truck which we didn't even know was a thing until only half of our possessions came off truck 1. They were all on one truck when they left our house. Several moves later and they are on a truck that had a flat tire yesterday and today is having cycling issues. My guess is that your company needed time to find the rest of our furniture that is still missing from our home. Your work and communication has not been worth $6000 let alone the $17,000 that we were held hostage to pay. You will be hearing from our attorney. This has not been the moving experience that we had hoped to receive and we will be letting others know unless it is made right. I have pictures of the damage and made sure to take photos prior to it leaving our house. It is appalling that you take advantage of families that have no other option when you arrive than to agree to pay ungodly amounts and then they wait day in and day out for their possessions to arrive. Please let me know how you intend to proceed. I will write reviews, the BBB, and my lawyer will be reaching out if you are not going to make this right. He sold me on the no broker, you can talk to me anytime, we are here for you and are the best company to take care of you and your belongings. There was an initial quote, a second quote as I firmed up what I was taking (more money), a third the day before my pick-up where I walked by and confirmed every single box and item (more money), the pick-up and load surprise of going over my cubic square footage (how?? almost double my cost) I can pay or they will unload everything and I lose my deposit. From there it only gets worse. Terrible communication, told I am not allowed to talk to Steve now my items were with dispatch, my stuff shows up with two scrawny guys unloading my broken and smashed boxes onto the snowy driveway completely unable to unload and deliver to the rooms the items were supposed to go in so we had to help unload the truck, put everything in the garage and finish the move ourselves the next day. When they brought us our things, they unloaded it in such a way that we needed spotters to prevent things falling on our heads. I got several quotes and questioned all the bad reviews but Peter Smith assured they would handle everything and since I had several quotes from people that did a physical walk through the quote would be on point. Not only does Peter Smith have no integrity, he is a liar. This company takes advantage of a already stressful situation and makes it even worse. I cant stress enough believe all the negative reviews, they are real. I was given a estimate after I supplied several estimates to USA Logistics performed by companies that did a walk through of my home. So they had all the inventory and cubic feet. I also requested a 53 foot truck so all my stuff would be on one truck, Peter said yes, I'm basically taking up a full truck anyways. So move day comes, Tom shows up with two 26ft trucks and says, the other truck wasn't available, so already I'm feeling like this deal is going sideways. I call and ask for Peter and he's not available. I call several times, and realize they are screening the calls. So I agree to use the two trucks because Tom assures me my stuff will not leave these trucks and everything will stay together, if I go get a cashiers check instead of a personnel check. So I agree, because I don't want my stuff moved from truck to truck. They pack all of belongings and stage it in the driveway, Tom says the weight is to much and price is double! Now I realize Iv'e been scammed, such a terrible feeling. I say no way, Tom says well just pay me for packing and you can find someone else, but it will be much more than his estimate. So with all of our stuff sitting in the driveway and no place to go, they have you trapped and they know it. We come to an agreement which is 5 thousand more than the original quote. Ton says they will deliver our items in two days, so I agreed. I drive to AZ with my family and prep for the the two trucks, I receive a call from the driver and he says he will be later than scheduled and do I have room a 18 wheeler! what, I ask..my stuff should be on a two trucks. So again Tom and Peter lied, they moved my stuff onto another truck and brokered it out to another company. Yes I said brokered, don't let them say they are not brokers. When the driver arrived , he asked for payment up front and what company I used, what do you mean don't you work USA Logistics?? the driver said no, I just pick up trailers. So yes they are a broker. I then asked where is the help? He said they are coming soon. They hired some people from craigslist? This is unbelievable, but what are you to do. Again they have you trapped. So the help shows up, and yes they all responded to a craigslist listing. I ask where is the ramp for the 18 wheeler, driver says we don't have one.Well this should be interesting considering I have three safes and a tool box weighing 300 pounds. Yes they scratched several of my safes and damaged my file cabinet. Several items where missing, I explained to the driver and he just call the moving company. This company will take advantage, lie and cheat you all the way until delivery. Yes the reviews are real, don't let them tell you otherwise. Just google them and you will see all the bad reviews and the F they have with BBB. Avoid them at all cost, moving can be stressful enough, trust me stay away. A car shipping company should not incur traffic fines in your name in the process of transporting your vehicle to another state. But that's exactly what happened when I used USA Logistics. And it was the President of the company who was driving my car when it happened, less than 6 hours after he picked it up from my home! Imagine my surprise when I got a traffic violation notice in the mail two months after I had moved (it had been forwarded from my old address) for running a red light. Upon checking the date and time, sure enough it had been in the possession of Mr. Blaese A. Romano, president of USA Logistics, Inc. I called and left a message for him, and also sent an email. The president's very unprofessional response - "Holy #$%?! Yes, I'll take care of it." That should have been the end of it. But it was not. I had to keep calling and emailing after a week went by and it hadn't been paid. There's a deadline for paying a ticket otherwise you have a court date. Mr. Romano never seemed to care, and he never once apologized. One time when I called he even claimed he had sent a check to the municipal court the previous day when in fact he had not! Then to add insult to injury, he made out the check for the wrong amount! Yes, he could have paid the traffic fine online (and for the correct amount), but time and time again Mr. Romano chose to do the wrong thing. I would advise NO ONE to use this guy's company, I don't care how long he's been in business. He is unethical and dishonest. read more

Do not use this company they are con artist when we call they asked for a list of items and they gave me a quote we told them we had to be out of our house by a certain date and mind you we had talked to several people about what time we needed move and they all said no problem but when the day for the move came no call from them and no truck so we called and we were told that the date for pick up need to be one day earlier for them to pick-up on date requested mind you after mutiple calls and rude and dismissive people they showed up 3 days after they were supposed to and when they loaded the truck the estimate doubled in price because according to them I had bulky furniture now here I sit in my new home in Nevada with no furniture I was told they would be there the same day and they would call with a time mind you we only moved from san diego to Nevada and it has taken 4 days and we still don't have our furniture they do and our money and when you call you get rude a customer service person who tells you it can from 1 to 7 days for your furniture to arrive at there destination if I could give negative stars I would read more

USALogistics has lied every time I speak to them. My first mistake was going with a company that had USA in the name. Big mistake. Contacted sales to get a quote. Sales rep made a pitch that USALogistics owns all their trucks and is not a middle man. BS. They subcontracted to a third party trucking company from Chicago, of all places. I gave the sale rep a very specific inventory of items and was quoted $2800. I added a few boxes so I advised on new count, quote was increased slightly, no issue. On pick up day, all of my items were loaded into a truck and a manager that arrived in a separate vehicle waited until all items were loaded, then advised truck to pull away and go to next job. He then turned to us after truck departed and stated that we exceeded the load "weight". My cost went from $2800 to $10,000. I asked the manger at what time he determined we exceeded the weight and he stated as soon as he arrived, but he did not feel compelled to advise. He wanted the balance in cash, on a Saturday. I advised that I wanted my goods returned to me and he stated, "for $3000". When I asked why, he stated because they had loaded the goods. I negotiated down to $8000 with a small deposit now of what I had and balance upon delivery. Move was from San Diego to Florida. Had bought new home there but not available until 30 days. Contract stated delivery in 4 weeks. Received call from third party trucking company 10 days later advising they were at my home ready for delivery. There was no place to deliver to. Called USALogistics and they admitted their mistake but asked me to find a storage space for delivery. Since I was still in San Diego, I would not be able to inventory or inspect my goods. They placed me in contact with third party to work this out on my own. Trucker advised that if I did not pay his costs, he would take my stuff back to Chicago and would not return for at least 4 months. I contacted my local realtor in Fla to set up a storage spot and had goods unloaded. USALogistics advised in writing that they would pay for storage and would deliver when home became available. Never heard from them again and had to move furniture by myself and pay storage. This is not a company you want to deal with. Had I done y due diligence and read the reviews, I would never have used these crooks. Stay away, stay very far away. I am having to deal with the courts and lawyers now. read more

This company is a front to take you money and then not preform the contract. All calls go to voicemail first so they can screen all incoming calls. Potential new clients get immediate attention. After they get your deposit (1/2 of contract total) all customer service stops. All subsequent calls go to voicemail. No action is taken on all subsequent voicemails left. Only first time callers get assistance. Messages left on voicemail are not actions and calls not returned. Messages left on the business phone of the sales rep John Ryan are not answered and calls not returned. Even when the voice prompt states that John Ryan is on the phone and will return my call as soon as possible. Request for return of deposit for non performance of contract are ignored. The staff of this company act as if the business is bankrupt but the website remains active. Sales rep John Ryan told me that "we go out of our way to take care of service members." Its Sad that there is no 0 Star :) to provide review.. TRUST ME this Guy is total fraud. Had a really one of worst experience that I ever faced when shipping car. Wish I read review before I shipped my car. PLEASE STAY OUT OF THIS FRAUD. Here is the thing: - First, he will be nice when you ask for shipment information and he promises the exact shipment date and deliver date. After that he asks you to sign a little piece of unofficial contract paper which has no information abt insurance. This guy itself doesn't have driver so he contacts other third party for shipment. Someone from other company with Tow truck will tow your car and they will take to their place, NOW, they will tell you that your car already got shipped on the same date which actually will be not the case. They will ship your car only 3 or 4 days after depending on cheap price they get from other drivers. Things won't stop here. He stops picking your phone his phone when you ask for you car information. After some days he will call you saying that you have too much stuffs on your car. Police had detained your car and they took all your stuffs out and its on the street right now. He will ask you another $250. He will threaten saying-- If you won't pay driver he will Not put your stuffs back on your car. I ended up paying a way more with one of horrible experience in life.Also, KEEP IN MIND they will also take your Gas out of your car tank without your consent.
