I can't say enough how Jeremy and his team have helped repair my mother's car (I think four times now). The latest incident had the other party's insurance total the car, yet Jeremy was confident it could be repaired. Since she really loves her car, we went ahead and had it fixed and it successfully passed the safety inspection on the first try. This allowed her to keep it with the rebuilt salvage title, while in perfect working order. No way would I have had it fixed at any other shop. Our 2012 Jetta had pretty extensive front-end damage from hitting a pickup truck tow winch. We loved this car and it was a struggle whether to repair it or junk and find another vehicle. At the accident scene our AAA tow truck driver suggested USA Auto Body. At USA Auto Body I had a fairly long conversation with Jeremy, asking questions and was impressed with his depth of replies, and I was impressed with him. I know a fair amount about cars and feel like I can sense a scam or mistrust a mile away - I didn't have either of those senses with him. He set me a price and told me he wouldn't go over it, no matter what they found (he kept his word). We decided to repair it and to trust him & team with the work. It took longer than I would have liked but it was around the holidays, and the big rains, and the repairs took longer than anticipated, so I chocked it off to that. The finished car astounded me how good it looked - and he kept the price down by using almost all used parts. Looking from the front of the car now it looks nearly brand-new... it's my daughter's car and she's beyond excited about it (she's the one that banged 'her up). There was a fair amount of mechanical damage to supporting systems around the engine - Jeremy & his team fixed all of them! That's something to consider as most body shops will only repair, well, bodies. When he handed me the bill, he said "there's a LOT that was done that's not on this printout". I believed him. This "shark" pulled up at our auto accident and was told to tow the car to our insurance companies preferred vendor about 2-3 miles from the accident. Instead, he towed it to El Cajon and held it hostage (actually) until the insurance company paid him over $600 to release it. Then, it had to be re towed to the repir vent back over 30 miles. Wow, I am very impressed with their Collision Repair Work. Our 2000 Camry needed a new bumper and at least some headlight work. Jeremy gave a quick quote that was significantly better than another well-known shop quoted. And he said they could start right away. This was for a car NOT covered by insurance, so totally out of pocket payment. The car was done very quickly, better than I expected, they did more than they said. Overall, seriously, 5 stars!!! My mother and law had her truck towed by them to have fixed. She then had a few health related issues and couldn't remember who towed the car. At the same time she lost her phone and didn't remember her code so they couldn't call her and we couldn't access her messages. These wonderful people sent their driver by several times to try and contact her about the truck. It was with them for well over a month until their driver found a neighbor that was able to pass along Jeremy's information to us. Instead of charging an arm and leg for how long they had to store the truck we paid a very reasonable amount for the fix they completed. Frankly next time I need anything done for my personal vehicle we will be using them. I feel I can trust them to be honest and fair. They went above and beyond for an elderly lady who needed a little assistance when someone else could have taken advantage of the situation. Worth recommending simply for their values! read more

I have been coming here for a year or so for maintenance and repairs on my car. I am always impressed by the knowledge, skill and honesty of the mechanical team. I had a lot of troubles with various issues on my car last year and kept having to bring it in (none of which was the usa team's fault). Mark even came in on Thanksgiving Day to make sure I had my car running in order to do everything I needed to do! I just had a part replaced that was under warranty, and Jeremy took great care in getting it fixed. I was on my way to work last November and carelessly rear-ended someone. Used AAA for towing and the driver recommended USA Auto Body, (I think that his company was affiliated). Anyway, Jeremy was my contact. He initially estimated that my car would be ready in 2 weeks. It ended up taking closer to 4 weeks but I think it was mainly because my insurance company lagged, (not to mention damage was extensive - can't believe they didn't call it a total loss). Anyway, my car ended up looking great - paint matched perfectly. They also fixed a faulty sensor as a courtesy, (was quoted over $400 to fix when I took to Chevy dealer a couple of months earlier). Thank you so much, Jeremy! My Toyota Matrix is 12 years old and has over 200k miles. We had it repaired a couple of weeks ago (at a different shop) and there were underlying issues that were unaddressed. When we received the car, it was working but not at its full capacity. On my way to work, the hose that connects the engine to the coolant reservoir broke off and the car stopped running. I had the car towed and USA Towing (AAA) took my vehicle to USA Auto Body. Jeremy was very professional and kind. Knowing very little about cars and considering the fate of the vehicle was completely in the hands of the tow company (without any idea where he would take the car)... I was very afraid of how much the repair was going to cost. He was very honest and did his best to save us money. I drove the car home tonight and it feels like it can run for another 100k miles. USA is the worst business I've ever gone to! The only reason we originally went was because they're AAA approved and any of the shops they recommend are guaranteed to be top notch shops. We took our vehicle to get the front end redone, it was old (the parts) and were wearing out so needed replacement. We told Kevin at USA to replace everything, meaning the bushings, control rods, sway bars, rocker arms, elbows, all front end pieces/parts. We also stated there was a small oil leak and to please fix it. Kevin stated they could/would do that, it would take 2 - 3 days to complete and cost about $900.00. After 4 days and not hearing from them we called for a status update. Kevin stated they were having trouble getting the bushings in. Another 2 days passed and he called to say all was done. We picked up the car and noticed driving home there was a ton of noise coming from underneath the car, it was pulling to the right, and would barely go 30 mph. We got home and saw it was still leaking oil and that the firewalls in the wheel wells were torn, bent, and hanging there. We called Kevin and he said to bring it back out there. After 2 more days he stated it was done again, back out to pick up the car. This time was worse, knocking, scraping, dragging sounds and wouldn't stay running... kept cutting off. We barely made it home!!! Couldn't even keep up with traffic in the slow lane! Keep in mind the car was running great prior to taking it there, the problem was front end parts replacement and that tiny oil leak. My husband looked under the hood when we got home and we saw the bushing on the right side was not even attached!!! There are two (2) bolts that hold it in place, only one (1) was bolted thus the bushing was flopping around under there, not able to do its job. And the oil leak was still there!!! We called Kevin again, this time he said the elbows were bent and needed to be replaced. They'd just done that a few days prior!!! Now he says it's another $600.00 to replace them again, and that they had not replaced them before yet we'd been charged for them. He said bring it back out there. We told him it was un drive able would he send a tow truck? He said no to drive it. Remember it won't stay running, won't go over 25-30 mph, pulls hard to the right, and the bushing is hanging there unattached. We're very lucky we didn't wreck driving home! It could have fallen completely out causing the car to drop to the ground, flip over, loose control, cause a bad accident hurting others on the road, or us, God only knows what.... Now we have to pay someone else to fix the car, get it back in running condition, get the oil leak fixed, pay to get it towed, etc... It's been 3+ weeks and still no car on a job that was to take 2 days. Our only option now is to report them to AAA, file in court, file with the auto repair trade commission. Which I intend on doing! If you want honest mechanics do NOT go to USA Auto Repair off Vernon Way in El Cajon, CA. Our vehicle is a show car, has won many shows, been in videos and magazines. It's a 1994 Lincoln Town Car Cartier, customized and beautiful. We've put thousands into it to get it looking like it does and keep it in perfect running condition. It's worth over $28,000.00 as it is now (once this mess is straightened out). Just wanted to warn the public about this place. If they had icons that showed 'hell no's', or 'bad service' I'd be adding them!!! I have to mark one star or you can't post your comment. I came to fix scratches on my car after their towing company towed my car (my property) for me, OWNER of the company told me that I'm lying about the scratches, that they didn't do it, and if I decide to sue them for scratches HE WILL COME AFTER ME AND MY HOUSE! I wanna highlight that he repeatedly yelled that several times in front of 4-5 other people! I was scared, and I did not fight him back whatsoever! I never got any apologies for what he did, left the store crying and I'm sure it's not legal to be freighting a customer with words "I'll come after you and after your house, yes I mean it, try suing me and I'll come after you and your home". One thing it's illegal to be frightening someone for no reason, another I was a customer in their store and their owner treated me this way. His workers told me he won't apologize, one of the workers exact works were: "It won't happen, he won't apologize, because he's the owner". It's just ridiculous and I was extremely insulted. read more

I've used these guys for towing several times and they are over the top excellent. The last time I had a vehicle towed, I asked the driver if he knew a good body repair place and he said they do that also! I took my car in for an estimate and two things happened that extended my respect for this business. 1) Richard gave me a very reasonable bid for the work and took the time to explain to me what they would do and what the time frame would be. He broke down the costs if I needed to spread it out but also gave me a very good package price to do it all at once. 2) We discussed my situation with the vehicle and both concluded I would be better off waiting until I was ready to sell the car, given where I have to park it (high risk for further damage). He gave up some immediate business to help me do the right thing financially for MYSELF!!! These guys are so over the top honest and place customer service at the top of their priorities. They are number one in my book. read more
