The initial sales experience with Mike was positive. He was professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, execution fell far short of what was sold. What was represented as a one-week project extended to nearly a month. The assigned supervisor, Eduar, spent limited time actively supervising the work, frequently remaining in his truck on the phone or managing repeated trailer issues in and out of our driveway. The crew itself was subcontracted, had completed only four metal roofs prior to ours, spoke no English, and lacked basic equipment--including ladders--which they repeatedly took from our property without permission until Ridge Max was contacted directly. Jobsite cleanliness and safety were unacceptable. Our pool and lanai were left covered in debris that we ultimately had to clean ourselves. The crew regularly worked after dark on a steep roof using cell phones for light, creating a serious safety concern that required intervention. Beer cans were later found on our property, which the supervisor acknowledged purchasing for the crew. Communication deteriorated after the first few days when Ridge Max reduced crew resources and continued to supply faulty equipment. Promised timelines were repeatedly missed, and concerns were consistently raised without meaningful resolution. We were pressured into purchasing attic fans with the assurance they would be installed at no charge; however, installation was delayed for weeks and nearly placed in a highly visible front-facing location rather than the agreed-upon rear placement. After escalating concerns to the original salesperson, a second supervisor was sent who acknowledged our dissatisfaction and stated the company "owed us at least a steak dinner." Despite requests, the owner declined to contact us or visit the project. We were asked to leave a five-star review and told a gift card would be sent--this never occurred. While the crew returned once to address outstanding items, numerous scratches and signs of rust remain on our new roof. Overall, the workmanship and project management did not align with what was marketed as a premium, professional installation. Buyer beware. Ridge Max Roofing did not deliver on its stated promise to "protect what matters." Based on our experience, the company prioritizes its bottom line over quality, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

It's still not done mid June, 2025. I've had two of their staff come look at the damage, document it, and promise to order materials. The most recent visit was in March. I've place numerous callls and texts. I've received numerous promises, broken promises, and postponements. The crew manager will not answer or return my calls. I finally got ahold of someone in the office this morning and they told me they hadn't even ordered the material yet. They told me they ordered in last November. I've been a contractor and hired many companies in my 50 years of doing business in the trades. This contractor is the worst I've dealt with regarding customer service. They apparently have no value in taking care of their customers once the job is paid for. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR ROOF!

Because of his years of experience, he was able to quickly assess the damage and quote me a price on the spot. By the same afternoon, I received a written proposal for my roof repair. After two weeks of accepting bids for my roof repair, I chose Dutch's. They were not the cheapest but I personally felt that Mr. Duchess had the best grasp of what needed to be done with my roof. Much to my amazement, they were able to send a crew out to my home two days later. Granted, I had my roof worked on in the winter time and not during hurricane season. The crew started promptly at 7:30am and finished up around 3:30pm. The two roofers were friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what they were doing and the different stages of the repairs. Overall, the job was completed in a timely, efficient and professional manner. The scope of the work was finished as promised in the Roof Repair Proposal. With Dutch's Roof Repair, I did NOT have to put a 50% downpayment for the work as some other roofing companies require and that was a big plus. Payment in full is due the day of completion. They also have a 5 year workmanship guarantee. I can definitely recommend Dutch's for any roof repairs or replacement.

We really respected the man who inspected our home, and he sees a lot of roofs, and he recommended A Manos Roofing. We called the owner, and he sent a crew out to do an estimate. The roof took a few days, and active rain in the area did slow them down, so that was fine. However, when we came home on the first day, we saw that there was some damage that occurred when they threw old shingles off the roof. There were scratches on the freshly painted house and on the brand new air conditioning unit. I do get angry easily, so I called up the owner angry, and he responded angrily. So, that took off one star. However, even though he yelled back at me on the phone, he did have his area supervisor, Tim, call me back. Tim was amazing and saved the contract for them. He came to my house promptly and addressed the issue. He calmed me down. He made it clear that "I want to do whatever I need to do to make you a satisfied customer." He meant it. Although I wasn't impressed with how the owner responded to me, Tim knows how to manage customers, set expectations, and recover the relationship when something goes wrong. When it rained, we found a spot where they had neglected to caulk, and Tim came within an hour and fixed it himself. We were having a stove delivered on a Saturday, and again, Tim came out within an hour and moved their trailer out of the way so that the delivery people could get in. Our inspector is going to come back and inspect the new roof so that we can get the wind protection discount on our homeowner's insurance. And I will amend this review if he finds any problem.
