After a recent debacle with UPS I have a feeling I will be using this location a lot more often. (Sidebar... UPS doesn't deliver to PO Boxes and won't tell you that either, just a fun tidbit). Also, they will charge you to reroute your package to you PLUS a convenience fee to do so. But I digress, the USPS WILL deliver to PO Boxes, so I found myself here last week to expedite my passport application. Maybe I've been lucky and always come in at non-peak times, but there's nothing wrong with this small Post Office in Berry Hill! I think my expectations are also low, so that doesn't hurt the situation either. I always appreciate when the staff will let me borrow some tape and a marker now and again before sending a package and have had that experience more than once at this post office. Overall, it's not in a super populated place and I like that it's small. I'm a fan. read more

This post office location is no better than worse than the average. Smaller parking than some locations, but people are in and out pretty fast (most people are just going in to check their mailbox or drop off a package). The post office employees were friendly and helpful when I went in with a stupid question (Amazon told me they had delivered a package to the post office rather than our house for some unknown reason, so I thought I had to go there to pick it up - but it turns out they just do that sometimes and then deliver it the next delivery day - thanks Amazon). Please get my driver to quit driving across my grass at 471 Rochelle Drive in Nashville. He or she drives from my postal box to my neighbors at 469 and he stays on my grass the entire way. The yard has lost about two feet of grass and there is a big rut where he or she drives around a pothole they already caused by driving there. I actually would appreciate it if someone from the Berry Hill post office would drive by and take a look. read more

Everyone has a gross attitude and keep delivering my mail to the wrong place.

This post office is right next to where I work so it's convenient but wow... only mail something here if you've got 30+ minutes to burn each time you stop in. There is never more than one woman working...she's friendly enough but she works at a snails pace. I've lived a lot of places and I do my best to not be a complainer, but seriously if you have an option between this post office and one 15 minutes away just go to the one that's farther away. I sent a local package priority mail. The tracking said it would be there the next day. It was going from franklin to downtown nashville. Easy right! Not only did it not get there I was not notified. When the receiver let me know they hasn't gotten it. I went on the tracking site and it said it was not delivered but didn't give any further direction. So I called and stayed on hold for 40 minutes to fine out there was a typo in the last number of the zip code and the package was now in limbo. They couldn't tell me where it was or when it would be returned to me. That's why people use Fed-ex!!!! read more

I don't know about the physical location of this office but I spoke to the nicest man on the phone just now. I think he is the supervisor of the melrose location or something but he was so incredibly kind and helpful and I just really enjoyed having such a pleasant conversation which I wasn't expecting to be honest! read more

Even more reason to love the Berry Hill area, this is my favorite post office in town. I'm far from a regular, but if I'm ever in the area with mail to send, I make a beeline for it. The people inside are fast and not rude, unlike some places where I've had my credit card THROWN back at me when they were done with it. The only thing I find unsettling is how unconcerned people in the parking lot are. Seriously. They don't care if your reverse lights are on, they may stand behind your car, take a good look around, punch a number into their phones, or just walk annoyingly slow. Momma always taught me not to run over people with cars though, so I usually go for my signature death glare. read more

I finally found a Post Office in Nashville that I like. It is located in Berry Hills Section of Nashville. I found it passing by on the main drag to and fro work or going to Kroger's in the area, which is my favorite Kroger's in Nashville area. I usually go to the Post Office on Nolensville Rd, but they are always so full of people lined up for the slowest help in America..so I hated going to the Post Office, dreaded going to the Post Office and found myself leaving mail in my vehicle forgetting to send off, because I hated going to the Post Office..until I found this location.. It is smaller, but easier to get in and out of..The line goes fast if there is a line and the postmasters on duty are always so friendly and from the small talk interaction you hear while waiting in line, it is a family location...Which was a nice feeling!!!! I like this Post Office very much and I am happy I found my "HOME POST OFFICE"...about 15 miles from my home, but all mine !!!! read more

Sadly, my review is not as glowing as my fellow yelpers. I live near this location, and upon the last several visits, there have been lines. Now, I don't mind lines, in general, but at my last visit, there was a line and NO CLERKS. NONE. For at least ten minutes. And when a clerk came back, it took quite a long time to advance the queue, though I found her to be friendly and competent when my turn finally came. Hubs and I had a pretty annoying issue here as well, when we lost our mail key to our box which is managed by this branch. He spent one week of patience one week of daily inquiries to get our lock replaced and receive new keys. read more

I've had so many issues with this post office. They are constantly losing my mail or sending it to the wrong address. Every time I try to call, no one answers, I'm not sure why I can't get ahold of anyone, but I'm sick of ordering things or having people mail me things only for them to get lost. read more

Friendly, but slow, unfamiliar with the equipment they're using. Place has looked like a tornado hit it the past three times I've been there. I showed up last time and there were two people working and three people in line. This should have been a two minute transaction. What followed was being told to come to a side door to have my packages scanned using an iPhone (I believe,) with a scanner attached that had so little juice that when it wasn't plugged in it couldn't scan, and if it was plugged in couldn't accept payment. This was also pretty early so thing had been left unplugged the night before. I got 99% of the way through the process and they couldn't accept payment. So I got to go back, wait for a CSR to open up, wait as all the things were cancelled and start the process over again with a different person. I'd have spent a couple more bucks at UPS but I'd have been in and out in much less than the 20 plus minutes I spent there. read more

This is the place where everybody knows your name. Well, not my name, but it seems like this post office must have a LOT of regular customers, which I find a little weird. There must be an enclave of ebay sellers in the area. They are also a lot faster than *my* neighborhood post office, which is why I prefer to come here when I can. read more

This is the worst post office I've ever had to deal with. Unfortunately, if you live in the neighborhood, you don't really have a choice but to deal with it. When I moved into my house, it took WEEKS to receive my mail since I lived in a new neighborhood. They actually argued with me--saying my address wasn't real. Fast forward a year, I had my mail held while out of the country for 2+ weeks. When I went to pick it up, the lady was extremely rude and INSISTED that I lied to her about living in a house instead of an apartment...all because ONE letter out of 20+ was addressed wrong (they included an apt number when I actually live in a house). If you want to be told that your house doesn't actually exist and be accused of lying about where you live, this is the place for you. read more

I've lived in this zip code for 28 years 37204 ,and a gone through 3 post person that deliver our mail. . They are like family . I have never met kinder men and women. Each time one has retired or their route has changed I've felt a sadness. They have gone out of their way to deliver my mail with my barking dog never giving them a break. Possibly the worst post office in the US. Certainly the worst one in this area. If I could change my zip code I would. Constantly delivering the wrong mail to the wrong address. Most recently, over Christmas they managed to deliver over 15 pieces of my mail to an address .6 miles away, with a different street name entirely. The whole city of Berry Hill is the smallest in Nashville - less than 1 square mile! - yet these people don't have a clue how to sort. The whole attitude is "Hey. I've got a government job. I'm here forever." What a contrast with the post office on Glen Echo. I've been dealing with wrong mail delivery for over a year now. It's ridiculous. read more

I called about a missing package and spoke with Barnard. I was frustrated regarding the package and also asked him to explain what may be happening or what I can do to fix the issue. He was very hateful and I had to ask him multiple times to not speak to me like an idiot. After about 20 minutes of him not really answering my questions, but saying the same thing over and over he said, "you've spent 20-30 min with me on the phone. I'm going to hang up now". No answers, no help, NOTHING! I asked him one more time to answer a question and he responded with there are carriers waiting for me to help them, I have a job to do- have a nice day. Post offices aren't the most exciting of places one gets to visit. I have to say, though, that the friendly service at this particular location has compelled me to sing their praises on Yelp. I frequent this post office more than I would like, but fortunately, the staff does a great job of trying to make the experience as friendly and speedy as they can! During the holidays, additional employees were present to make sure to direct those prepping their packages on the steps to take in order to help things move as efficiently as possible, even aiding at the self-serve kiosk. Carrier was not paying attention to driving and ran off road and plowed up my yard. Good luck finding how to contact the PO for assistance. I took a photo and plan to go by the facility. The tires on their vehicles are like snow tires and leave large ruts. read more

the post office itself is o.k. - but they are horrible at delivering your mail - unless you like other peoples mail and getting your power shut off because they didn't deliver your bills . not to mention there is a new clueless postman everyday with the wrong mail. read more
