This post office is absolutely horrible. The employees are SO RUDE and every single time I go in…read morethe cashiers are "not available for the next hour" just randomly during business hours. Fuck this place. Go somewhere else.

This is the worst post office I've ever used in my entire 60 years. Luckily my home mail is not…read morebad, except for the time they delivered my mail to a neighbor three streets over whose address was nothing near mine. My issue is with the post office itself -- I got there recently at five minutes before they opened. I waited for the clock to hit 8:30, their posted opening time, and still, no one appeared to open the doors. By 9 am, there were four of us waiting. We could hear people in the back, so we knew staff was in there, they just weren't coming to open the front. I finally hollered at them if they could just please let us know what time they DID intend to open, it would be helpful, but got no reply. I waited another ten minutes then had to go, because I had an appointment. About an hour later, I returned to find people still standing on the pavement waiting. One was getting back in her car and said to me, "They still aren't open, don't waste your time going in." I was about to leave but thought, "This is ridiculous." I intended to knock until someone came to talk to me. I went in, and though the sign still said CLOSED, I tried the door. It was open. They just hadn't bothered to turn their sign over. People had been leaving for over an hour and a half. The young lady who helped me was not rude but she seemed to be completely uninterested in helping me find my lost package, and told me I had to fill out the form online. I was not happy. The PO had wasted a lot of my time that morning and I still didn't get what I was needing. When I have a choice, I NEVER go to this post office. Unfortunately, I don't always have an option.

The receptionist, Linda, was incredibly rude. I've had more pleasant experiences at the DMV than…read morethe one I had with Linda. At the end of the interaction when I was paying for my shipment, she reached around the glass and clicked the green smiley face for me, indicating that I had had a pleasant experience. This couldn't be further from the truth. Between the demeaning tone and the rude and sarcastic responses, I left feeling very upset. She gave off an arrogant, untouchable attitude. The item I was shipping was breakable so I asked if I could put fragile on the box. She proceeds to tell me "it's not gonna matter, what matters is how it's packaged" (completely fair!!) I told her i understood but asked if we could still put fragile on it for my mental. We do this same dance 3 times before she settles on giving me a marker so I can write fragile on it. The computer asks me if there is anything fragile, I hit yes. She let out a sigh and pulls out a stamp to stamp what I assume says "fragile" on the box. "Ugh this is so hard" she says as she stamps onto the box. I apologized about not being familiar with the process and her response was "well honey that's not a good excuse because everyone orders packages." To which I responded "i actually don't" and she proceeded to tell me that I was a "fibber" and ask if I've ever gotten a piece of mail in my life. And believe it or not, sending and receiving a package are two very different experiences. Someone speaking to people like this should not be dealing with the public.
