I attempted to have a very small box containing sunglasses, shipped at the Bellevue/Newsome Station postal location. I had the shipping label printed with me. The box needed about 10 inches of tape to close the box. I asked the representative to please tape the box and attach the label. He informed me that because of DOGE he could not perform either of those tasks and directed me to buy a $4 roll of tape and do it myself. What do we, as tax payers pay these people to do? Over compensated cashiers. Terrible customer service at this location. I recommend this individual receive customer service training, learn how to treat customers and avoid political commentary while on the job working for the US Government. read more

Really rude and not helpful. I had to buy three different sets of stamps to get what I wanted.

USPS is the best. They're faster than over night. I continually use them and love them for the support

This was the worst experience I've ever had with any shipping or mailing service. I had a delivery scheduled, and USPS claimed the item was too big for my mailbox. No problem--I called the 1-800 number to confirm I could pick it up at the specified location. The representative assured me the package was there. When I arrived, I was met with confusion and disbelief. Staff claimed the package had never arrived and seemed baffled as to why I was told to pick it up or reschedule. This package contained thousands of dollars' worth of baseball cards, and now it's missing. I suspect it was stolen at the facility. Currently escalating with no luck. To make matters worse, the "manager" blamed me, claiming the address was incorrect--yet I receive thousands of packages annually without issue. When I voiced my concerns, he shut the door on me instead of addressing the problem. Avoid this facility at all costs. Their incompetence and lack of accountability are unacceptable. I would give a negative score if I could. read more

I came in to grab my keys for a new po box, and just happened to walk in as half of Nashville decided to also stop by.. The lobby got super crowded really quickly, and the only worker there at the moment named Mark handled it all super professionally. He was helping 2 &/or 3 customers at a time, dealing with people's mistakes and helping people correct issues with their orders all with a super positive and friendly attitude. I was blown away by how good he was at his job, but also just how great his attitude was during a highly stressful and annoying situation. I've been here before and they were nice and accommodating but today I came in to pick up a package at 4:55 pm (5 minutes before close) and a guy who I believe was one of the managers, nearly shut the door in my face. All of the employees were still there and when I asked if they were closed he rudely snapped back - clearly inconvenienced by my presence. He seemed baffled that I would even be so bold to ask if they were open...when technically they were, according to their hours. I would understand if it was a service that took awhile but all I was doing was picking up a package lol would take 2 seconds. Very rude and clearly left me feeling annoyed enough to come onto Yelp. Visiting this Post Office was a delight! It is without a doubt the best experience I have ever had at a Post Office. The girls at the counter are a hoot. I think the girl that helped me was named Lateese (no positive this is the correct spelling). I need to find something to mail so I can go back!!! I primarily use this post office if I've missed the mail carrier for the day and want to send back some Netflix. They have a nice big mailbox out front with pickups at 2 and 5 pm. You can drive up, drop off, and drive away. I've never had to go inside, so I can't speak to any of the services there. But none of the mail I've put in the box has ever been lost. One of the nicest Post Offices i have been to in my life. They try to keep the line moving and they are nothing but nice. Bring your own tape, they will charge you 3 dollars for some tape you can get for 1 dollar. It will be busy whenever you go, yet the line moves. There are 8 parking space and it it has drive thur drop off. You can use the side street to get back to 46th ave. Really very very very nice staff, just very busy. read more

The customer service here has been amazing. They our patient with my three-year-old and humor my high maintenance requests. I just found out we are moving to Hawaii in two months and I will miss this post office. I can't imagine anyone in Hawaii is going to be as patient with us as they have been. We also loved most of the postmen we had the last five years. There was one made several mistakes but the post office was happy to correct them. Overall I am very happy with the well-rounded service. I do not recommend this location. The lady working today was unpleasant and bothered to be having customers. I was in to activate my PO Box and didn't complete the form they had which I did not know was a requirement. Just checked my account today and the form is there now so it must take a few days to show up on your USPS online account. Canceled my PO Box at that location due to poor customer service. They could had offered guidance or provided me with an actual paper copy of the form. read more

I've honestly never been able to find a parking spot here. This is a really small post office, and they don't have an automated center. The last pick up on the outside drop boxes is 5pm, which is a little early for me. I go here because it's very close to my house. The post office in this city is awful. They lie and say they have delivered items when they haven't. They actually forwarded mail of mine when I have never asked them to do that. I don't even know where they forwarded it to .... some place I have never been too and don't know anything about. And just try getting customer service from them. What a joke. I typically use this facility when I need simple things shipped and it typically is slow and transactional. It's a post office after all. There usually isn't much to it. I went in about 2 weeks ago with my wedding invitations. Not everyone knows the process that goes into getting wedding invitations done. I spent days on getting these ready and I actually visited the USPS website to ensure I was following the proper postage instructions. I tried to ensure I was prepared as possible. Work let me off early one day and I knew exactly what I could do with my extra time - go to the post office! I gathered my invites, put them in a box to protect them, waited in line for about 10 minutes. As soon as I get to the counter, the guy "helping" me was super rude and agitated. He was clearly irritated that he may have to assist a young woman with her wedding invitations. He then started shaking his head at me and rolling his eyes. "Did you even come in before stamping these?". I let him know that I had not but made sure to read all of their instructions on their website. He begin acting like it was a big dilemma...it wasn't. He treated me like an idiot. I simply requested that we should not panic and find a way to make it right. He told me that I would have to buy more stamps. Ok, easy enough. I then asked him a simple question about hand canceling. He just gave me a snarky look and would not say anything. He then just nodded yes that they could do it. Clearly, I was his worst type of customer. That day there was also a very sweet woman working and I really wish I could have worked with her. She was actually nice and being super polite. When I finished stamping all of my invites, she had just freed up, so I asked if she would help me. She looked a little perplexed because her coworker was free yet I didn't go to him. To be polite, I didn't say what had already happened. As I began telling her that I wanted hand-canceling, they grabbed my box of invites, some spilling on the floor and becoming dented. After the rude service, and attitude, and then dropping of invites all over the floor, I became frustrated. I let the woman know I was very new to doing something like this at the post office and just wanted to learn more. They did not want to really hand-cancel and they looked at me like I was nuts. I was also the only one in there at that point. I had something important to be done; not everyone takes the time to work on invitations; it is super time consuming so I was just ensuring I did what I had to. I really don't ever want to go back to this location. That nice woman is the only thing they have going for them. read more

My postman is always skipping my delivery and logging balogna like "'re eptacle blocked", or just not delivering packages. Left packages on sidewalk on more than one occassio n. Office rarely answers the phone. Office is dirty and small and generally there is a 30 minute line for the counter which is almost never manned by more than one person read more

Am I really reviewing a post office right now? Is this adulthood? Would 16 year old me think present me was super lame? Probably. But that's besides the point, because this place rules. My boyfriend frequently forgets things after leaving for tour, his favorite shirt, rain jackets, winter coats, boots, you name it- I've probably mailed it to some venue in Anytown, USA. With that being said, I'm here quite often, and each time is better than the last. I find parking easily even though the lot is a bit small, I go in and awkwardly pack said forgotten item, and skip on over to the line. The staff behind the counter never fails to greet me with an enthusiastic hello and a warm smile. Pretty standard stuff right? Well yeah, but it gets better. Even though I ship things about 3 times a month I still mess it up sometimes. I'm human okay? Even God made mistakes. But the staff never ever makes me feel bad about it, they always patiently assist my paperwork and repack if necessary, with a smile to boot! We have some light banter and I'm off on my merry way, with a tracking number and a full explanation of what to expect. They always offer me the best price and service option to my current situation and I am super grateful that I don't have to go too far to make sure my package gets to it's destination. On top of all that, they have a 24 hour "lobby" with a service machine that you can buy individual or booklets of stamps and other mailing needs, score! It does only take cards though which is annoying for me considering I hate putting anything under $10 on a card, but that's just me looking for something to complain about at this point. Have lived in zip code 37209 since 1979, have never had any complaints on been upset with the mail delivery. This past Friday and Saturday packages that where delivered to my house, and on tracking where said to have been placed on my front porch, were in the front yard by the gate. This upsets me greatly since I am having to use a walker and my front yard is uneven. Had to call family to come and retrieve the packages. It is hard when one ages and starts to lose some independence. I'm afraid if I cannot trust that ordered packages will be placed on the front porch, where I can retrieve them from, I will have to quit ordering items I need. This will add another complication to my life. Tried numerous times today to call my local post office, number will ring, then sounds like it has gone to a fax machine or is busy. Checked the number several times to make sure I had the correct one that shows on the internet. read more
